Invision Community represents what I've looked for in community management software for nearly a decade.

  • Simple/intuitive content management - CHECK
  • Powerful member management tools - CHECK
  • Robust engagement capabilities - CHECK
  • Ability to extend built-in capabilities via API - CHECK

I can now easily deliver a fully dynamic and engaging user experience to my members from within a single tool.

Influencing tomorrow's community's which is incredibly difficult, due to our commitment to providing the most compelling community features that we deserve. Like you, many of us have been striving to bring our community the best. Years of investigating for a better community platform was found, Invision Community. We have found out that we have a great audience from Invision Community to listen to our comments, questions, and feedback. Thank you Invision Community for creating and providing our community with the tools we need to make our community so successful for today and the future.

Let me know if you want me touch it up a bit more. When I saw this topic, I had a bit to much beer....

I've got two that use the whole Invision/Envision thing.

  1. When I envisioned making my community; I knew it had to be with Invision Power.
  2. I've been using Invision Power Services since 2007; and I can't envision my community without it.

My site isn't safe for work, but I'm not doing it for the clicks. ?

In December 2003 when I first startet my online community, it was quite random that the choice fell on Invision Power Board. Later though, I did some research on different community software, looked at pros and cons, and I was still happy with my choice. The forums look and work smooth and are very adaptable. I was able to add paid subscription packages back in 2008. The admin control panel is intuitive to use. And it only gets better. I am happy to pay for the constant development and the support that I can get.

Google Translate  (not very good, if necessary I will write that in better english) :

It has been more than 10 years (2006) that our site, founded in 2005, is based on IPB technology. Initially it was a blog from scratch associated with an IPB forum that will become the lung of our site. Today it has become a complete package that is fully articulated on this technology. Since the last major update and since we have associated Page & Forum, our visitors are more numerous, stay longer and participate much more.

It is not for nothing that it has been for 13 years the only French-language site in the world on this magnificent football club that is Inter Milan. Invision has part of responsibility in this beautiful adventure. Thank you for laying such a product and thank you even more for continuing to make it evolve so brilliantly.

Coming from another prevalent widespread community software IPB has helped us to leverage stability, performance and community management in general.
All areas and features from forum management, permissions, module integration are top of the class.
To us Invision Community clearly offers the most feature-rich all-in-one suite on the market, I would recommend any community owner, especially of big communities, to evaluate the Invision Community software suite.

Once I finish setting it up and learning how to use Invision's Cloud Service, I see great things happening for my community orientated site.

I have been testing other platforms and I think I have settled on Invision Community for CarHauler Community.

There is no guest access right now and I have restricted the site to a specific email address that I own. This is the coolest feature, because it locks down the site to known people. Check again in the future, because when it's ready I will have "public" site front door.

Great product, responsive team. I'm impressed. I look forward to becoming apart of the Invision Community!

Feel free to chop and edit. Jason

"IPS, what Facebook should have been." No just kidding. Facebook sucks.

-------

But seriously,

"The story of humanity, one person at a time."

We were built out of the need for human companionship, a togetherness that only comes from people helping people. We wanted to be able to tell our stories and share our experiences with everyone who needed them. By us telling our stories we are able to share that moment that forever changed who we are. But the idea is to not just tell our story, but share the journey in how we overcame that moment in our lives, allowing others to read and see the story and connect to the one sharing it.

https://community.humanastory.com

without IPS, and their dedication to our needs, this would not be possible. You have been part of our extended family for some time now and we are not only honored, but proud to say you are a big part of why we do what we do.

Thank you Invision Power Services.

We are using Invision Forums since February 2003, and our community is growing and growing over the years (more than 15 in our case). From 1.2 to the latest version, we've seen improvements, stability, new functions and performance, making our forum number 1 in our country

Our software team members have spent over 5 years assessing the top Professionals' Networked Community (PNC) platforms which are used to deploy business-related discussion forums. We thought that we had seen and tried all of the best. But then we came across Invision Power Services (IPS). This PNC gave us a whole new appreciation for the state-of-the-tech. The bottom line: we scrapped our prior investment and have moved to IPS. We couldn't be happier and look forward to making a huge business impact with the global Cannabis Connect Value Chain standards bodies that we're about to publish for numerous countries that want to jump on our bandwagon at https://www.chchains.org/.

Thanks for the glowing recommendation.

Just curious, what other PNC platforms did you evaluate, and what made you ultimately choose Invision Community?
