I’m testing the Invision Community PWA on iOS today. I ran into several usability UX issues including no reload/refresh button on the pages here. I think there are at least one page here that is being cached in the PWA. And I have no ability to refresh the cached page. If I visit the same page in Safari, I get the updated page since reload button is always available in Safari. In Safari I can swipe down to reload but not in PWA. Second theme issue is missing back button in PWA. I can swipe right for back in PWA, but swiping right is often hard to get interpreted as “back” in both Safari and the PWA. I think it might be a theme issue since on other site…

I’ve just been trying out the Gallery app via the demo, and I’m very interested in it - I would like to use it as a shared media depository that multiple users can pull from when making posts/content. However it doesn’t look like this is currently possible. I’d like there to be an extra permissions column setting that allows for usergroups to ‘access’ all uploaded images within a gallery/album when creating a post or other content in Post Editor. Not just images the user uploads themselves, but ALL images uploaded to that specific gallery album by ALL users with upload/access rights. Please let me know if this is possible, it’s literally the only thing stopping …

Please can you provide a dark mode for your documentation and help guides? It's not a pleasant experience switching from other dark tabs to your stark bright white documentation or trying to study it at night particularly when you have vision difficulties. Get with the times!

Hi there! I see that whenever I increase the caching time method, it obviously misses lots of views=views++; It make sense, for the sake of the optimization and performance. However, is there a way to just leave and execute this kind of update queries? I have lots of Guests and I try to cache the most I can. Then, I see that my articles, files, topics hits are very low comparing with what Google Analytics then reports. This set up then reflects in confidence from my visitors. They might think that my content is not good enough or even the content that they post is not being read as much as they see. Is there any way to "change" this behavior? What…

A lot of times someone will send me a private message. I open it, and it turns into something much more detailed than I want to deal with right now. I can't answer right away, but if I leave the window I am likely to forget about the message completely. In situations like this it would be helpful to be able to mark the message as "unread" or some equivalent state, so I still have a little red notification reminding me to deal with it later.

There is now statistics of coupons. It is impossible to see the results in the commerce statistics for the selected period for the selected parameters, similarly as for products. It would be great if this data would be included in the ACP commerce statistics along with the products and the ability to upload a CSV file. This will allow you to receive more complete information about commerce. The necessary data is in successful transactions: name/date/product/income and discount, but they are not in the commerce statistics. And yet, hopefully it will be possible for some specific groups to add a store from commerce to the club feature? Regards.

All products from themes to applications can add copyright, except translations. All other products from XenForo, vBulletin, phpBB etc provide a string to insert the copyright of the translation, it would be nice if IP.Board also thought about the translators every now and then... Also you have the tool that shows the differences in themes from version to version, why not do something for the translation system as well?

What happened to the requests area? It was a great area for users to find a developer for their projects. Even knowing the existence of "Third-Party Services", it is very inconvenient to have to send a message to each developer. Many are already busy with other projects.

Is there no way for members to set the privacy for their birthdates "Hiding for members / Birthday Widget" As the administrator i can set the option in general for all members. But we have some members who doesn't want to display their birthdates. I don't want to disabled it generally, because i need it for youth protection

The Achievement pre-define Rule set is handy but very limited, in my opinion. For example, I want to set user badges based on a parameter(number of points) of 3rd party app, and i can't. Maybe adding a condition milestone referring to installed custom app parameters is possible? 10x

Hello, would it be possible to enhance images that are added as attachments to a post? For example, that you can choose whether you want to insert the full image or only a small preview? I have run into some difficulties regarding the Bulk Mail feature which brought up some ideas for future features in the Bulk Mail section : 1 : Filter how many mails per minunte / hour or day can be sent. 2 : An export feature for member emails which can be loaded into any bulk mail tool. The current solution with the SMTP gateway is not sufficient to those tasks at all and leaves only the SendGrid subscription for 19.95$ / month as the only solution but this quite expensive if you are still building up your communty and having like 2000 - 3000 members.

Hi IPS, Can you implement a mechanism that would periodically check if emails the accounts are registered on still exist, are still valid or not blocked? Would be great to reduce a bounce back rate. Such user would be marked automatically by notifications system and bulk mail system as "DO NTO SEND".

Case Scenario: We have field in pages name ID which is marked as unique in nature i.e. two same database entries cannot have same value. Expected Behavior: When Posting data via API with same unique ID instead of throwing an error its inserting the data in both cases with same unique field value. Note: This works perfectly when creating an entry via frontend.

Hi, Have I done this incorrectly, or is this how it's supposed to work? I have some members who are very valued regular contributors, so I decided create a specific group so they did not need posts moderating and moved them into it. Some weeks later, I've noticed that when I look at the permissions section on any of my forums - the new group has no permissions to see any forums, or reply to them. Surely this can't be right? I didn't see anything about permissions when I created the group. So it seems like if I create any new group, by default the group is pointless because members can't see the forums unless I manually add permissions on all 20 forums one by one…

Hello IPS Team! I've already asked several theme creators about this, but evidently it is deeply coded into Downloads for IPS. Would it be possible to de-couple the custom blocks from the category (https://**********.com/files/category) view and files view (https://***********.com/files/)? Right now if you add/create custom boxes on the category view the same blocks show at the bottom of the /files page. It would be great to allow us to have custom blocks for each individual page (/files/ or /category/). There is no need to duplicate these blocks. Thanks
