A minor suggestion, and a convenience. When I "see edit history" in our forums, displayed is the history of the content, it would be valuable as a time saver if the edited text was highlighted for comparison within the versions of the post. At this point in time, it all looks the same between versions, I have to read the entire post versions which can be a lengthy read at times and try to discover what was edited. Thanks for the consideration

In 4.7.14 we get "Topics with No Replies" in ACP. It would be nice if we can get this as an entry in ModCP > Tools. It's easier to use for Mods.

Given that FTP/SFTP access to IPS Cloud isn't allowed, it would be nice if the media uploader accepted more file types. Not all files are for playback or viewing directly inside a browser. I want to offer my readers a FLAC file to download within an article, but can't upload it via the media uploader. Because I'm still self hosted I will SFTP it to the server, but it would be nice to have this capability for when I eventually move to the cloud. Accepted file types js, css, txt, ico, gif, jpg, jpe, jpeg, png, mp4, 3gp, mov, ogg, ogv, mp3, mpg, mpeg, ico, flv, webm, wmv, avi, m4v, webp, m4a, wav, pdf, svg

I often schedule threads ahead of time and occasionally, I would like to have the first "reply" posted. For example, the OP is an intro to something, and I want the first post (after the OP) to be my contribution. As an admin, is there a way to do that? When I have a scheduled post, I see " Comments are disabled for future topics.". Is that a typical behavior or is there somewhere I could change that?

I was surprised to find that when I add a New Member manually (to prompt an interested party to register) that they get an email so they can complete their registration with a password and other profile information - but there is apparently no provision to have them Accept any Privacy and Terms of Use provisions - or Opt in/out in order to comply with GDPR and CPUU regulations. This has to be an oversight, and one that creates potential legal liability when using the manual registration option to help those having registration problems. Shouldn’t be too hard to port them to the original registration page (or similar) and complete (or update) their registration/…

Can IPS add BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) feature? I like the looks of sending emails with my website logo showing in my mail app, like how Apple's emails are sent. This would help my site to appear more professional and trendy in the web-space. Can IPS add this feature? If not, can a third party add this feature?

Currently, mods can edit even Admin's profile and other mods' profiles.

Currently, topic detail page shows "<User> is also here" and apparently, there is no way to turn this feedback off. It would be great if users can turn their name display off "by specific forums". For instance, if s/he is viewing topics posted in a particular/sensitie forum, they should be able to hide himself/herself from being displayed to others that s/he is viewing topics in that forum. In addition, this setting may also be implemented for all forums so users don't have to select each forum individually to suppress display of their name in.

I added a WYSIWYG editor to Forums topic-view page but the same editor content is getting rendered on Post Topic page too. I need to hide this block on Topic Posting page as it is specific to topic-view page only. How do I hide it on Topic Posting page without having to edit templates? There is no CSS ID set for the div and both pages use the same CSS class for the div and no way to select it to hide it using CSS. Hiding the block using CSS is hiding it on both pages and deleting the block is removing it from both pages as both pages use the exact same block. It would give us more control if you use ID's for elements in addition to classes on pages, similar…

There are Publish Date and Time fields for Admins and Moderators while posting a forum Topic, Article and Blog. But don't see a way or permission to enable these fields for Members while posting a forum Topic or Article (Blog Entries have these fields for Members). I've enabled these Article permissions for Members - Please advise..

Some people use imgur to share videos, so it would be good to offer imgur video embeds. Thanks!

Why is this not possible already? We can merge topics, close them, sticky them, delete them - but there is no way to choose topics from a result set when searching and move them to another category. There really should be a way to do this from a result set that contains topics. It would really speed up the process of moving topics when new forums are created.

Just a suggestion, but as someone who loves Zapier for helping with tasks and automation, I am super happy to have Invision's custom Zapier app and also wish it had a lot more. Currently, it is very much limited to triggers and not so much to actions. You can create a lot of things via actions, but not much else. There is also the find action which is really nice, but nothing to really follow up with what it finds. So here are some suggestions that I had. Trigger on Published status as a trigger: It is overly difficult to just set up a zap to trigger something being published when it comes to scheduled content. The dates are in the new content created…

I just noticed and figured it would make sense to add usergroups to some of the pages blocks like the WYSIWYG Editor so you can pick and choose what groups to show. I can do it with a custom block but would be faster and easier if these default blocks had some usergroup controls.

Just an idea....Is there a reason why we don't show the topic url under sharing like we do for comments/posts? Maybe a "Share this topic" with url. I think its a missed opportunity in some cases. Topic: Post

Dear Community Forum Developers, I would like to present some suggestions to enhance the payment and withdrawal functionalities of our forum, making them more personalized and flexible. Below are my recommendations for the development of the community forum program: User Payment Customization: Allow every regular user to personalize their payment methods, including QR codes, email addresses, phone numbers, and usernames. This will improve the user experience, enabling them to choose payment methods that suit their preferences. User Withdrawal Customization: Similar to payment customization, permit ordinary users to customize withdrawal metho…

Feature Suggestion: Force Guests to Pay First then create an invoice. Currently creating an invoice when checking out and not forcing a guest to pay creates a bogus invoice with no contact information.

I my pages app, for some reason, whenever you edit an article the article's image is deleted and renamed in the background. Like most people who use the pages app, I often have to go into older articles and fix a typo or change something. Whenever I do this the article's image URL is changed. This can cause issues with image search in google, if your image was indexed and is suddenly throwing a 404, and it also causes problems with my weekly eNewsletter which I send out to my subscribers (I often cut and past last week's article content from my index page into that eNewsletter--if I should edit any of the articles within that eNewsletter after I've created it, the image i…

I have a small list of requests specific to this feature. Can you let me know if any of this is on the roadmap, or in general will/may be implemented, or if there exists a solution to any of them? Ability to award Badges to an individual without needing to tie it to a specific post, and/or the ability to award multiple Badges at once. My community is a group of video game collectors. As such we've based a bunch of manually-awarded badges around stuff like "Has collected X games for System Y". We've implemented a "Badge request" thread, wherein users make a post and provide proof, e.g. a photo, so we know who to award what Badges. In the current system w…

Please provide an option to I turn off irrelevant emojis by category like country flags, food, activity, travel, symbols, etc. It would be nice to filter out everything except Smileys and Emoticons (first and last categories) to eliminate all other clutter.

Hi, We just wanted to voice or concern and dismay re the impending deprecation of the Support requests feature. Appreciate it's somewhat basic and that there's more advanced alternatives on the market but for many small communities like ours, all we need is a basic solution and that's exactly what Invision provides. This is the primary reason we upgraded to the commerce package and we will be removing this from our subscription once the feature is removed. Like many, we are entirely non-profit, maintained by a small team of volunteers. The prospect of having to install & maintain another third party COTS application just to meet our basic ticket require…

I'm interested in leaning more heavily on the Our Picks (or the new 'Featured' function as it will be rebranded in V5) once Invision Community V5 comes out, and want to explore ways I can adapt that into a new homepage that covers all nodes/apps across my community. One weird quirk I've noticed with Our Picks, in its current state, is that it only keeps one entry for a promoted piece of content - meaning that if the same piece of content is re-promoted, the older Our Picks entry is deleted and 'replaced' with the new entry. An example: I promote a topic "Test" to Our Picks, give it an image, title it something like "Check out this test". It gets added to Our …

In the Page Builder widget sidebar, the Pages category contains the most often used widgets, but is at the bottom of the list. It's a nuisance to have to scroll down each time.

On IC cloud, Guest users who are not logged-in are served with cached pages which are cached for 15 minutes which is too long and not good for conversions/sign-ups. There is currently no way to configure this setting. People want to see the web pages and site activity before they decide to go through sign up. If the pages are refreshing once in 15 minutes, that's a bummer! Using the same setting for ALL the sites, regardless of their activity, is not optimal. It should be based on the site traffic and activity. Please provide an option in the ACP to set Cache-Lifetimes: 5 minutes, 10 minutes or 15 minutes. Site operators will choose an ideal cache lifetime …

Subscriptions have been available for some time now and offer a good way to monetize your community. It would be nice if each subscription had the option of multiple offers - time frame/settings. Most sites these days offer a discount for an annual subscription. In IPS, you have to create an entirely new subscription/box rather than something like:
