  1. If possible could RSS imports be looked at so they can import and embed videos from a YouTube channel, right now you just enter the URL to the channel in your RSS reader but on here the URL is not recognised as being a RSS link.
  2. I prefer the new link, never used them before as it looked cluttered 🙂
  3. If you go round someones house for a party and they ask you to take your shoes off before entering, would you say no I'm not, I'll go find another party to go to instead? What happens to the party when 70%, 80%, 95% of guests refuse to take their shoes off. The party is over. Some websites include forums rely heavily on ad revenue, if you have a few not overly intrusive adverts on show that help keep the site online, then find some visitors simply refuse to view them, I would be fine losing them as I'm confident that my site is the best available in the niche and for that one person
  4. How is that a security risk if they have already passed recaptcha and logged in?
  5. Ahh TikTok, the site where kids do dumb scripted stuff in the hope of going viral. Starting to feel too old for the internet 👴🏻
  6. I wouldn’t bother with Android, just focus on iOS and one day they will see sense and join us in the Apple world 😛
  7. Matt, I appreciate the humour, can get on board with that, but at the same time I hope the feedback is being noted and considered. I actually use my phone a lot more than I do desktop/laptop and access the admin panel verifying members daily. We all see things different and taking the science away from it, some simply find it easier to read white text on dark backgrounds, on mobile I’m one of them where as desktop I can handle the white backgrounds a little easier for whatever reason. Would be nice if IPS could include an inbuilt dark theme which can be toggled on/off. Whe
  8. *Puts on sunglasses* Too bright, too white, prefer the current theme tbh.
  9. Are you aware that since the iOS13 update which saw iPad’s break away into it’s own iPadOS it hasn’t been that great to navigate? Some links can take a couple of presses to trigger, although it’s difficult to consistently replicate which is why I haven’t opened a ticket. See the screenshot below, this is usually only accessible by desktop and hovering, which I’m sure you are aware is impossible on iPad. I’ve had a fair few members complain they get this on every topic they open, I can only replicate by kinda lightly touching on a unread topic but they insist it’s on every top
  10. You can change the button colours in the theme > edit > button colours
  11. Thanks @Bluto, appreciate it, will update the theme with this
  12. Like you, I was frustrated by the lack of a dark theme so created one. It's free, completely free and contains zero template edits, fully stock IPS templates which means as long as you don't edit any yourself, when you upgrade the theme will automatically update for you. No waiting around for developer updates before you can update your forum. The theme only contains CSS colour changes, it's rare that at this stage you will see any changes to the CSS that would break the colours. Now obviously when 5.x drops this most likely won't work, but should be fine for the duration of the 4.x serie
  13. If it’s just to stop spammers why not setup a new users user group, same permissions but can only edit posts after 5 minutes. When they reach 50 posts for example, automatically promote them to the main user group where you have no edit restrictions. I had a member that through tantrums and asked for their accounts to be closed, when informed all their posts would remain they went and edited the last 100 or so with a middle finger image. Did find it slightly amusing at the time, but annoying, since then I have had a 5 minute restriction for everyone. Had no real complaints alt
  14. As the theme contains no template edits, they should all automatically be updated unless you have customised them yourself. If there is anything that looks wonky let me know and I'll take a look, running the same theme on my site not seen anything come up yet myself.
  15. I don’t see how this is better, right now Create, Search and Unread Content are accessible with one press, moving them into the menu will make them 2 presses. The drop down menu doesn’t feel natural behaviour either. Not feeling any of this at all.
  16. To think the above plugin is almost 2 years old now and not been considered as worthy of changing out the box is a bit daft. In my opinion obviously. But there is benefits to talking to yourself, never had one argument. I get along great with myself.
  17. Previous search bar was much better a few versions back, both in appearance and functionality. I’m sure it defaulted to this forum when you was inside one, and possibly topic, could be wrong, but don’t think I am. Also losing the ability to search within a topic on mobile is a major backwards step for me personally as I used this a lot. Now I have to reach for a tablet or MacBook to perform what was simple tasks.
  18. But they don’t. I would like to see link previews as well, just think the request can be made without adding donkey poo statements like this.
  19. Disagree, I’m the star on my forum. My mum told me.
  20. I’m not on commission when I say this, but I wouldn’t be purchasing software with the intention of not paying the renewal fees and looking at it as a one time purchase. It’s not just new features and bug fixes you’re getting, but important security updates and the support for when things go upside down. Each to their own I guess, but as an administrator of a website which is holding peoples personal data, I feel responsible to ensure my site is running the most up to date and secure software. $80 over 6 months is $0.44 a day, that’s like 1/4 of a cup of coffee, we’re not talki
  21. I only found an issue when I went back to read an old topic and noticed side scrolling going on. After nailing the post and grammarly user which caused it, went back through the members post history to find multiple pages effected by it. Was an easy fix in the end, I told him I would ban him if he didn’t stop using it. He stopped. 😄
  22. Dear me, what are your visitors thinking, 49.4% Android? Ouch! 😂
  23. Let’s be honest it wasn’t “perfect”, notifications were better pre 4.4.4, but still had room for improvement. It would be nice for notifications not to be automatically marked as read just because you open up the notification pop up, and only marked as read when clicked on. If they can figure that one without this having to load the last page, or reappearing, perfection will be achieved.
