Discovered I'm getting an error when trying to post a Youtube URL when creating a new post "The value entered includes a character that is not allowed such as an Emoji". If I reply to an already existing topic, it will post just fine, but if you are trying to create a new post/topic, it throws this error. Any ideas? URL in this case: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZjQpenulx8"

After Marc Stridgen replaced my root domain with the actual root domain in Pro Plan. I could not login to Admin CP with the old admin accounts. Also, all forum icons disappeared (attached screenshot) How can I solve it? Thanks

Hello, I have been contacted by one user saying that 10-30 minutes after he exist my forum (only closing the browser and not disconnect from forum) The user disconnect when he come back—making him log in via Facebook/Gmail all over again. What issue could be?

Hi everyone As of yesterday, my forum is not accessible anymore (core4d.com) and error 500 is thrown. No changes or updates were made. My host checked the server and insists that the issue is in IPS. Got a message from our hosting provider that the ibf_core_member_history is a very large table at this moment. They ask us to reduce this table. Is there a way/setting that I can do that safely? Is it just history for what any member did on the database?

Hi There, When I try to move a specific topic from Forum A to Forum B, I see a modal opening to choose at which Forum I should sent the topic, and underneath that I also get a checkbox called "Leave Link to new location" if I am checking the box and try to move the topic from Forum A to Forum B. I get an error. Check the image below. Not seeing any option in the backend to get it fixed or turning it off

I'm adding some custom fields to a comment form in an application, however, adding them is a nightmare, unlike the normal form for the item itself. I had to alter the commentTemplate form template to place the fields in the correct position above the editor. Without the template edit, the fields were added at the bottom inline with the submit button, and the whole look was messed up. There is no easy way to only overload the comment template. I had to copy both commentContainer and comment to use my custom comment template. Hi, Just came on my site today and have this error across my site "[[Template core/front/global/userBar is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] also in Get Support, under Database it says "There was an error loading the hook scanner results" Any ideas what to do? Hi, I recently had to restore a site and noticed some log entries referencing applications/core/interface/ckeditor/ckeditor/plugins/ related to malicious activity and I see that was reported as a possible vulnerability. https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2024-30162 There was also another report for a SQL injection. https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2024-30163 Were these addressed in 4.7.17? hello! every time this sql command runs (IPS task?) it completely spams my database and renders the entire server unresponsive. why did this start happening? this issue started after updating the software on my server to the latest versions available. also, for a while now, if i visit the badges setting in ACP, it takes a very long time to load but eventually it does.

I have an SSO set up and created another Admin which is tied to the Admin Group. When that user logs in they have access to the blocks via the front end but not the ACP. I have a feeling that the account might be blocked but not sure where to check these logs to unblock them.

Hello, We recently noticed the following, whenever an “editor” field in your profile is filled in it doesn’t appear on your profile page, I also noticed the same happening with my profile on Invision itself (can’t 100% confirm as I don’t know the settings), all fields but the "About me" are showing. We tried disabling all customisation, but to no avail. Is this a bug, or working as intended? Thanks in advance! Kind Regards.

Hi Folks I'm trying to upgrade from IPB v4.4.6, but I am having some headaches that seem to have me stuck in a catch-22 situation. I go to the "AdminCP > Support > Something isn't working > Upgrade, I then run into this; You are running PHP version 7.4.33. You need PHP 8.0.0 or above. You should contact your hosting provider or system administrator to ask for an upgrade. However, this is where the problems begin. If I switch out the PHP version to v8.1, the entire site dies, with a white screen of death. Hello, After setting up Sendgrid using the default plugin, emails work fine except for account verification and password reset links. When users try to click on the link, they are redirected to my website and encounter the issue "Site is not found." The link sent has a weird subdomain: http://url8906.example.com/ls/click The message in Error Logs: Header can not be one of the reserved keys. Refer to the documentation link. Send Grid's documentation says: The issue does not occur when using SMTP email or PHP self-hosted services. Any help would be appreciated!

I need to move a user to a new subscription. When I tried to add him, I received the message that the user already had a subscription. Deleted and canceled the subscription for the user and waited until the expiration. The subscription still shows he is a member and there is nothing under purchases. User still shows in the subscription, but without the "view purchase" option. How do I get this person the proper subscription?

I suspect there may be some computation error with cache lifetime of rss imports. I created a page with some of these widgets and set their cache lifetime to a minimum of 60 minutes (some of them have 720 minutes, 1440 minutes, etc) and none of them have below 60 minutes. After loading the page once, the widgets are supposed to cache their data without making calls to the rss services for subsequent page loads for at least 60 minutes. But that never happens as the page seem to take the same amount of real time to load after just a few minutes from last page load. I heard from members that the password reset link in their email redirects them to the home page with no opportunity to update their password. I've tested and can confirm this behaviour. There are no entries in the error logs. Thanks.
