I have one home2000.com, Invision Forum. I hope that if the user uses home2000.com and has a suitable membership, the menu system will display a menu system that is unique to this membership. Hello, TL;DR; I'm currently fighting with a compatibility issue between IPB 4.7.9 and PHP 8.2. IPB reports that PHP version is ok and that all is good from this side. But all email sending are failing because of the following error: 4C143/1 Creation of dynamic property IPS\Email\Outgoing\Php::$language is deprecated Do you maybe have an idea from where it can come from please? I have 3 top Menu selections on my www.home2000 website, home2000 Amerifax, and Wisconsin. I would like them to each have a separate forum and gallery plus there unique menu (Amerifax & home2000. Is that possible, and if yes how? Or is there a way to have a menu that can group as if separate entities? I hope that makes sense. Bob

Hello i want to change my license key , to another domain , and i dint want to delete from my domain the instalation bechause i need backup when i install ips to my new domain and when i want to change url i get this error : There seems to still be an installation of Invision Community at the URL on file. Before you can change the URL, you must first remove the existing installation.

Nobody can change avatar in my forum and also the groups don't show properly, it's just a few of them showing in https://forum/admin/?app=core&module=members&controller=groups . Another issue is when I go to my profile there is no option to change avatar there near where the avatar is shown.

A customer just wrote me that he was not able to make the paypal payment for a bigger order ( approx. 800 US$ ) and sent me an errormessage. I logged in with a test account to test the payment gateway. All was working - the paypal window popped up where you need to enter the code provided by SMS. But the amount which I tested was lower. So my question is - was this just a temporary error or is there something need to be fixed ? I also checked the settings in AP - all looked normal since I never changed the settings anymore since the system is running. Thanks for the help in forward.

My community has a need to host some files for new Pages pages we're building which aren't accepted by the Pages Media Manager. This feature unfortunately restricts uploads to an allowlist of specific file extensions: Unlike for attachments, I couldn't find any settings to configure this list. How can I make Pages allow other file types (or all file types - we trust those who have access to this part of the ACP) through?

Hello, because newsletters are a sensitive topic here in Europe (GDPR) I'd like to hide the entire newsletter block from the notification center. Yes I've already set the manual opt-in method for bulk mails but I also want to remove this block from this center. The main reason is that the checkbox for email notification is enabled by default. How can I hide this box? We do not send any newsletter because we have no additional opt-in process. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm hoping to assign badges to specific posts. I've set up a few with custom icons. These two badges are to be manually assigned to posts by admin only and will indicate if we endorse the post. For example: "Supported by research" or "Endorsed by LTA". Assigning badges works well, but for some reason the icons related to the badges don't display with the post. Here's an example of what is displayed. The icon assigned to the 'Endorsed by LTA' badge looks like this, but is nowhere to be seen on the post. Anyone know if there's a way to ensure this icon is displayed with the post the badge is awarded to?

When trying to view a certain forum on my community in "expanded view", the result is an empty white page with an HTTP 500 response code. Hello, I had this issue in 4.7.6 and fixed in 4.7.7 but it seems it is back in 4.7.10. This setting doesn't work: Posts with links are not held for moderation. Fresh install of 4.7.10. No 3rd-party resources.

Creating a separate thread in case it's unrelated to this: Someone requested that their account be deleted, and so an admin set that going. As this was being processed in the background, it seems to have got stuck (~23% of 9k posts). This has caused the queue task to be locked every time it tries to run, once a minute. A LOT of other tasks are getting backed up because of this (mostly notifications, so far) and it's getting worse over time. We run four installs of IPB and only one of them is suffering from this problem. We have writers who write entries that later require approval from an editor/admin. That's fine, works as expected. But if the admin edits the piece and sets the publish date in the future, after approving it the article publishes automatically within the next hour or two. Sometimes it's immediate, sometimes it's five minutes, but it's publishing *way* ahead of schedule. Is this a common bug in 4.7.9 and would providing system logs or anything else help to better explain the underlying issue?

Hello, in the last couple of days we deleted a lot of old and hidden posts/topics. The list of deleted content in modcp is 200 pages long. 😉 We set the permanent deletion period to 1 day. Due to the fact that the "delete content" task runs only once a day and everytime it deletes only approximately 1 page of deleted posts it would theoretically need 200 days to delete all 200 pages. 😉 Is it possible to run the deletion task more often a day automatically? (I know that I can start it manually as often as I want) Another solution would be to use modcp to permanently delete the content, but this would also take a very long time, since only a few page…

Hi, We have activated the management of connected devices and in some cases the location of the IP that shows the user is wrong. This information causes discomfort because it is not a close location of the user. For example: IP- 88.5.20.198 The IPBoard IP Tool show "Barcelona, Catalunya" and the right location is Zaragoza (another autonomous community) The user don't connect via VPN. Hi, We've had issues with Authy SMS 2FA not working on our community. I reached out to Authy and they have advised that it has been discontinued and they have changed the product for SMS 2FA to 'Verify'. They shared an article on how to migrate.
