I get notices that a post needs approval (email / notification ) however by the time i get there another moderator has approved/denied I would like to see some clean up system task that will dismiss these notices automatically - if i log in to the site and see they are read - then i know someone took care of it already.

I'd like to see an option to have an additional field on the topic post form to set a "Promo/Cover" photo for the post. In the ACP, when enabling this option for a specific forum, the Admin should be able to provide a few default photos to be randomly selected as the default value for the additional field in the topic post form. The field may be changed by the poster to any photo attached to the topic (including replies to the topic if the topic post is edited). Or, have a button in the topic view page shown only to the author of the topic post that allows changing the "Promo/Cover" photo to any photo in the topic thread. Hi, I have two forums runing forums as default application with custom URLs : I removed "forum" from path because the first community is installed in forum.wearefpv.fr/ and the second in lesimprimantes3d.fr/forum/ so that the word forum is not redundant. Everything works well. Now, I would like to have System/Content Discovery as default application but when I activate it, it puts back forum in the path of the URL. The interface suggests that we can change this parameter again: But when I save it puts back forum again... Unfortunately, I feel this combination doesn't work well... Club Owners are of course able to pin their own topics within a Forum tab inside their clubs. Normally pinning topics with "Honor Pinned Topics" would be fine if it was just in the normal forum sections (excluding clubs) With this combination, my forum home page - fluid forum view is flooded and mixed with pinned topics from EVERY club + normal forum pinned topics. ? I would still like to use the "Show club content areas - throughout the community" option as it is useful. I am requesting some filter options for either the "Honor Pinned Topics" setting to exclude Forums inside Clubs, or in…

There's an option to sort by start time which gives you the newest but it would be great to be able to sort by oldest as well to be able to prune old messages without having to scroll all the way back. Unless there's a way to do that already that I just missed Also it would be neat to be able to have an option on the inbox quota to remove / purge messages beyond the threshold rather than simply going over but not allowing messages (which is good as a default)

The REST API Is simply amazing. But it's missing some core features. Commerce: When viewing invoices, you can see the custom field value but not the key? The key is just a number, but how do we know what it actually is? It returns i.e 1/0 for a bool, but how do we know if it's for Terms Of Service or another checkbox/radiobox we have? It should also output the custom field name. So if we have a custom field that's called "ToS", it should return that in the API. I'd like to request some features for the Moderator CP section. First -- the User Reported Content -- should be SEARCHABLE -- with a search box for simply User Reported Content. Second -- it would be nice to have a 2 more items added to the information. First, the person who REPORTED a post. Secondly, whom was reported. When dealing with hundreds of reports over the years ... it would be easier to search past problems and how they are related to current issues. Thanks, BB

I currently use "External Link" in my menu drop-downs for internal links to specific pages in my apps. The problem with this approach is that when the user selects a menu option defined as an "External Link", the tab containing the drop-down is not selected while in the app. I really need a way to specify a specific page in one of my apps to link to and also specify which tab is selected when in the app. In my particular case, I only have one "External Link" per app, but in some scenarios I can see having two such links in two different drop-downs. It could be that a better solution to this problem might be to add the ability to select the App in the "Menu Item Type"…

There are empty runs for the sitemap that slow down sitemap generation delaying the generation of sitemaps sometimes by days. It deals with sitemap settings and runs for the sitemaps that are not included in the sitemaps. This is how it is designed: If you do not include e. g. profiles in the sitemap (ACP settings) then those sitemaps still require one run for each sitemap that WOULD be generated if enabled. It means if you have over 200 000 users and exclude profiles from the sitemap you will not fasten its generation. I think it would be nice if admins were able to configure the suite to email reminders to people that they have unread PMs, e.g., if they have PMs x days/weeks old which haven't been read, then send a reminder which would be repeated X times (so a reasonable non-spamming limit could be specified). In addition, this could be limited/configured by group (or even perhaps by specific member for situations requiring more granularity). As a bonus, it would be even nicer to be able to use tokens to customise the notifications, e.g., "You have unread PMs from <member>." (lol...tried using square brackets and it doesn't show). If I allow comments AND reviews on a record (in my example, events) then I have weird behavior if there is a pagination for both: E. g. on the view of event http://example.com/index.php?/calendar/event/1-bla-bla/ I have two tabs: Reviews (with 3 pages) and Comments (with 2 pages). If I click on page 2 on the review tab, then I get to the page 2 on review tab - OK. If I click on page 3 on the review tab, then I get to the page 2 on the comments tab - false. It would be nice if links were processed in the activity view as well as the Status Updates widget. I see other type of content is processed for the activity view, but not links for some reason. Hello. I have some simple suggestions for lazy load spacer (i.e. the thing we see until image will be loaded): Use correct height for spacer (i.e. height of the content which must be loaded), If it will use exact that space what it needs it will prevent content from "jumping of elements" because of lazy loaded content. Add a clear explanation that the content is loading (something like <i class="fa fa-spinner fa-spin fa-3x fa-fw"></i> <br><span>Loading...</span>) So instead of this (nothing in the middle of nowhere): Users will see this: Thank you.

The canonical for articles comments (pages) is always set to article page despite of the comments page. It would be nice to have support for custom profile fields in Bulk Mail so that admins can send emails to specific users rather then many! This way emails are minimal and only targeted audience gets email.

Hello, I recently went to download my paid copy of Invision Power Board, and lo and be hold I am not able to because I have to renew my license. Wait what?? I paid $200 for the Invision Community Suite.. ok, and forums, then additionally I paid another $100 for pages, another $150 for downloads and blogs and some renewals. In total that is $450+!!!! If I do not pay for a renewal you should not refuse access to License URL or download section. Now, I'm not saying he I should always have access to newest updates, No. What I'm saying is that anything previous to the point I stopped paying should be available to me. P.s IPB4 fan boys/girls go away.

I use downloads to sell stuff and It just doesn't work the same as products setup in commerce. There is less control over coupons, promotions and no shopping cart. Would be so great if downloads was brought in and merged with commerce so all functionality was native to one another.

Are you actively working on adding enough PWA features to have a good user experience on iOS and Android devices? I've been playing around with Twitter's PWA on iPhone and it is almost indistinguishable from their native app (with only a few differences that I've detected). In fact, the Twitter PWA app does a better job at displaying lists of posts/users than the Invision default theme on my iPhone. It is super fast due to the caching service worker in the PWA and feels almost like a good native app should (even though Safari still has a ways to go to add the support for PWAs that Chrome on Android enjoys). I need a good mobile experience for my site and so…
