I like the new topic summary boxes, but have a few thoughts... "TOP POSTERS IN THIS TOPIC" - it's more likely people will want to read the posts, than the posters' profiles. If there's any way to bring together the posts someone has made (perhaps by minimising other posts?) that would be good, otherwise I'd have that link to the person's first / highest rated post in that topic. The "POPULAR POSTS" bit - I'm not sure how intuitive clicking on the date is. I'd make the post text snippet clickable (and perhaps that whole div, with the userphoto / name also going to the post, although I realise this would be inconsistent with behaviour elsewhere. POSTED IMAGES…

Example, change it from the current: to This will explain why it was changed and maybe educate members to make better topic titles.

A topic is a discussion, we know in a discussion environment sometime involve vote, that is why we have Vote ability in a topic. Tasks, Checklist... Are something often in the discussion, why it still not included as tools of our topic system? We need this kind of improvement...

It is not better format of use of space? Then make the title area completely clickable... Not just the text If is so difficult wait for ips innovate "so traditional format"... Why not ips offer more apps with out of the box options that let us adjust the format of some elements? Without involving the use of css or template... Or more 3party apps that let us play the design of format of different pages? Without involving the use of css or template...

In AdminCP System -> Site Promotion -> Advertisements we can add ads on the site and in email notifications. While we can restrict the ads to show only to certain groups, there is no possibility to restrict the email ads to the user group. Why? Please add the ability to restrict the email advertisement to the certain groups. Thank you!

If I have a manually added quote (ie a quote added using the quote button rather than by quoting another post), it is often a relevant part of the actual post (especially when it's in the first post in a topic), so it would make sense for those quotes to remain as nested quotes when that post is quoted (especially now long quotes are truncated). It wouldn't be too hard to achieve - just look for the attribution attributes on the quote before stripping it.

We're getting complaints from users that although they want notifications for things like replies and mentions, they don't want or need them for reactions to posts. It would be useful to be able to give them that option.

Hello, There should be more flexibility in the registration settings, with local depending on the service (Apple, Google, Microsoft) or global as currently. In this context I would like to be able to deactivate the "standard" registration without deactivating "standard" the login, and allow only by Apple, Google, Microsoft registration and login.

Hi! If I understand correctly now there is one template for the product page and it is common for all products. Accordingly, the blocks added with builder will also be relevant for all products at once. Is it possible to make each product unique with its own template. For example, I wanted to add a promotional video to a specific product in this way instead of giving a link to YouTube in the description. But this block remains the same for other products too. I think this is relevant for other blocks in the builder as well.

I don't sell merchandise so the point of gift cards really doesn't do much for me. What i would like for it to do is allow you to buy a "GIFT CARD" and send it to another member they can request a payout. I send $25 to someone by choosing their member name so don't have to request their email. They receive normal notification from site showing someone sent them $ gratitude for helping with their issue Use at their leisure can request the site for a payout ( less merchant fees ) The site pushes funds from payPal to them Perhaps an ephemeral badge is indicated somewhere?

Hi, That would be amazing to be able to download invoices as PDF. I know this is not an out-of-box web feature, but maybe you could see what's possible to do with a 3rd party software? This request seems really popular: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/455902-download-invoice-as-pdf-on-the-fly/ https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/459467-download-invoices-improvement/ https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/457560-generate-pdf-invoice-and-download-all-invoices-by-date-range/ That feature would really improve IPS.Commerce. Thank you!

Please consider providing a command line PHP script to perform installs/upgrades in a cronjob (or as single interactive command). I can handle automating updating the PHP files, but it is a problem to upgrade the database (which resides on multiple servers in multiple datacenters) in a production environment. I need to be able to perform upgrades of the database and the php files with minimal downtime, perhaps in the early mornings unattended. Ideally, upgrades could be performed in a rolling update to multiply PHP servers/MySQL databases. These services run in containers and rolling updates are easy to automate with the right upgrade system tasks. The upgrades can b…

Hello! The problem is you can't add a third-party translation of a third-party application into the existing language already installed from the acp marketplace. This is very annoying especially for non-English communities with third-party applications or even custom self-made applications. Users can't combine multiple language packs into one single language. I told support about the issue and just got an answer from @Daniel F that "the feature is working as intended and we have no plans to change the behaviour". Yeah, I think it means "we do not want to make your community solid and clean". Why you can't just make a good software for everyone, not only for English-s…

When a topic is moved the read marker for that topic is reset, meaning it no longer remembers the last post you were reading. My suggestion would be to fix this, so the read position is kept for members, when the topic/item is moved. Are there any plans to address this, and could you explain the current challenges in solving this, if any?

Can we get support for Font Awesome instead of png/jpg graphics for forum icons? If not, can we get support for SVG to upload Font Awesome icons instead of solely raster graphics? There is one mod out there do this, but it only supports up to FA4.

I think the "highlight posts" is an EXTREMELY useful feature on multiple levels. Firstly, it draws users' gaze to where you want it. It allows you to give different groups' posts more "gravitas" so to speak, making these posts more easily accepted as "legit". Lastly (from what I can think of), it can be used as a monetization tool to get people to "pay for cosmetics" and be more unique, just like in MMOs. BUTT (LOL), the fact we can only set one color per theme across all the groups who get this is kind of a downer, because it forces me to weigh very carefully to whom do I activate this feature so that the highlighted posts don't just become like banner ads an…

First of all, thanks for the ability to collapse quotes, it is very useful. However, since we rolled out the update, we've had a very mixed response, and it appears to be like marmite, with some users despising it and others loving it. Would it be possible to set the default action for quotes as to whether to expand or collapse them please? Much like preferences for opening topic links is customisable, so should the default action for quotes.

When you paginate (which is an ajax refresh instead of a full refresh of the page) it would be nice if the editor didn't dump your data. I've done it on accident a few times but it would be nice to be able to move and review other posts sometimes in long threads and the only way to do that is to quote them all at once or have the thread open in a new tab.

Hi there. I was thinking... it would be awesome if there was a way to somehow incorporate an "offset" feature into blocks. So you could set up Blocks like this: 5 Featured Topics block (most recent topics 1-5) 1 Calendar event Next 5 Featured Topics block (most recent topics 6-10) Advertisement Next 5 Featured Topics block (most recent topics 11-15) Thoughts?

Bitcoin is gaining popularity very fast and it would be good if the IPS Commerce would support it. Either via Stripe or another integration? 1 Bitcoin is currently worth $4662 right now. This is the Bitcoin chart over the years.

Hello, The function of the user activity is too limited I would like to know in which Club he is registered, which forums or members he follows. If it has published articles and to be able to modify in a click the status of publication. What is the date of the last connection with the IP address and not as currently a small scroll on the right. A specific page with all this information. In addition to being able to post comments that are only visible to the moderator or administrator.

Hi fam! I had a thought. Wondering if anyone thinks this would be useful or not. I am exploring utilizing tags more on my own community BreatheHeavy/Exhale. Today, I created a block that is only meant to show topics that include the tag "grammys." This is just so we can have a bunch of Grammys related content flood the homepage for the day. So my homepage looks like: Grammys content-items block All content-items block I am encouraging members to create Grammy-related topics (the show airs tonight). We can curate their content to show on the homepage as long as they use that tag. Problem is, my homepage is now including a block wi…

When editing using this: The last edit date should be updated on this listing. This is particularly important for databases that "last update" bumps the listing to the top.
