In AdminCP System -> Site Promotion -> Advertisements we can add ads on the site and in email notifications. While we can restrict the ads to show only to certain groups, there is no possibility to restrict the email ads to the user group. Why? Please add the ability to restrict the email advertisement to the certain groups. Thank you!

This is primarily a technical challenge because emails to multiple users can be compiled and sent at once with replacement variables (i.e. for sendgrid), but not an insurmountable one.

I just started using this to show a banner and realized I can't restrict certain usergroups. 😒

I sell subscriptions with no ads as a feature, but no way to prevent email ads.

When you send a bulk email, what if you excluded the group of people who subscribed? So they don't get that particular email.

This is about notifications. They all include ads if you set them once 😒
