Hello, When I split a private message, I get the following error: Sorry, there is a problem Something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX1054 After I get the error, the message disapears from my inbox. Ok ipb 4.1.x is all new to me used to the older 3.x.x versions anyway I got my logo image added to the header my question is it possible to move the forums table below the header image so the whole image shows instead of forums blocking some of it? Just want some expert advice before I go screwing the css up.

The settings in AdminCP > Members > Groups > Members > Edit > Social > Messages are supposed to limit how many PRIVATE messages they can make but apparently it's affecting how many posts on the regular forum messages as well. Anyone else experience this? I wanted to put PM limits in place because spammers are using that to spam everyone's inboxes.

I'm trying to upload plugins but every time it says "You do not have permission" and comes up with the error "The file uploaded is invalid" but I've tried different plugins and they're all XML, I don't understand.

Hello, I am currently upgrading from an old 2.3.x release to something newer (version 3.4.9), to jump then to the latest release ( as it is impossible to upgrade directly from 2.x branch to 4.x) and I got this problem with <{POST_SNAPBACK}> in place of old quotes in posts. So, currently I have 3.4.9 and can not fix old quotes, despite I ran all from "Recount and rebuild" section of ACP. I found some similar reports here, and it was said there is a script that fixes this problem, but there was no public solution provided to solve this issue. Is this fix exists? Can I get one? Thank you

I installed the newer version IPS 4.1.7 I have only added 1 app and 3 hooks none that effects member registration but for some reason with email validation enabled members are not recieving the emails I'm not sure where to even begin to look any ideas?

Hey guys... Having a closed site and all...I restricted it pretty well, too well actually. Going to the site, it displays the error... Sorry, there is a problem Something went wrong. Please try again. Error code: EX0 Clicking on sign-up acts as it should and responds with the message registration is disabled. Signing in works as expected. Members who have forgotten their password however, cannot reset as clicking on that link produces an error. (If you are logged in...the function does work, so I have restricted it somehow.) Any suggestions on how to unrestrict it?

With the official IPS Page addon. Every time I try and use {{$var = $_GET["test"]}} {{echo $var}} nothing happends? Now its ok in the blocks, as that allows me to enter Raw PHP $var = $_GET["test"]; echo $var; Any help appreciated. I presume it is the \IPS\Request but can not find any documentation on how to use that. (on a side note, the old version of IPS has sub forums for ip.blog, ip.board, ip.content .. I can not see them for 4.1? any reason why?)

Does anyone know about using IPS with Facebook Connect? I’m struggling to find any info on what it actually does. I’ve set it up, and tested it, but so far all I can do is use Facebook to register an account and sign in. I’d thought that it would also allow members to: Automatically import FB status updates to IPS Automatically import IPS status updates to FB Automatically import FB profile picture and cover photo Give members the option of publishing a topic/reply to their FB page But I can’t get it to do any of that. And Facebook won’t let me submit the app for review until I test the “publish_actions” permission – which presumably means…
