$_GET in Page

With the official IPS Page addon.

Every time I try and use

{{$var = $_GET["test"]}}
{{echo $var}}

nothing happends?

Now its ok in the blocks, as that allows me to enter Raw PHP

$var = $_GET["test"];
echo $var;

Any help appreciated.

 

I presume it is the 

\IPS\Request

but can not find any documentation on how to use that.

 

(on a side note, the old version of IPS has sub forums for ip.blog, ip.board, ip.content .. I can not see them for 4.1? any reason why?)
