First, please excuse me reporting bugs here, my client area account is currently bugged and I can't submit support tickets do to my e-mail being changed and some kind of issue with the support desk software. In short, this is an issue specific only when uploads are being chunked. Non-chunked uploads do not produce the error. Since the REST API does not accept a json body, what does the URL have to look like to transfer "fields"? Can someone please give an example? Something like: https://www.domain.com/api/cms/records/4?key=mykey&category=7&author=1&fields="field_8":"content here..." Isn't working...

Hello, I wonder is there a proven and a good method that would take the RSS feed from recently posted articles on IPS Pages and post them automatically to Facebook and Twitter pages? If such a feature would have a scheduling feature it would be even more awesome. I mean like any articles that day posted before 00:00-12:00 would be posted on FB pages at 12:00 and any of them like from 12:00-18:00 at 18:00 and so on.

Has anyone done a deep integration with Infusionsoft? I also need SSO to control WP membership site, IPS forum and a php directory access all by Infusionsoft. I've had this done this for XenForo, any guns in here i should be talking to about this?

Hi, I wonder whether this is a bug or an issue with our particular install/plugins/apps. When we have a post that has been hidden and the "blurb" (motive field) has been provided, the ellipsis and the moderation checkbox are moved to the right. Could you guys check to see if this is also happening in other installs or if this is something particular to our install? Thank you in advance. Gabriel.

Over 50% of our offroad users are on IOS and they upload MOV file that doesn't play in browser. Any clue/idea how to embed MOV files in IPB and play them without downloading them, just like MP4 video files.....? @Clover13 @Joy Rex @AlexWebsites have you guys found some solution? It's very disappointing and painful that we still cannot support IOS users.

We encountered this issue and opened a support request noting it as a bug. Upon adding images to a database entry, and then going to a new entry, the images remain in the editor and get appended to the next content item. Steps to reproduce: Create a database entry and upload images into the content Create a new post / database / thread entry and observe that images are retained in the editor. User must remove images from editor or they are embedded in content Expected results: Each new content item will have a cleared editor, with no previously uploaded images selected to insert.

Hello, I've got 3 questions: 1) how is is possible to change the number formating in the forum? I would like to use a dot instead of comma. Also, is it possible to display full number of replies instead of shortcut? 2) Image proxy is no longer supported in 4.5 Therefore what about old images that were downloaded using image proxy? Do they remain or they will be deleted? 3) In 4.5 background of forum categories is one color, while 4.4 and below offered 2 colors: Is it possible to make it display like that? Thanks.

Hello! How can I remap those posts that IPS created when migrating to those that I had on xenforo ? I expected that after the transfer, all rewrites would work automatically, but unfortunately this did not happen. After testing this I have noticed that the page responsive has changed to this After adding more than 4 tabs items. For reference I used this I saw it on 4.4.10 website has 6 tabs without any issue.

I realise the converter works with full forums and CMS's like Wordpress, but I was wondering if anyone has used it or has a suggestion (RSS import, manual copy/paste or MySQL table import, manual front-end recreation) for an old-school situation where a website has a simple news article MySQL table and HTML articles were inserted/pasted directly via phpMyAdmin, pulled from a mysql table into the pages of the front end website, used in RSS feeds etc. This is the actual InnoDB table used for news articles, it has about 450 rows: Many thanks.

Hello, I've tried the upgrade to latest version on my test instance, but after it I don't see anymore the menu bar. To be clear on production (4.4.10) it was showing up like this : On test after upgrade (4.5.2) I only see this (tabs are gone) : Where should I go to re-enable it ? I'm running the beta of the app in IOS and I'm having trouble accessing forums from the main forum list, if I click on a sub-forum from the list the app issues 'error' and closes the community. I can access threads from the main page quite ok.

Hey guys, wondering what I should do. I asked my host to make a backup of my forum database before upgrading to 4.5, but he had this to say: we noticed the following for this database:mysqldump: Error 1194: Table 'membersshop_logs' is marked as crashed and should be repaired when dumping table `membersshop_logs` at row: 633352So, you might need to fix this first then we will do the backup for the database again. Not sure what this means or what to do. Thoughts? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If I click on an image in a Gallery Category it opens in a lightbox. When I close it, it returns to the underlying page. If I comment on the image in the lightbox and then close it, the behaviour is the same - it returns to the underlying page. But, if I review the image in the lightbox and then close it, the underlying page has changed to the image's static page. Disconcerting! Is there a setting somewhere to make image reviews in lightboxes act same way as comments? Thanks for any help.
