Can someone please tell me where the setting is in v4.5 where the administrator receives an email when a new member registers...thanks

It was replaced by the Admin CP notification, IIRC.

Thanks @Adriano Faria so it looks like there is no way to get an email when a new user registers on your site

Not via IPS anymore but easily achievable with a resource.

That’s not true. Open the admin notification settings where you can set if you want to receive an email or not.

I am glad you know where it is @Daniel F because I can't find it...used the search settings in the ACP, looked in the Administrators group, looked in the registration settings, looked in my own user settings but nope, it is well and truly hidden

There's a link to the Notification Settings when you open the Admin Notifications.
