Hello, I use Adsense automatic ads in my forum. Sometimes automatic ads are positioned above the message content. And it is not possible to remove them by clicking somewhere. It seems that Adsence has trouble positioning its ads sometimes. Would it be possible for the team invision community to take into account Adsence automatic ads in its development? Sincerly, Théo'.

Currently a club Owner/Leader can only invite other community (website) members to join their club. It would be nice to be able to send a email invitation to non-community persons. John

Hi! The Wizard currently uses background images for the active and inactive steps. … and this makes really difficult to customize the Wizard ? – for instance just setting a different height (its height is currently hard-coded at 55 pixels). Wouldn't it be great to use purely CSS techniques to create the backgrounds? That would be much more flexible and customizable ? Thanks!

When boards grow in popularity and the forums get more content, it makes sense to split them up to allow users to have more specific forums. I currently have issues where the forum has grown over time and it would be useful to be able to split it up in to sub forums, therefore I'd like to be able to search for specific search terms then bulk select those results to be able to move to the sub forum. For example I used to have a forum called just workshop, I'd now like to split that up to have electronics, engine, appearance etc, I'd like to be able to search for specific terms e.g. 'ecu' and then bulk select all those posts and move to 'electronics'

Hi Guys - I'd love if there was a button in the Insert Other Media area, when replying to a post, that said Create Video Reply. This would enable people to create a video on the fly that used their laptop or phone cameras and upload it to the site. Rather than typing a reply, they can just create video reply without embedding something from YouTube etc... Video could be stored locally or uploaded to YouTube behind the scenes if the user enters their credentials in their user account. It would also be great if the uploaded video appeared like an embedded YouTube video, enabling people to just click play to see it rather than downloading an attachment etc... …

Hi, As far as I know, the search field in the \Helpers\Table\Db only uses the classic MySQL search. I added a RSS feed for example. It fed dozens of new threads into the selected forum category. What I need is to limit the amount of threads by each RSS feed in say a 6, 12, or 24 hour time frame. For example, maximum 3 articles in 24 hours. Here's an example from Vbulletin. You can see how the feed can check every x amount of time and the maximum items to fetch. I need this functionality.

If you click on an actual blog it will format the stats (entries/comments/views) correctly with {number="$variable"} but when listing all the site's blogs the template doesn't format the number and just outputs it {$blog->num_views}. We have blogs that have well over a million views and it looks ugly not being formatted correctly. Obviously I've changed our template, but I think this should be corrected at the template level for everyone using blogs.

We announced the 4.3 search improvements recently. If you have not had a look please read the news entry: One of the big changes was the addition of Elasticsearch as an option but there were improvements to search overall no matter what method you are using. Right now we are using normal MySQL searching along with the new interface and backend logic. Later this week we will enabling Elasticsearch. So I wanted to give everyone notice of this upcoming change so those of you who are heavy search users could compare the search experience now and then later this week when Elasticsearch is enabled. I seem to remember there being a way to send bulk mail via one method and everything else via a default method. Unless I'm missing a setting, I don't see that anymore. If guest posts require a moderator approval the system will send out an email to the moderators, or if a spam post is reported as such, the body of that post will be in the notification email as well. If that post happens to be a spam post with a spam link, SendGrid and SparkPost will likely flag your account as a spammer and shut you down. So I propose a different way around. @Lindy and @Matt I've seen you mention elsewhere on the forum that IPS Connect was retired in favor of OAuth; citing concerns over GPDR compliance issues. OAuth is not well suited for applications which run on the same site. It doesn't provide a feature set which would allow a developer to seamlessly integrate two applications together. OAuth was really designed with the idea in mind of linking together two applications which are running on completely different sites. Applications running on the same site do not run afoul of GPDR because GPDR rules only apply to sharing data with third parties. Please bring back IPS Connect.

Can we have the ability to edit warnings that have already been issued? Our moderators try their best at making sure the warnings are properly set before sending, but we're human and make mistakes. It's a bit much that we have to revoke a warning to make changes/add stuff to it later on and resend it.

Currently -> Requested -> Show these areas in order 1,2,3,4,5,6,7... This would help so much and facilitate basic designs. Of course, if we could split widget areas dynamically, be specifying split counts (= how many containers in a row), that would be even better, but the above solution would be a first approach to help us easily setup even nicer sites.

So, I appreciate that you allow club forums to be on the front page, but I think it can easily get to be a little much. In my test instance (which is an older copy of our live site), I see 23 club forums on the forums index page. 5 of them have very large descriptions serving as guidelines, and because those are in an Open club, they'd be visible to everyone on the site. All of those forums together makes the page height more than double what it was before. It'd be nice if you guys could add an option to limit how many club nodes show in the main site, or better yet, give us an option to whitelist clubs. I work for a non-profit religious organization that serves 600 congregations in North America. Once of the reasons we choose Invision to host our community engagement platform is the clubs feature. Our hope is that the leaders of our congregations will not only participate in our "open" forums, but create spaces for their own leadership teams using the clubs feature. With that in mind, there are two suggestions/features we would love to see added to clubs: The ability for club owners to re-order tabs, and The ability for club owners to limit permissions as to who can upload resources in a "files" tab. In ACP member management, there is a cool tool to hide all content or delete but I don't see an un-hide option....which would help with a situation where you hid all the content and want to go back and make it all visible in one shot. I saw a plugin, but fell it should be built in if you can hide.

I'm not sure if this is possible and we already have an image and video sitemap that generates when you have the gallery app installed. Is there a way to include image and videos that are uploaded into topics and not embedded, included in the image and video sitemaps or have an additional image and video sitemap using the the topic name, url, time stamp, video/image loc, etc.? I think it could really help with organic traffic and indexing media content, drawing more traffic from search.
