I had a crashed table, the task manager table. I got it fixed after a few tries but I am still getting a Driver Error.... I fixed it using the SQL toolbox in the admin control panel.... This is 3.47, I want to get this fixed before going to 4.1 Here is some logs from the SQL error log. Hello, I have a problem since yesterday. I do not know if this is related to the update that I did. I do not see the possibility to make status updates for everyone. When I look into the options group, I have "Can post status updates?" : OK (for all groups) but I need to turn this setting on each status individually for that we can post your status.

I have a lot of members since the latest security update to 4.1.4.1 and they are getting these issues 1. able to see new posts in forum i see notifications but no posts 2. i am getting notifications that member has replied to a post yet am not able to see latest addition not sure whats going on or how to fix this anyone else?

To be clear, I'm going to add all the provided robots.txt sample stuff into my live robots.txt. But 98% of our forums are member only and private. The other 2% are viewable by public but with no posting privileges. Nothing in the robots.txt can make the search engines see or index our member only content correct? It will just show the areas that are visible to guests by that permission set? Just verifying... Thanks!

1. We allow Guest in the forum. When Guest Post, it shows the prefix Guest from Guests Group. 2. In this example, The Guest name is XXXX. System automatically prefix with Guest XXXX. Then show that the person is from Guests group. 3. How to remove the Guest prefix (The red Square). Thanks.

Hi, We have a big issue here, users can't connect to our forums since about 3 hours ago and get an EX0 error. I have opened a ticket but I'm posting this here also. We need it to get fixed ASAP. IPS community, I would like to disallow the Import by URL option for Profile Photos: I was able to remove the options visually and comment parts of the code related to it in: applications/core/modules/admin/members/members.php and, applications/core/modules/front/members/profile.php but unfortunately this feature still seems to be available. Removing this feature visually does not satisfy my needs. I would like to have it gone completely (visually + systematically) How do I disallow this feature completely so the web server does not send a request to download the image for CORS reasons. Could I be guided into the right direction? Thank you…

Hi, There are no rel="next" / rel="prev" tags in paginated topics. In paginated forums these tags are existing. I don't understand why it is like that, but what and where can I add these tags to topics? Hi there. I wanted to get rid of some of the stuff next to the user name on the side of posts that's going to be nonsensically extraneous for my forum. (Some of this stuff I'm not even entirely certain what it's for, even after doing several searches in here (must be using the wrong keywords, which tends to be a problem with stuff like this) and am not finding any guides that seem current version of IPB specific.) I did find the area for Ranks inside the ACP, but it seems to just give me the option of adding new, editing the default options, or deleting them all. I was tempted to just delete them all, but I don't know if that messes up the formatting somehow? …

I just got 1000 users online on my own site. and i think something nefarious went on. Site didn't go down or go slow so it cant be ddos. but i checked the logs and they went to tons and tons and tons of WP pages. That obviously dont exist since this is ips. But they scraped tons and tons of urls looking for logs. Is this normal? do i need to be worried?

Hi Guys I can't update to 4.1.4. Whenever I try I get stuck at step 4 and the update gives me an infinite loop saying: delta upload processing...downloading....delta upload processing...downloading. Hey, I am trying to upgrade my forum to the latest Version: 4.1.4.1, I have uploaded all the files needed, on the forum I press 'Continue' and then I am getting an error: NO_STEP - applications/core/sources/Setup/Upgrade.php::line 210 elseif ( !method_exists( $this, "step{$step}" ) ) { throw new \BadMethodCallException( 'NO_STEP' ); } without the upgrade, the forum works just fine.

Hi! I would like to incert a member in a sentence in the "rules" section in a forum. Like this "for any concern pm >Blablabla<." And you should be able to click on a link leading to its profile. Is that possible? And also, I am creating members of my own as moderators, and they have "fake" emails. So any email sending to them will go out to nowhere. Is there any possiblity that I can make them go to my own email? Like I get a notice if someone Pm's one of the moderator account?

In an effort to curb spam, I put a limit of 5 posts per day that should have been removed after 1 day: I had a member who had already posted 20 times and had joined a week or so ago who complained that he could post only five times before he was shut down for the day. I signed in to his account and could see the same thing: he was unable to post more that day. So, is this a bug? Did I read this properly? Can others see the same thing on their site?

Hi, I'm currently setting up a test forum in a different root. I've already made sure the conf_global.php directs to the new URL and MySQL databases. I've had to manually set commands during the upgrade, which were all successful. However, I cannot get passed this error: Table 'DATABASE_NAME.cms_page_widget_areas' doesn't exist /home/***/public_html/pope/system/Db/Select.php::390 If I click "Retry?" or "Continue" I'm still redirected back to this error. Does anyone know what's wrong here?

1. I am on ubuntu 14.04. Testing upgrade to IPB 4.1.4.1 from 3.4.6 2. The numbers of Total Post, Total Members on my forum is shown as 123456 (IPB 4.1.4.1) instead of 123,456 (IPB 3.4.6) Note the missing comma Thanks.
