I'm doing this on my test website, What have I done so fair (seems to be working) 1. uploaded the system files that replaced the old. 2. uploaded nexus in applications PS, I'm running V4.1.5 Then in ACP applications, I click install the add-on "Commerce" went all good, apart from application is out of date and cannot be enabled until it is upgraded. Is there a quick way to take a normal date and convert it to MySQL INT. Long version... I'm trying to work out how to calculate a normal date in to INT (11 digit mysql integer). I have upload a heap of images from our old legacy site and would now like to change the date time on the upload to reflect their original submission date. The date in the database for img_date etc are all in INT such as "1447844152."

We have every IPB4 app installed and working already except for Pages and Blog... Now we want to add Blog (reactivated already) but the only download I can find is the whole suite, and inside that it's hard to identify what needs to be added for the blog to be installed - sadly, the guides and documentation for this is nearly ZERO (super disappointing IPB - it's like selling a new car without a manual!!!). So, anyone know how can we install Blog into our already functioning forum?

I just notice that hundreds if not thousands of my old members have been moved from Inactive Members to Active members after the upgrade. (My setup move member to active members with more that 5 posts - but before they actually had to make a post before the membergroup was changed) In 3.4.8 I used the Moved Inactive member app to move to inactive membergroup, but it seems like after the upgrade all members with more than 5 posts are moved to Active member without having posted or been at my site for several years. Is 4x working in a different way than 3x as groups?

Some of my users have asked whether they're able to change from using CKEditor to a basic reply box. In IPB3 there was an option to allow for users to change whether they wanted to use a CKEditor or have it just as a plain reply box and I can't seem to find that option available in the ACP. Is it still available or are users just going to have to live with using the CKEditor?

I really need to get an RSS feed for new forum topics and new blog topics. I could not find an RSS for all topics in all forums or an RSS for all blog entries in all blogs, but I see its possible to get an RSS from an activitystream, so this should solve the problem. However there is a bug in the RSS feed so the title of threads in the forum is not displayed in the RSS. I have reported the bug, but I cant wait for it to be fixed someday in the future. So anybody out there who know how to fix this problem with a quick code edit? Is there anyway to get the recent topics widget to display the date/time of the most recent post and recent poster rather than the original date posted and original poster? It seems silly to have them listed in descending order but have all different dates and not the current poster's name and avatar next to the topic title. I guess what I want is something akin to the recent posts widget but without listing more than one instance of a thread and not have any of the body of the posts. I have a question about the new Menu system in 4.1 and want to know if my menu is bugged. Whenever I try make custom menu's like this (regardless of theme) it will not put the menu items I want on the 2nd tier. So any custom menus I want MUST just be dropdown menus. Here is what I mean, I set up the menu and add submenus to the drop downs (and click publish) But then when I check the menu "Companies" there is nothing inside of it. So I have to resort to using drop downs on the top tier of the menu like this. I just don't feel that this is functioning correctly, as I have some default menus like Activity that do function correctly,…

I am hoping somebody out there has some suggestions or already has been through this type of problem and can help me figure this out... I am having trouble with a new, clean installation of 4.1. The installer checks are good, it takes my database credentials and then starts the installation and then just hangs up. No error message, nothing. My license and subsequent installer covers all components of IPB except commerce. I did try running the installer with all the components of my license being installed at once and also minimally with just the core components but either way it stalls out. It does not appear to write anything to the database as the data…

Some advice needed! There is one thing about IPB4 that greatly concerns me and I was hoping to inquire to see if you can help me figure this out. It's been awhile since we used 3.X but the last I remembered when there were reported or approved posts, there was like a little icon at the top of the forum that let you know something was reported. As well as there were a notification that was clearly stated that told you when there were unapproved posts.... However on IPb4.x I don't see any of these visual indicators? Several users has reported this and I also experience it on my iPad but not on my computer: When I start the browser and go to my site I get an old version of the homepage (I use all activity as startpage) posts displayed are old and and after a few seconds I get the "There are 56 new Messages..." bar. And when I click it the feed gets updated, but when I close the browser and restart I see the old page again. What could be wrong? Semms like some browser cache issue, but its stange that so many users experience the same problem.

I changed the admin folder location in the security settings now there is no way to change it again or revert in the security settings as the option has disappeared Where can I reset it?
