4.1 comes with Unread Content as default. If you release that as default, there is no way to save All Activity as default, and the quick link on the right (like on this site next to Mark site read) is empty. Saving it as default seems to be missing in admin. Seems like a bug, I can make any stream default except AA. Am I missing something? Admin should be able to set this. Thanks

Hi Multiple people complaining that the moment they post long posts it just disappears without warning when they press submit. Thus, they completely lose the post that they submitted. Currently running the lastest version of 4.1.x.x but had it on 4.0.x as well. Regards

When I put the code I have been using for years, from paypal for donations and securing donations, I end up having this problem. When people click on it, it tries to split it, and nothing happens.. try it here, http://clubadventist.com/forums/topic/63828-year-end-donations/ When I did the last upgrade, every new post was a poll, and I called in IPS and they fixed that. that is why I am suspicious that it is not the paypal code, unless others are getting that error. IPS says no, it is a paypal issue... there is nothing I can find in the code to split it, and why would it???? Thoughts

When posting media videos from facebook it creates a hyperlink instead of using the media bbc. Same with pictures. Also, I noticed emoticons do not bbc unless you select it from the emoticon menu. Example: : ) does not convert to a smiley face. www.youtube.com/video/39128mkhe3 turns into a hyperlink instead of inserting it into a www.imagelink.com/image/giraffe.png displays the hyperlink instead of inserting it into a [image]

1. Test migrating to 4.1.4.1 from 3.4.x 2. The side bar we have status that showed 10 (from 5) status update. This was done by status_sidebar_show_x = 10; 3. I changed it in 4.1.4.1 without effect. Still default 5. Where can I change it to 10. Thanks.

So I own about 70 different variations of my websites main name. Where can I/should I list these in the meta data so they work for me in terms of SEO? I'd also like to add the domains respective keywords into the metadata for SEO as well, is this all done in the same place?

Hello, is it possible to exclude certain forums from the search results? For example i have an "Off topic" forum and i don't really to fill up the search results with this content. So I am wondering if there is a way how I can define the searchable content? The only option i found so far is to exclude content by the last update time but not by forum. Does anybody has an idea? Hi guys, I'm trying to update my forums board to IPB 4.1.5, however the upgrader keeps telling me the 'system/Archive/Archive.php' file is not as expected. I downloaded the full 4.1.5 installer and uploaded the file again, but it keeps popping up. Any idea why this happens? Thanks in advance.

Is there any good way to have Facebook and Twitter login integration switched on, but not have it automatically pull in their display pictures from the respective social networks? My site revolves around a TV show, so we restrict people to only having avatars related to the show - and it'll be a hard rule to enforce if new users' pictures start being pulled in automatically.

Anyone finding formatting text on the iPhone almost impossible? If you copy and past large text into the editor and then want to resize the text to a normal size it is impossible to do it. When you select and highlight the text and then use the Font or Size in the editor to change the formatting it stops highlighting the text you want to change making it impossible to change. Am I missing something here? Is there another way to do this?

I have always thought the databases area of my Pages were underutilized, now I actually have need of this feature and I am sad to say I'm unsure of what to do. There is an option to upload a database when creating a new Database, so I was wondering if IPS could share their Database settings/setup with me? On the other hand, is there a tutorial I am missing that would walk me through building a Database from scratch in the current build of the App? If nothing else, I'd love to know how IPS managed the "Pending", "Closed", and "4.x.x" flags for the database records?

Running a WIKI, I have the "Store Revisions" setting set. I can see that the db Table: cms_database_revisions is populated with the changes, however I don't see any way where I can view the changes or revert them outside of the db directly? Is there a program which shows the revisions?
