1. Test migrating to 4.1.4.1 from 3.4.x

2. The side bar we have status that showed 10 (from 5) status update.
This was done by  status_sidebar_show_x = 10;

3. I changed it in 4.1.4.1 without effect. Still default 5.
Where can I change it to 10.

From your sidebar manager on the left (arrow)  Go to Recent Status Updates... Raise or lower to your liking then click Finish Editing (bottom left)

how do you activate the side bar? i'm struggling with the new software to find where stuff is and the search function doesn't seem to be helping much
