I thought there was a setting to control where the poster landed after commenting mid thread. Instead of being directed to their post at the end of a 7 page thread, is there a way they can return to the part of the thread that they either quoted or scrolled down and commented? Thanks.

When i get a attack DDOS my forum get this only when my forum get an attack ddos . When it's not attacked it's fine no error's... Can i make something to fix this ? only this error show to me when it's on an attack ddos. I can go in admincp no problem working fine ...

Hello, Just upgraded to 4.4. The first thing I noticed is the absence of text formatting in one specific sidebar box. Look by yourself at the ''ILS REVIENNENT TOUS'' box. Usernames used to be really vibrant and colorful (bold font, icons, etc.), to distinguish new members from moderators, etc. Now everyone is identical. The group title text formatting is still working fine on every other pages though. I tried to delete/restaure the sidebar box, without success. Anyone knows how to fix this? =| THANK YOUUU.

Hello, I would like to ask if there is a configuration on the ACP that will change the "Notify me of replies" to yes by default? Many new or even old members forget or doesn't notice to tick the box before they post a topic, then obviously without notification is like there is no replays even if there is. So i would like that everyone will get notified ( notification only by default ) when they make a post or a comment. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

Folks, I have a situation in my forum and I would like a help from you if you can help me ... Here in Brazil in date format is DD / MM / YYYY or DD / MM / YYYY and the dates in extensive "DAY of MONTH of YEAR", (April 7, 2019), for example. The default IPB is "MONTH DAY, YER", ie (APRIL 07, 2019). How can I change this in posts, topics? Using a database in Pages is an exercise in torture. Why is the Content field required? Is there a way to kill it, or at least make it optional? All I want is a link with a title. It's so simple, yet so impossible.

I had a user approach me about a problem he and his son encounter on our site. They use a shared computer and have different login accounts. When one is finished he logs out and the other attempts to login. This used to work fine but now fails. After logging out, when the alternative account details are entered the site does nothing then eventually comes back with a 500 or 524 error via cloudflare. If the user takes the extra step of clearing cookies from the site after he logs out, the other user can logon as normal. I was able to reproduce the issue myself using my admin account and a test account. We do have a constants.php but there are no cookie setting…

I must have old settings from before I moved to the 4.4 update and invision cloud hosting... When new people go to register as a member, the registration page looks bad by having them look immediately at the money grab upgrade options... Is there just a way to have them register and become a member? Could a follow up email automatically be sent offering them to "upgrade" to a premium membership at that time? What are everyone's thoughts on offering the up sell before they register? What about an automatic delayed "offering" 1 or 2 weeks later? What does everyone else have?

Hi, Is it just me, or does the POST functionality for /downloads/files not seem to work entirely? Looking at the source code of applications/downloads/api, there doesn't seem to be any reference to the object parameters of 'name', 'url', or 'size', which seem to not be functional at all. I've made no changes to my server or software. Nothing new added or updated. All of a sudden pics seem to be uploading sideways again. This was a huge pain previously and seem to get fixed. Recently upgraded two communities to 4.4.2 from 4.3.x and at the same time switched from php 7.0 to 7.3. Good day folks, I have been reading through the IPS manuals looking for an explanation of Reputations, Reactions, and Ratings. I am trying to figure out what actions give reputation points to a member? Is it the Reactions (like, sad, confused, happy, thanks) that give reputation points or is it the Topic rating stars? So I had my first member want to delete their account under "GDPR". I've never deleted an account before, I just don't like the idea of removing content but anyway... If I delete their account in admin, does it keep their posts? Am I allowed to keep their posts? What about IP information? I just think it would ruin the forum if I'm deleting members and all their posts, some of which have tens of thousands.
