Before we upgraded to the latest version of Invision, clicking on the topic title took you to the first post. That's the way it works here on this Invision forum. However, since the upgrade – or at least certainly since the last update, clicking on the topic title the last post. Is there some setting somewhere? Or do we simply have a glitch? Thanks

I changed from 7.1 to 7.3 and now I got: The error is in the mb_internal_encoding. public static function init() { /* Set timezone */ date_default_timezone_set( 'UTC' ); /* Set default MB internal encoding */ mb_internal_encoding('UTF-8'); Even going back to 7.1 the error persists. Over the years there have been many (many, many!) different ways of linking to specific comments. One way that used to work takes the form: {Base URL}/index.php?do=findComment&comment={comment ID} It is a tough one to map directly to a modern link because it doesn't have the Topic ID in it. I typically try to keep these old links alive by adding ModRewrite rules in .htaccess, and that particular older form was my go-to when the URL didn't contain the TID. So... fast forward to 2020, and v4.5, which no longer supports that style of link. Is there an equivalent? With the last few updates, my community's header image had become distorted and was larger than the header space. I reuploaded the logo using the uploader and now it's too small. It has been resized to 2000 pixels by 568 pixels yet remains the same size. Can someone please provide guidance on how to fix this issue? I hope this won't be a common occurrence with every update.

I'm trying to install AppServ-x64-9.3.0.exe On my local hard drive. I was able to install successfully and it created the folder c:\AppServ\www. I know about ending my license key with "-TESTINSTALL" at the end. But that's about as far as I got. I do have a few questions. MySQL - I understand I'm to make some changes in there. I have moved from Xenforo to IPS and which I have the full IPS suite including commerce etc. In XF I had donations and User Upgrades. A user could donate to the site costs and if their donation was $50 or more they would automatically be moved into a secondary usergroup called "First Class" with extra permissions for a 1 year duration. I have had donations from $10 to $1,000. In migrating the users, those users that were still current in their 1 year period of being in the First Class usergroup were migrated into the primary member usergroup with First Class usergroup as their secondary group...as they are in XF...interesting note though, in XF you can give a usergro…

Someone on my site went to Other Media --> Insert a stock photo and started typing racoon. After they typed just two letters ra a nude woman pic came up. Happened here too. I see in Giphy we can limit pics by rating. How do we limit Stock Photos? I do not allow any nudity on my sites. Thanks

Hello, My community has been accepted into the mobile application (communities by Inv.). However, clicking on the tab with the name of the community does not continue. It gets stuck on the white screen. Has anyone lived before and how fixed? I opened a ticket for 3 days and did not get any results from there; No one has even responded for the last 2 days. First, please excuse me reporting bugs here, my client area account is currently bugged and I can't submit support tickets do to my e-mail being changed and some kind of issue with the support desk software. In short, this is an issue specific only when uploads are being chunked. Non-chunked uploads do not produce the error. Hello, I wonder is there a proven and a good method that would take the RSS feed from recently posted articles on IPS Pages and post them automatically to Facebook and Twitter pages? If such a feature would have a scheduling feature it would be even more awesome. I mean like any articles that day posted before 00:00-12:00 would be posted on FB pages at 12:00 and any of them like from 12:00-18:00 at 18:00 and so on.

Hi, I wonder whether this is a bug or an issue with our particular install/plugins/apps. When we have a post that has been hidden and the "blurb" (motive field) has been provided, the ellipsis and the moderation checkbox are moved to the right. Could you guys check to see if this is also happening in other installs or if this is something particular to our install? Thank you in advance. Gabriel.
