I don't know what else to call it. I know we had a dozen simultaneous events across the country, and not a single person made the gallery work on mobile. Could there be a configuration for mobile uploads that go to a 'stream' or 'now' or 'current' option? So they select nothing. Maybe call it event mode, where between 6pm and 2am, mobile gallery uploads land in the same place in the simplest possible manner. ? Just throwing this out there.

Quality of Life Improvement - QoLI Store --> Billing and Purchases If I have pay and invoice are it is in pending stage after paying the invoice the word/tag could be place maybe near the button are grey out the Pay Now button so that the user will know that payment is on file and such. The button misleads users to think that even if it says Pending in small brown letters. I think some improvement to could be done in this area so it more pronouned to the user what is what.

Hello, i'm developing new simple app that show statistics and it's difficult to use \IPS\Helpers\Chart\Dynamic in front end every things work fine except javascript since this class use javascript that only load in ACP the same thing with other Helper classes that only work in ACP i think all helpers should be global and we can use them in front end and admin panel without limitations i hope there is workaround on this limitation for now

After months of struggle and confusion with the support staff, I realize that since Aug 2015 (6 months) my community has all new members notification turned off by default due to some upgrades that happen in 4.0.10 - 4.0.13. This is totally unacceptable that IPB take such decision and decide to give no option to admin to toggle it on/off. It's my humble request and product feedback here to please switch these notification ON (by default) and give admin an option to switch OFF. These notifications are the integral part of any forum software that I have ever used since 2002. It's because of these notifications, community members get an idea to participate or not …

I noticed that when Gallery only has 1 category set up, users are still asked to pick which category they would like to upload to as their first step in adding images to gallery. Why not skip that in this case since they only have 1 choice anyway? No need to present user with single option choice.

I keep seeing members asking how to give moderators/members ACP access. They don't know to click Administrators, since this is also the name of a group. Maybe: Change the top level wording from Administrators to Admin CP Access. (If you don't want to do that...) When you click Moderators, next to +Add Moderator add a button +Admin CP Access, which redirects to Administrators page. But option 1 is cut and dry.

Since IPS 4.X requires MySQL 5.X, why not start using some of its... features? They exist for very good reasons, can solve myriad problems, and in many cases are preferable to AND more performant than PHP-based solutions. What am I talking about, specifically? We used to be able to change a thread title from a list of threads by clicking on the thread title and making the change. Now you have to click a gear on the right and select that function, which is an extra step but not terrible. We should be able to change a thread title in a similar fashion from inside the thread. Right now to change a thread title we have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page (50 posts on my forum) and then find the gear, then choose the option, then go to a whole new screen to make the change. It would be great if we could just click on the title like we used to, or if a gear would pop up and allow us to edit it in-place like we do …

Due to our server setup the regular IPv4-adresses end up being prepended with ::ffff:. As this is a standard way to express IPv4 adresses in the IPv6-format. So IPv4-adresses in the community end up as ::ffff:103.230.104.13 instead of 103.230.104.13. However, this for example causes the spam service to miss hits. When I sent two manual spam service requests on the IP address above (one with ::ffff: and one without) the first one returned a spam code of 1, while the second one returned a spam status code of 4. On older versions such as 3.4, when you added images to your signature it would check the image for size (Height, width and general file size).. However in 4.* you can upload any size images to signature, using a remote url. I think this is really annoying, since i rather not have 5mb signatures or even wallpapers as signatures. At the moment, maximum size of signature is only uploaded files - which makes no sense since anyone can simply put a url link and bypass that. I did notice that it checks for height and width but not SIZE.

We have a option now to finally proxy remote images, however this could be quiet bandwidth draining to constantly download, then upload to client. Some other forum softwares, have ability to cache the images, where we can cache them for example one day, or a week. This would save a lot of bandwidth using it. Option to cache image, and set cache length. Also set max size for images to be served.

I'd like to see a default block for commerce that pulls like "Category 2 column image feature" Shows the article image but in this suggestion shows product image and product title only. Also a reference post is here for the articles suggestion similar to this one and has the screen shot of the Category 2 column feature.

Could you please add these sort filters to the Tracker? Forums has them for topics under Custom. I have a stream for my own bugs but it has NO information. Besides the bug that it does not list who last replied, it is just a list of the titles, my picture, no filter tags, no nothing. If we could sort in the Tracker I would see everything. Who last relied, if it is marked fixed, what version. As of now I have to click into bugs to find I already checked them, since I am using streams. Thanks PS. If this means Pages needs to be updated, please consider this a Pages suggestion and feel free to move.

Hi, we really would need a feature to prevent buddy liking. Maybe a setting to specify a maximum number of likes a user can give to the same person a day would help. All the daily/monthly/yearly reputation lists are useless in our community because of this problem. We've already set the maximum reputation points per day but this setting can't prevent this stupid buddy liking.

...as I learned yesterday. My site went down and it stayed down for several hours and I had no idea what happened. I opened emergency ticket and eventually the issue got fixed thanks to IPS support which I appreciate. However this whole situation could have been avoided saving my headache and IPS staff time had I access to cPanel. What happened according to IPS support was this: At this point we don't have any access to cPanel and there is no way to check what the current disk quota usage is. I've been told that the only way to find out is to open a ticket. That looks to me like a waste of of everyone's time. Something must be done to…

Challenge: For years the forum application has allowed users to follow any forum not matter if it was in an open forum or password protected. Invision removed this functionality in the last update. Back Story: When we started with Invision back in 2010 we were looking for two capabilities. The first is to have a generic forum to replace another forum platform we were using. When you view an image there is no share icon like with other content... Yes the share menu is at the bottom (of the main image page only) but the share icon is intuitive (from being on all other content) and also provides the share URL which the share menu bar does not. How about... And when you view different sizes the share menu simply disappears, yes you can right click the image but how about... (Shown as thumb size but with larger images makes even more sense to have both. Now, we have none.) And even in the lightbox, how about the share icon? You can view in lightbox, but not share.
