IPS Developers if you're listening - please entertain this idea for 4.4. - Being able to search for clubs via the search system. (not content within clubs but clubs themselves)The reason I ask is I want to build a site around hobbies and use the clubs system as the core focus of the site. Well I anticipate there being quite a number of clubs and manually searching through lists/pages of clubs for a specific club may become tedious. Would there be a way in which you could include clubs in the search results and approach this in a similar way to how reddit deals with finding subreddits within their search. I guess I shouldn't say "Silently" I really don't know if it was announced or not. I certainly didn't know. HOWEVER, I have had FTP storage options in my back pocket as something I know I may need. Now I am finally looking at this as my golden solution only to find it's not there. WHAT??? I feel upset about this. Come on IPS!!! Look at the before and after screen shots. Where is the FTP option?

Hi, I think it would be beneficial to show Upgrade options on the storefront, instead of expecting customers to locate upgrade options within the "Manage Purchases" module. e.g. Imagine all the packages in this group are somehow related, and are upgrade-able. This customer owns 1x of Package A and 2x of Package B already. This way its easier to see that a package can be upgraded. Currently it is hidden away in the Manage Purchases section, so we are using Discounts instead. The issue with offering discounts for purchases that should be upgrades, is that when you base a discount off a previous purchase, it applies to all future purchases. …

I would like to propose an idea for a future community suite feature, the support for free text QR code generation. If the community software supported this I could, for example; use it during the sign up process for bot control or allow members to use it to generate contact details. When/if the suite supports SVG it will be a nice addition to take advantage of it. I am sure it could be usefully used elsewhere across the community suite... Ted.

I'm waiting for my current batch of files to be uploaded to IP.Downloads, so I thought I would offer some general feedback in no particular order to encompass all aspects of IP.Download. Before I begin my feedback, I want to explain that I consider myself a "mega-user" of IP.Downloads, in that I have the arduous task of rebuilding my entire collection of files in v4 ... all 50,000 of them ... which means that I care about the efficient management of files on a large-scale basis. If you type a few paragraphs of text as a club description, it displays as a single block of text on the club index. If you edit it again, the paragraphs are still present.

I have used SparkPost since IPB introduced the API and I have never had any issues up until you wrongly (IMHO) decided to remove it. I feel that I am being punished because other people have had minor issues or because the development team had a bad experience with the Sparkpost developers. I tried using SMTP with my SparkPark post details, but this caused lag issues when sending out emails for notification etc (There was a massive lag when creating posts in a large topic with many followers or reply notifications) and this caused a lot of duplicate posts. I have a few forums that I keep some pinned topics in to help those new to the forum. For those forums that have multiple pinned topics, I want to set the sort order (still at the top of the list) instead of ordering by date. Could you add an option to moderate the order of pinned topics within a forum in ICS 4.4?

On the page of tasks itself, there is no button/link to display the logs from core_task_logs here. This (to me at least) seems to be something to consider adding here; as if for example you view your moderators and/or administrators page, you will see a link to view those logs. Same if you go to "Spam Prevention" one of the buttons will display the logs for that area. A lot of the suite quite rightly works like this. I do realise the cron/task logs are not an interesting thing for most to view but it does seem quite logical to have it on this page, limiting it to only showing the last 30 or so entries seems quite sufficient as anymore and there's always other m…

It would work like this: 💡 The Admin can allow or disallow this across the board, or he can allow Members to choose whether their signatures are visible to Guests. 💡 Also: The Admin should be able to decide whether signatures can be seen in the mobile site.

Having moved from vBulletin, where reports were posted to a hidden forum (allowing for prefixes, tags, etc.), our moderators are really struggling with the basis nature of the Reported Content section on IPB. For example, their first complaint was that you cannot search it. Also there's no way of seeing who posted the reported content without having to open the actual report - sometimes it's handy for them to see this quickly. It would be great if this area also supported tags/prefixes, so that we could use it to flag reports to certain staff groups (rather than individual moderators) and add other 'flairs' to the report titles. I'm interested in a specific forum whereby a person can ask a panel of people a question, however only the person and the panel of people can reply. Permissions to anyone reading would be set to read only. However to the person who started the thread, and just that person would be able to ask follow up questions. Do you think this is doable? One of my members made a good point. Warnings do likely create a negative feeling for members and reduce the likelihood that they will be reformed, high quality members. (which is already low)

There are 3 items clickable, maybe ips team thinking in give fast access to author profile, last post and first post of topic, but this design should be changed: 1. Disabled the author profile link, because the real think is many times we want to touch the topic title but finally touch the author link. Clickable so closely. 2. When touch the title should take us to the last post, not first post, because the frequency visit the topic after the first time is more than first time.
