I don't know where else to go with this. Basically I'm having a problem with my website, and IPB. some people can access it and some people get a load of CSS problems like images not loading and so on. Here are some of the things that I have tried to do:Adding them in a separate folder in the public.html and then sub-domaining and rediricting the main html and that worked for a little while but now its not working.Any suggestions please?

Good evening everyone. Let me start off by saying, EasyPost works as expected. But I have a few issues I can't seem to pinpoint myself, so I was hoping someone else knew how to fix this. In the attached screenshot you can see that, while it does give us the postage values. It cuts off the postage names, and doesn't show us the estimated times for all value. I tried to add a day in the configuration to see if it would change, yet nothing happened. I'm comfortable enough to poke around the code myself if someone can point me in the right direction!

Haven't upgraded yet so asking here... In 3.4 I have 2 PayPal gateways and 2 2Checkout gateways. This is how I was told by support to offer a dedicated recurring billing solution at checkout, so the user can choose PayPal or Paypal Subscription for example. In the gateway settings, admins can select "Enable PayPal Subscriptions Support" for PayPal and "Enable Recurring Payments" for 2CO and this sets the gateway up for subscriptions only. So when you offer the non-recurring and the recurring gateways the user has the choice. In 4.0 I don't see this. How is it handled exactly? And do I need to disable those recurring gateways for PP and 2CO? Thanks

I currently have a site that has evolved into quite the mess. It has about 85,000 members, but most of their details exist in two databases* other than IPB (but not other forum software listed on the migration page) . . . but the site ALSO features an IPB with some duplication/overlap. And was wondering how I could/should move forward with all that in the future less confusingly, probably continue in some fashion with the newest version of IPB, but also hopefully get everyone under one member database "umbrella," and then wondering . . . could I actually just get IPB to do everything I need to do here? It would really be awesome if I could. And I'm imagining it's proba…

I am probably missing something... A regular member started a conversation with me. I invited to that conversation 3 other moderators. Now I want to remove them from the conversation but I don't have this option available when clicking the small triangle beside their names. The only thing available there is to send a new message. I note that your tool to write .htaccess-files doesn't write one to the plugins-folder, like it does to the datastore and uploads-folders. I was expecting it would write one to the plugins-folder too. Is there any particular reason this is not done? Should it be protected with the same rules as the datastore-folder? I'm not sure if the hooks.txt-file contains information that should not be read for instance. I see it's heavily obfuscated, but still wondering in case someone should be able to unobfuscate it for example

Hey guys, I hope I'm in the right forum. I have a problem with importing my live database to my test location. It is the same server, just a subdomain, so all requirements are met (and both are running von version 3.4.8). What I did was the following create database backup (tried phpMyAdmin & MySQL Dumper)freshly installed 3.4.8uploaded my custom skin, activated, recached and so onimported the databaseNow my problem is that all buttons are missing their text or e.g. the stats in the forums are missing. I can browse my forum, all the topics, as a guest. But as a member/admin, I can't view any single topic... They are all blank... I can't even make an announcement, as that page is also blank... I can access the AdminCP though. Is there anything I can do, until the IPB support guys give a reply to my ticket? OMG! Guests are not allowed to post at my site. But googlebot just found a page that was throwing an error: So I went and checked out the page and saw this. This is where you show makeup looks, so the post sounds innocent enough. BUT, there was also an email address box and capchita for a guest to post! And you can see this without being logged in. Now I did do the group bug edit. But can it be undone since there is a database query that had to be ran with it?

hello, I am new to IPS, am experinced with wordpress but have never had to fiddle around with the FTP like we have to do here. So for the last few hours i have been trying to install an application for my site, mainly the portal application. I have Downloaded the file, unzipped it, located the "uploads" , copied the contents into where i feel is the correct place via FileZilla. What is meant by the Forum Root? the very first place in the directory for my site? or a certain forums folder deeper within? I tried to search for a thread about this here, but couldn't find anything. When a guest or any other member uses my regular search feature, the results they get show them an overly generous excerpt of each post on the results list, even if those posts are from forums the searcher does not have permission to access. This is not good, because upper permissions are being violated by the searcher being able to read up to 3 lines of text in those excerpts. How can I make it so that only the titles (without excerpt) will show for results? Or, how can I make it so that posts from a subforum one does not have permission to view don't show on the search results at all? Thanks…

I am working on a modification to my board that will ping an external API with two values (a username and verification token) which are provided by the user during registration. If these values are correct, the external API returns "1" and then refuses to accept the verification token again, returning "0" on any future attempts to use the same token. If the values are incorrect, the external API also returns "0". I have added custom validation code to handle this.
