I upgraded my forum to IPB4 a while ago but we weren't satisfied because of all the bugs IPB4 had. Because of that we decided to downgrade to IPB 3.4.X with a backup. (database and all) But now we wanted to try to upgrade again to IPB4 but unfortunately the upgrader isn't working as it should work. Please look at these images. When we click on the convert url, this happens: But when you click ''proceed'' it will redirect you to the log-in page of the upgrader and that happens all over again. OK, I've looked and looked and haven't found the place to put in a custom media BBcode. On my XenForo sites I can add custom media BBcodes direct from the ACP. Does IPS 4 not have that ability? What I'm trying to do is emulate what I did with SpotWalla on my motorcycle site but using map my ride for bicycles. The result would be similar to when you paste the youtube link, but it would show the map in an iframe. Is this another one of those things that you have to create an add-on to get IPS 4 to be able to do?

On my website I have a custom sidebar block that shows the status, channels and users in my TeamSpeak 3 server. It seems to not refresh unless I press Cmd + Shift + R (using Google Chrome on a Mac) to force a page refresh. For example, I might load my site, it'll show 2 people in TeamSpeak and then 2 hours later I know they've left TeamSpeak and I open my website and it still shows them there but they disappear when I force the page to reload. When I created the custom block in AdminCP I left the caching option turned off for that block. The re-cache time for other sidebar blocks (recent topics, forum stats, etc.) is set to one minute. I have offering Supporting memberships to members of our community but would like to make changes to the page for individual products, in the Store. Membership types are illustrated with an image, i.e. not a product photo etc, and I would like to just display the product image and not show/enable "click or hover to zoom..." The abbreviated two lines of the product description is displayed under the price. As the full description is displayed just underneath, I would like not to display the excerpt. So I set the max upload on my server to 50mb and uploading files of 50mb works just fine, however, if I try to upload several files(that I believe equal over 50mb altogether) after submitting the page it'll take a while to load and then just show a white screen. I believe this is either being caused by NGINX's keepalive not being long enough or that IPDownloads is trying to submit all the files as one combined one?

i am seeing various styles urls for attachments / links in my post table post field: Examples and in some cases the site URL? what should be the proper url for the links? and shouldn't internal links if someone copies and pastes a link to another post shouldn't the url be replaced with the abstract string so that should the url change or or the path change then the embedded links would continue to work?

Our Downloads section seems to be acting oddly. In the file description post (for example, HERE) we have CAD plans of guitar designs for download. The written description has an uploaded image which is embedded in the middle of the post. After editing three of these posts, these upload/embeds all seem to be linked for no apparent reason. In the link shown, the correct image is mid-post. Great. However, below the body of the post (after the CC licence) a second image is shown as an uninserted upload. Hi, trying to convert my old vb 4.2.2 forum to ip board 3. Converter stucks at "topics" permanently. After a while, at around 130K (from 150K) I got a white blank screen, and nothing happens. I tried to repair the SQL table (vbulletin_thread.sql) with phpmyadmin -> same I imported the SQL table 2nd time -> same I set the amount of rows to 1K per cycle -> same I exported SQL table from old server a few days later, imported it -> same Much bigger table "vbulletin_post" seems to work. Any ideas how to fix it?

Hi guys, How would I allow users to embed an external PDF file? I have created a new button in the toolbar section, which works for me as admin, but not for normal members. The code used is this: <iframe src="http://docs.google.com/gview?url={option}&embedded=true" style="width:600px; height:500px;" frameborder="0"></iframe>The result for me as admin is the actual PDF inserted into the popup, but for normal members the source is stripped from the content, leaving only an empty box. I have seen the ""Advanced configuration" setting, but unsure how to use it with this... Any ideas?

I have a database with 2.5 million posts and the posts table is 12GB. The core_cache table is now 50GB and growing. Is this supposed to be like this or is it a bug?

Is there a plug-in for IPB 4.0 that will present a splash page when a visitor arrives at the website? For example, if the site hosts adult content, then the splash page could provide an "Adult Content Warning" and present the user with 2 choices (such as"ENTER" or "EXIT") if the user agrees with the terms of the splash page. If the user selects "ENTER", then the page disappears, and the user automatically is sent to the website. If the user selects "EXIT", then the user can be directed to an alternate URL, such as "Google," "Yahoo," etc. Thanks in advance for your response!

I have written a Task which is running all 5 min, since the change isnt executed yet, i guess i have a small error in my script. I logged the log from uploads/logs/latest.php, but i cannot find any hint there. Is somewhere a log for that? Or how am i able actually to debug into this? Regards

I'm trying to test an upgrade from IPS3 to IPS4, and would like to change my URL from whatever.com/forum/ to beta.whatever.com in the process. I've tried changing the address in conf_global.php, both before and after running the upgrade, but both methods lead to the same bug – after the upgrade, all CSS, images and JS files will fail to load, and the frontend source code shows that it's trying to load these addresses from an address that's like "http://beta.whatever.com/http://whatever.com/forum/uploads/", which obviously fails. So in general terms, my question is, how can your change your community's URL in IPS4, and have all of the cache and stuff update correctly?

Hi, I decided to convert all tags to lower case letters. Already activated the option to "Convert all tags to lowercase" but it seems that did not convert.
