I just recently upgraded to IPS4 and realized that none of the member's signatures are appearing. I cannot even find where to add a signature in the Profile section. Signatures are enabled for the groups. Am I missing something?

Hey, i just created a template for the reasles notes, but i notice that the followercount is not working correctly, this is the way i included the follower: {template="follow" app="core" group="global" params="'cms','categories' . $database->_id, $database->_id, \IPS\cms\Records::containerFollowerCount( $database )"} It does show me actually that im following the content, and additional when i click the number im getting a pop up with the followers. I couldn't find a documentation regarding templates like this. What did i wrong in that case, and what should have been the right way? Regards

Hi all I was wondering is there a way to add promotional banners to specific forum sections, rather than globally adding them across the forum. The reason I ask, is because I have traders that sponsor specific forum sections, so I don't want to mix other traders banners with their own. IIRC this was a feature available on Nexus 3.x? Was it removed or is there a new way of doing it? Thanks in advanced Steve

Hi, is it possible to exclude some categories from board total statistics? I have a category where RSS import posts automatically new content, and it increases posts and topics count. I'd like to esclude this category from the total count, otherwise I have to empty it after a certain period. Is there anyway to do it? Thanks Alex

Hello, I've got some problems with adding URLs / additional pages to the menu. My menu, in its basic form, looks like this: Pages - Forum - Gallery - Calendar However, when I create a custom item (external URL or page) in ACP > Pages > Menu, instead of looking like this: Pages - Forum - Gallery - Calendar - Ext URL - Etc. - Etc. it all looks like this: Ext URL - Forum - Gallery - Calendar Simply: the basic menu items disappear and custom items replace them (or cover them) one by one. How can I fix it so the custom menu items would be simply added at the end of menu bar? Thank you in advance.

Hello, We have an old phpBB board that we want to dump and convert over to IPB 4. So we have had a HUGE amount of issues on the way, one wich involve Collation. Important Note: We are Swedish and thus write mostly in Swedish on our board. So what we need to do is first install IPB 3.4.8, Convert phpBB into IPB 3, and then upgrade it to IPB 4. At the upgrade part it dose NOT ask to convert database and somehow ALL Swedish special letters like Å Ä Ö gets ed up, as seen below. Now, the phpBB is in utf8_bin and when I install IPB 3 its done in utf8_unicode_ci. And it works, no errors or even wierd letter replacements for Å Ä Ö. But as soon as I upgrade to 4.0.11/12/12…

When you upload images to a post, normally or inserting them or external links they show in the post full size, which can be quite big, a lot of scrolling to see 5-6 large images. Is there an option to limit their size?

Hi, twice under version 4 the table structure has changed requiring me to modify the SQL query in the attached php script, the most recent change has me stumped as I'm not able to find where the "Group names" are stored like they were prior to the change. The only table I can find them in is "core_sys_lang_words" however I don't know how to use this to create the query linking the information together (I'm not a programmer) I've tried support and you can imagine what they said. I run this script as a cronjob, essentially it grabs members of a group, purchase date information (expiry dates etc) and inserts it into another database I have. I'd really appreciate some assista…

Hi, I don't know if I have translated the widget's name correctly though I think everyone knows which widget I am talking about. I think this plugin is not working properly. It always shows as if I were the only one browsing "downloads" app, which is not possible. Moreover, if I open "who's online" and go to any of the sections that any user is visiting, it shows the same, no one but me. Is anyone in this situation? Regards, Ibai

I have tried the commerce in demo version and liked it quite well, but stuck with a situation that it is not accepting paypal credential and not showing any payment method. Is it coz of demo version or some bug in demo or actual commerce for IPS4....?

I moved my community database over to a test directory to install ipb 4 and now I want to move my forum back to my /forums/ dirctory but I get an error when I change it both the directory name and in the conf_global.php. Anyway to fix this? I get this error when I try changing the domain back to /forums/ "Fatal error: Class 'IPS\Dispatcher\Front'"

Anyone ran into this problem yet? I've searched around and haven't seen. I'm trying to move my community to IPB 4.0 but getting stuck on the UTF-8 conversion process. My community has about 1.6m posts and the converter gets stuck on the "Processing posts" part. I don't know how to get around this. I've actually checked the database, and it seems it has converted all of them, but the converter still says its processing them.

In Version 3 I could re-send validation emails to all those awaiting validation (listed in the same page). It looks like Version 4 only allows me to re-send validation emails one user at a time. Am I missing something?

I don't why my forum pro-ucheba.com were so slow... My server time response is about 2000 ms! But, the same forum on the same hosting online-ege.com is about 50-60 ms! (duplicate all same files and database from pro-ucheba.com, sorry IPS for this, it's for testing, and you are didn't help me with that problem...) I don't understand why such difference between similar sites...

I have a database (no categories) set up to display records as articles. It's added to a page to make a simple directory of sorts and I'm happy with that for now. I'd like to be able to mark certain records as Featured and promote them to display on the front page, *exactly as they do on the records-as-articles* page. This seems like an obvious choice for a feed plugin and it *almost* works except that it appears that feed plugins use the listing group template. I get errors if I try to use a different template group such as normal featured article template. I'm at a loss as to how to create a "listing" template that works as the 'records-as-articles' templates do, with …

Hi there, All my old post's links are broken. None of them have a "href" so they point to the same page. Is anyone having the same issue after upgrading to 4.0.x? I upgraded from 3.4.x to 4.0.11. Any script to rebuild every link? Example: http://www.fmsite.net/foro/forums/topic/76720-2º-reto-dmc-the-dreamer/ http://www.fmsite.net/foro/forums/topic/72318-kits-fb-temporada-2014-2015/ As you can see, old links miss their HREF tag. Am I the only one?
