I want to post a link that takes the user to: "steam://connect/oxidenetwork.com:27016" but the editor always makes the link "null". I was looking for the button that says "source" but that doesn't show up when I go to edit database entries but it does show up when I make WYSIWYG blocks. Is there some way I can get "source" to show or even better some way to make that link work properly?

I thought it used to be that your moderator group could see IP's of posters, but not of that admins. It looks like in 4.x they can see the admins ip's as well, is there a setting to change this?

Hi there, I've just upgraded to IPS4 and I'm having an issue using the advertisements function. I've put in one of my Adsense banners (which works on another site I run) in to display after the first post. The code is showing when I view source, the page has cleared the space, but the ad is not displaying - see here for an example http://www.weareperth.co.uk/wapforum/index.php?/topic/24212-celtic-v-saints-sat-29th-aug/ Any ideas how I can fix this? Hello, I'm going to be attempting to bridge together a custom CMS and our V4 forum soon, and have been looking at the IPS Connect documentation. It mentions using GET parameters and returning status codes. I'm a very visual learner, and I was hoping someone could take a quick moment to write out some quick example code for simply communicating with a master IPS Suite and making sure the custom application successfully connects? From there, I will be able to reference the documentation and follow along better... I just need to see how something basic is done and I can apply it from there (after brushing up on my PHP a little bit). It would be greatly appreciated!

Once I converted to 4 and upgraded to a new server with oodles of RAM and SSD drive and have the database and site on the SSD I switched to memcache, and everyone was pleased with the speed and snappiness of the site. But the past week or so the site has been very sluggish and sometimes unresponsive or takes forever to load, I turned off memcache and went back datastore. And that seemed to bring the site back to tolerable speeds. What could be the cause of this slow down using memcache?

Hi all, I'm trying to add custom user fields to the Postbit / Message area, but I cannot find an option for it - only for it to show on the profile? I get an upload error when trying to upload an image. It was working fine before and when I moved servers it stopped working. The datastore folder directory address is fine and the folder is chmod to 777 (and all files and folders inside as well). How can I fix this issue/what could be causing this?

I just purchased the Gallery add-on. I re-download the complete suite to get the "gallery" folder from the "applications" folder. I then uploaded the "gallery" folder into the "applications" folder on my server. Went to the back end, Installed it, checked permissions, seemed fine, went to the front end, it showed up in navigation bar, but when I click on it, I get the following message: Anyone know how to resolve this issue? Thank you in advance for your help. UPDATE Gallery now working. I guess it was not working because I still had "Designers Mode" enabled. Once I disabled it and it synced the theme back, it started working!

I have a News forum fed by Google News RSS feeds and I want the topics automatically moved to a Discussion forum when someone replies. Thanks! CB

As far as I can tell there is no working system for limiting or downsizing images that users upload to the gallery. I've set limits in both the gallery and posting sections of the admin panel and it is still saving full-size user images which are going to cause me to run out of storage a lot faster than I otherwise would. We need controls for user image uploads, detailed ones that allow us to specify max size stored, and max resolution stored (the script should be able to reformat and downsize images before storing them, and discard oversize originals). Thanks.

I just found out that we have a large number of spam (horrible ones) deep into the history of our status updates (from years ago). I can delete them one by one but it will take a long time. Is there a way that I can mass moderate them? Thanks
