Hi, I am developing a custom login handler, according to this document,https://community.in...n-handlers-r97/. I create a plugin called "example", with an "example.php", which extends\IPS\Login\LoginAbstract. But I don't know how to access my new login handler. I want my game players to visit the forum with their game accounts. We embed a link in our game, with an url to access my custom login handler. I'm trying to call several forum ID's in the forumTable template. The attributes that are available are "$table" and "$rows". In my ACP there is a message alert "Locked Tasks" and a list of processes with the suggestion that I need to run these manually. I have never seen this alert before and I am totally unaware of ANY of these tasks --- most seem to relate to parts of my site that are not even in use like Commerce, etc. I am reluctant to try and "run" these tasks because I do not understand any of this. Any advice or info on this would be appreciated. I did submit a support ticket with IPS but have not had a response yet.

I am not planning to do this anytime soon but would like to get an idea in advance. If I change my domain name will I be able to easily change a setting somewhere and have every thread in the old domain name 301 redirect to the new domain name with the same paths? Naturally this is to retain SEO. I own both domain names.

Hi, In 3.4.x it was possible to show users' warning level in the topic view for each poster. It was located below the user rank. Is it possible to show this again in 4.0? It was quite useful for moderators. Thanks!

I set Activity Stream so that no one can see it and I disabled it, but it still displays in the More drop down. If I click it I see: The page you are trying to access is not available for your account. To configure who can access which areas of your site, go to Admin CP → System → Applications. I logged in as another regular member and see this: The page you are trying to access is not available for your account. Error code: 2S100/2 How do I remove it from the menu?

When inserting the code provided by Vimeo into the editor for my pages articles it will not scale properly for responsiveness. Do I need to add some code before/after the code provided by Vimeo? I can't simply copy the "www.vimeo.com/36448" because I need to edit the code as the video is not 16:9 and I need to edit the container to get the proper aspect ratio. Best, Stig

earlier I was on self hosted and I never had a issue sending say 40,000 emails using mandrill app Recently I shifted to cloud hosted and whenever I try sending bulk email - It stops on sending around 200/ 3000 emails .... Regards Saurabh

Is it possible to find and use the position of a record in an array to then use the data stored? At the minute I could do: {{foreach $records as $record}} However that is of course all records. What I want to do is use the first record in the array in some way, then use the other records in another way.

Hey, We've got a database setup as well as having templates for that database working, and we're looking to include a Google Map on the record pages. The map's co-ordinates will be dynamic for each record listing, and will need to pull through the lat and lng from our database in order to achieve it. This would be an easy task if the code we needed the fields on were in our database templates, however it's a piece of javascript that belongs in the GlobalTemplate file, so I can't just use the regular line that grabs a database field in the database templates, as the GlobalTemplate file doesn't know which database to grab from. I want to setup an external login for my IPB 4, setting up multiple different areas of the site and I want them to all share the same login. I had files and knew how to do this with IPB 3 but obviously they no longer work with IPB 4 mainly because the files like ipsregistry and ipscontroller are no longer in the same place.
