We are trying to move our login system on our game server to use the oAuth API for logins. Does anyone know the best practice to use this? For example, we have a C# login server which checks tables for certain items, then we apply it to our player save file. Although, we use a custom C# .DLL to invoke a browser on the client side, then it receives a token and sends it to the login server.

Here's what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to make an app in Google App Script, and then embed the app in an iframe on my IPB site. I want to have my site's Chatbox in the Google App. This means I have to embed it in an iframe. Doing that requires that seems to require I whitelist Google to be able to embed my site. Is that so? And if so how / where exactly do I do that? Is this even possible? (Rough to be asking at this point, I'm already dozens of hours into developing this app, and should've seen this coming. Learning lessons lol)

So I switched from Vbulletin 4.2.2 to IPB. I succesfully got the DB imported and so on. But all the BB codes are not working, I basically get all the BB codes on all topics without functioning. I guess BB code doesn't workin IPB. Is there a plugin/extension which will make all the BB codes work? Otherwise tens of thousands of my threads are unreadable because they are full of BB code inside the thread.

Hello all, this may seem like an odd thing to want to do, but I need to be able to purge all members (quickly and easily), while keeping all posts intact from a message board that has upwards of 250,000 members and maybe upwards of 10,000,000 posts. The reason for this is because a major sports franchise is discontinuing their message board at the end of this month and they've agreed to hand the database over to me, but only if all users are purged first (privacy concerns). Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. I get this error above everytime I navigate to any part of my forum, to any section or thread. I did rerwiting urls in Manage Conversions and now I can't access any section of the forum. What can I do? I cleared system cache and I tried running the support thing.

I'm looking at finding this modification which is shown below: I think its a custom profile field, when I registered on the site above it asked me which team I supported. For example the person above chose Leicester City as the team they support so now on every post they make in their profile field the clubs crest is show. Appreciate some SQL help as I intend to filter members based on one of the field but being that field is multi option so I can't filter members from Admin CP. How can I set up a thread where only the OP can continue to update the thread with new posts? I can only think of making a new forum and give that person a specific group designation that have posting rights but denying it to the rest. Is there a way to do that for just one topic for one specific person in an otherwise "everyone can post" forum?

I am using the latest Invision Community Version 4.4.10 and V3 Invisible Captcha protection for signing up new members. During a recent sign-up test, I discovered that although all credentials are provided correctly, the message "You did not pass the security check. Please try again." is triggered. The Captcha symbol is shown in the lower right corner of the screen, it seems to load correctly. The registration can be completed by just pressing the "Sign-Me-Up button" a second time. Like 5 years ago i turned on (or is was default) on the pages databases: Post topic: Post a topic to the specific forum each time a new record is added. And Comments: will be posted as replies. If you change the way comments are stored, your existing comments will no longer be displayed. Comments are not copied to the forums or to the internal comments database if you change this setting. Well that was not a good idea, i have double content from page articles to the forum. Also with the reactions between these. I want to change this for NEW pages content. Hey there, quick question. I am having a little trouble in my admin panel. There are several instances where I try to save settings by disabling a certain option that is swatched on, yet when I save and go back... it's enabled again. Is it application/plugin-related? So I've managed to use a number of Marketplace plugins to get a Pages database to behave essentially like a wiki. But I wanted to edit the template to look more like a wiki. Specifically, I want to move the author tag and reword it. So instead of "By Jane Doe on x y z" at the top left, I would have "Last edited by Jane Doe on x y z" at the bottom. Less focus on the author, and also emphasizing that it was an edit, not a post (as I have wiki-style editing enabled.) How could I achieve this? A custom Pages template?
