Is it possible to remove members for the list of those 'following' a topic? I have some members following topics from years ago, there details aren't up to date so every time someone posts in the topic the forum tries to send them an email notification which fails. Is it also possible to set topics so that they can't be followed? The particular topic in this case is a 'container' for other sub-topics.

Hi, So, I updated my community today. One thing that I think I might be missing... In the downloads app, files are not shown on the root category. That is, when I click on a category directly, no files show up from the sub categories we have. Am I missing a setting somewhere? :/ Thanks, Zack

1. I am on ubuntu 14.04. Testing upgrade to IPB 4.1.4.1 from 3.4.6 2. The numbers of Total Post, Total Members on my forum is shown as 123456 (IPB 4.1.4.1) instead of 123,456 (IPB 3.4.6) Note the missing comma 3. What to do to get back the comma. Thanks.

Hi when users sign into my site on a computer they are remembered so next time when they visit they are already logged in. However, when on a tablet/ mobile device it doesn't seem to remember if a user is logged in and so users have to log in each time. This is frustrating my users, so is there are way to fix? Thanks

I have been banned so many times by your firewall because I'm trying to access my OWN site via ftp filezilla, it seems despite using a FTP only connection request it still requests TLS sometimes and instantly bans me, this is SO ANNOYING.

So I'm getting the following error during my upgrade and unable to proceed with the full upgrade/installation: Some of the files were not as expected. They may have been manually modified or not uploaded correctly. /home3/ohiocannabis/public_html/forums/applications/core/extensions/core/Queue/DeleteOrMoveContent.php Looking into that specific directory of the download (which I've downloaded twice now) that file does not exsist? Anyone have any idea on why or what to do or where to get the file?

I run IPB4 (latest version) and want to show chat room history to new people joining the chat. I thought settings allowed this (see screenshot). But when someone logs in, no recent (previous) chat posts are shown. If I log out/in myself (as an admin), I also come to an "empty" chat room. Please advice/comment, should it not be possible to keep previous chat messages for some time and let newcomers to see previous messages?

I can't seem to find the RSS feeds to my articles, I am running the latest version of 4.1 and I can't seem to find anything about it. Is there a setting which requires enabling or is it template related?

Hi people. Sorry for the 100 questions. My experience in anything Web related is limited. First off - I have finally got my site open so thanks to those who helped previously. The problem is I have selected IP Pages to be my default, but now my forums become /index.php/forums (I installed the IPB software straight to root rather than /forums/ as it will be my only content on the site - was that right?), is there a way to do away with this? Please see www.findyourselfuk.com. the first page is a custom IP Page as index, the forums then go to /index.php/forums/....... Can it not be pages as the default them forums go to findyours…

Hi After looking around for a host I think I have found one. After speaking to the sales team, I asked them to check the requirments of IPB with their requirements. He assured me all was well except for the fact they do not run on Suhosin but they on fact run on suphp. I am not a technical expert by no means. Will this affect my ability to have a 4.1 IPB forum uploaded or not? Karl
