Do I have as Administrator an ability to receive notifications about when someone replied to any Member status update? Sometimes it may be sensitive or prohibited content so I need to know about every message in statuses to provide clean conversation.

Morning y'all! Apparently the reported content icon at the top of the forum front end is supposed to show a count of reported items, when there are some, similar to the notifications icon showing when there's followed content viewed or the private message icon telling us how many PMs we have unread. I say "apparently" because I've never seen it happen. I'm only aware of this because I recently elevated someone from moderator to admin status, and she said after her role changed she stopped seeing the report count. Folks have so much trouble uploading content to my site. Between the dreaded -200 error, and other "cannot upload" issues it's really getting some folks frustrated. Each time this comes up someone jumps in and says "it's probably your server settings" Before we jump right to that again can we consider for a moment that maybe there is something else going on? For example I offer the following to consider. I tested other software on the SAME server, with the same settings and there are no upload issues. Does anyone else see this? I submitted a support request as well. Hi, when I take a look at my master sitemap "topics" entries, there appears to be only 510'ish topics listed per parent entry. There is a new parent entry created every 7 days exactly with no recent topics included, after that date. From what I can tell topics are not included until every 7 days (so the sitemap may be out of date by up to 6 days). This seems odd or is a bug since we have more like 600+ topics a week (~90 a day). I've just moved my Invision Community (v4.4.6) to a new hosting platform, based on the LiteSpeed server. Everything appears to be running correctly without the need for any tweaks and I just checked this forum to see if anyone else has experience of running IPB under LiteSpeed. Mostly what I found is the support team saying that LiteSpeed is non-standard and therefore any problems experienced are to do with the hosting platform and not with IPB. That worried me a little and I wondered how seriously the Invision Community team are taking LiteSpeed, which in my experience is rapidly gaining critical mass in the hosting sector. Dear Community, I have Wordpress SSO needs. I would appreciate guidance on the best way to proceed, as in whether I need a plugin or SSO support from IPS. So I ask the group if they know anything about this Over the past few weeks I've noticed something odd about the "activity" tab/page. When I try to load earlier content after scrolling to the bottom once the page updates it puts me at the very bottom of the added stuff, whereas before my experience was that my view would stay in a fixed location while the added stuff would get tacked on below. The old way made it easy to keep scrolling back through a long chain of new content without losing my place, whereas now I whenever I try to load in another screen worth of stuff I have to scroll back up find where I was or else miss a bunch of stuff. The forum logs users via Single Sign On through a WordPress site. In other words they already find themselves logged in if they have an account on the WordPress site in question. I wish to remove the following options from the Account Settings page on my forum since they serve no purpose at this point. If the user wants to change them he can already do it in his WordPress account. I wish to hide/remove the clickables that are in a red square from the Account Settings page.

I tried importing arguably too many images into a gallery and now all image uploads, including things like trying to upload profile pics, now fail. I've cleaned out cache, have plenty of free Linux disk space, and I even deleted that gallery, but I'm wondering is there something else I can do such as cleaning out a particular folder in the file structure? (if so, I am not sure where to go. I saw the successful uploads in ./uploads/monthly_2019_09 but trying to clear those successful uploads from that batch for the gallery I deleted out didn't make any difference) One weird thing is I can upload pics, if the pics were already previously uploaded! Does anyone else have such a big problem with bots and spammer accounts to where it's unbearable, even with trying to combat it? Maybe I am overlooking some things that can help, but it was so bad on one of my sites that I just turned the site offline and I am the only legit member on the site. lol. With me being the only real member, I noticed the ids for the member accounts are in the 9,000s. So that is how many spam accounts kept joining. The biggest issue lately is also the Contact Us form. When I get the new member registration notification email, I get a listing of multiple fields, but not all of the ones that the member fills out have the answer, I'm fairly sure that it's the custom fields. The weird thing is that the display name, email and IP have the label and value, whereas the first name, and other custom fields only have the label with no data. Thoughts? Thanks

When creating a blog post, there is an field called Album. This says: But how does this work? When i click on it, it has not albums, and i can't sellect an album. Ideally, i would want a list of specific albums to show up here, depending on the blog, so that the images posted along with the post, also get posted on the gallery (or maybe visa versa). Any tips or ideas to get this working right?

Facts: Our dev (Wojtek) made a new test DB which is copy of current Opinions base. He set at xml field Model (which is related db) as title, and it... works! (it show field type: address, not a related db but its detail). So it can work for sure.... We have problem now to - find this xml (we don't see it on ftp), and upload it for non test db. I'm starting a fiction site and need members to be able to post stories with chapters, and for readers to leave comments on each chapter. Two options I'm looking at are: 1) Pages - Each story is a category, chapters are pages, and readers can leave comments at the end of each page. 2) Blogs - Each story is a blog, chapters are blog entries, and readers can leave comments at the end of each entry. If I have many thousands of stories, will this create a problem? What are the reasonable amount of stories these solutions can handle? Does anyone have a better idea for how this can be implemented? Any ideas or feedback is welcomed. 🙂

Is there a way to add members to a group from the group? Example: I create a new group and I would like to now add members to that group. That would make it much easier to populate the group with members other then editing the members one by one and adding the group there. I know this from most user management systems, but I don't see the option in IPS. Am I missing something or is this not available (yet)?
