Hallo Is there a way in 4.0.1 to export the last few new topics and the last few replies per RSS feed? (Pretty much the same way the widgets work just as an RSS feed.) I've only found the forum RSS but I used to offer the other two as well. Thanks!

IP.Gallery 5.0.5 has many usability problems and I hoped that 4.0 release will solve all of them and make IP.Gallery really convenient, but what I see on the demo site disappointed me a lot( In 5.0.5 the default size of images is very small. Today nobody see photos in 640*480 px size. Everybody prefers to see images in a fullscreen mode (look at Facebook). IP.Gallery has a special mode - slideshow, but it's the same - small images with two useless areas at the top and the bottom. Furthermore there is no link to the slideshow on a single image page, so most of the visitors never know, that there is a Slideshow in this Gallery. Anyway, slideshow is useless. You can't get a …

I'm sure I skimmed a topic on this on this forum but it was before I was testing IPB4 so I didn't take much notice and I can't find it now My members use the [ topic=xx] and [ post=xx] features quite a lot. It seems like topic still works in IPB4, but post does not. Is this intentional?

I know there is a poor implementation available to view a list of members, but many people would like a more advanced members page. If that's not for you, please don't post here, I'm not looking to start another debate on it's utility. Is someone working on creating a members page? If not, I'll offer a few dollars for someone to create it. Thanks

from default all signatures are disabled for new members, should be a default feature to toggle this and other settings like status, profile visitors.. it feels weird that so big stuff randomly gets removed

When submitting "urls" as signature image it will bypass the "max size" limit.. i think i asked before and apparently its not a bug.. whats the point of having image size restriction if members can bypass it and having 1920x1080 images as signature? hope to see signature size limit for url / images like on 3.4

OK, so it may be a bit of a unsual suggestion but it's something we have encountered. We have applied for press passes for E3, which was fine when we actually used cutenews (yes I know) for articles, the persons real name was used. However, with articles in content, the display name will be used. When our article writers request E3 passes, they will be refused because the articles are not in their real names. How can this be corrected? Is it something IPS will consider allowing article writers to use? I would love to see this as an option rather than a 3rd party plugin.

With PHP 5.6.3 + IPS4 I get error communicating with the IPS License Server. If I go back to PHP 5.5.19 all works fine. I am just posting this as INFO for the rest of the team. I am comfortable using using PHP 5.5.19.

Hello, On our 3.4.7 install a special usergroup has permission to post in selected forums html code. On 4.x.x this seems to be difficult. The group has raw html enabled but the selected forums don´t let us post html code - the code itself is shown and not the content like movies etc after the upgrade. Seems these forums lost the "html enabled" feature and i cannot figure where to enable this on 4.x.x Maybe you have a hint for me

We have to submit tickets as we cannot update ourselves. I was advised that upgrade requests have to go through Install/Upgrade requests which is fine. The ticket system advises to "do it yourself" to avoid the wait for an agent to do it for you. Cloud customers have no choice. The current wait time is 8 days. This is not a moan (Well, maybe it is a little), I just think there has to be a better option for Cloud hosted customers? Many thanks.

Since status updates have the full editor now, and you can upload images and make a full-featured post, they are kind of like blogs. And being able to post directly from your member page is much more user friendly. I feel if I could get the status updates to show in New Content, it would be a good replacement for blogs (which are hardly used on my sites). We seem to be moving more to the FB style of things, and I think my sites would benefit from this. I'd like to suggest the ability (as I know some won't want it) to show status updates in New Content. Adding to my other suggestion of a multi-select content type in NC, so you can filter out whatever you don't want to see …

After migration from 3.4.7 to 4.0 the Notification Defaults seem quite random and bear no resemblance to how I had them on 3.4. Is this intended as a "new start" for notification settings or should they have been migrated where appropriate? For example, half of them are now set to "Member can edit? : Disabled" and they were all enabled on my 3.4.7 board.

I was expecting it to save me bandwidth, on my main web server then use bandwidth where the images and attachments are uploaded. However, all the images and content gets "routed" through my web server first, then it uploads it to my storage server. In my opinion, this is a waste of resources and bandwidth, it basically uses two servers bandwidth (and if you have even more storage methods) it will use up their bandwidth too. I would think it would upload the content directly (such as images & attachments). I guess it could be possible, by making some kind of PHP Api on the remote server lol

Is it possible to make it so you can only view a topic if you have the link? We want to make a topic that is only accessible by people attending a certain event, but because there about 100 people coming, we don't want to do it using permissions or groups. Alternatively is there another way to achieve what I want to?

Hello, under http://community.invisionpower.com/files/category/160-ips-community-suite-4/ are a lot of items (btw. are they called officially addon or extension or plugin or ...?). So I wonder if all of them work with IPS 4 core only? Or do I need a special app (Board, Pages, Blog etc.)?

Hi, we just upgraded an ipb 3 to version 4 and found out that old bbcodes (like quote) don't work and are being shown as a code. You can see that in this forum as well.
