For the most part I am happy with this product. I did have a problem with my gallery but Brandon took care of that issue. There are some things I would like to see or maybe I am missing them because I am new to this version. The 1st is the gallery. I would like to see a way for members to have a way to copy generated code (like on the 3.4.7 version) for there images so they can post them on other sites. Less experienced members can't do it themselves and the code helps them out. The 2nd is the advertisements. As much as I like the idea that has been implemented, it needs a little work. Can someone from IPS please clarify if this will be in the final 4.0, or if we'll have to wait for 4.x?

I have found several arrays to translate like the following posts in the last In english "the last" is the same in singular and in plural, but in spanish and other languages not. in singular would be "mensajes en el último" and in plural would be "mensajes en los últimos" Would it be possible to translate in the following way? "mensajes en {!# [1:el último][?:los últimos]}" or this code like {!# [1:post][?:posts]} can only be added when you directly add in the arrays? Thanks!

Hello, when opening a profile you can see the email address at the bottom of the left bar. How can I hide that block? It is not part of the User->Profile Settings. I don't want anybody to see those information. Emails shall be visible to admins ONLY (not the mods). Thanks in advance.

Hello, now we did a conversion of ipb3 to 4 for the third times (on different servers). But we always have the problem that the backend menu for users (User->User) is not accessible and causes an EX2 error. All other menus like user->group are not an issue. Thanks in advance for any hints.

I check File System in IPS4 Feature Plan, and see May I please request relative URLs for all options? I know we use relative URLs in IPS 3.4, it works really perfect, and I see nothing why you change to use full URL in IPS4. Many people are complaining that they have no ideas to configure Amazon CDN, I guess you are going to add an option to Amazon File Storage, which we can use our own domain(putting in an override root URL), right? Then if we have saved full URLs in our database, is it easy to upgrade to use that new option? We absolutely can use relative URLs for all, and define our own root URL for any storage opions. Is there an easy way to manage emoticons in IPS4 via the ACP? Mine just looks like a huge mess at the moment and via the ACP I can only see the ability to delete one by one which will take some time. Don’t have access to sftp at the moment.

Im creating this topic to personally thanks @Stuart Silvester and @Ryan Ashbrook. Resuming, my board was in UTF8 and my Archive table in a mix of latin1 and UTF8. When i unarchived all my posts, it led my board to have more than 500k posts messed up. Thats a big party of my board history. I could not use a backup because i only noticed it some weeks later. They dedicated many of their time(in this trouble times with the release of IPS4), creating a script to correctly convert the backup of the Archive Table to UTF8 and then update the messed posts with it. It worked and the history of my community from 2009 and later is saved. This is why i would never trade Invision Powe…

Any chances you could make an option to ALWAYS display the second level of the ACP menu It is really really irritating to always have the second menu above the members or other pages...appearing and disapearing when you are going from screens to screens Also there is no way to tell where you are besides the title of the page...but where is the CALENDAR page I am looking at under? Is it under System? Application? (not a question just an example). With the second menu always there you would be able to tell where you are and in the case of the members page you would not have that menu hover above the names or the content of the right frame/table/page I would really really lo…

Hello. Can you add a list of subcategories into category view. Some users can't find buttton to view all categories. There is only one message abot "Nothing here". But there is! We have subcategories in category!

I wish to put forth an idea that when a user is warned for breaking the rules that an extra option is added to remove reputation from a user with a reason. So if user breaks rule A deduct 10 reputation from user with reason. Its very simple but with the type of userbase i have which likes ct they like to argue and having a way to punish them would really stop them from being a bunch of ***** since people seem to care about rep a lot.

It's just to ask ips if they could improve the load time of member's background image (hover image on root forum) because it take about 3 second to load, it is very slow and let this feature a little useless as members won't wait 3 or 5 second just to know what image have been set by someone.

I know 4.0 is not even done yet, but I always look ahead. And by ahead, I mean not just tomorrow, but next year. I like what Invision has done with IP.Board 4, but with respects your editor is your bottleneck when it comes to speed. This from someone who use to be a hardcore CKeditor fan. Although I do like a lot of many directions you seem to be taking the development, the site is a little sluggish in some aspects. I'm confident that you'll work that out in time.

Hallo I'm maybe blind Is there an overview somewhere which moderator is assigned to which forum? Or a way to show who moderates a forum? I've only found the moderators list in the AdminCP but it's quite boring to find who moderates a specific forum. Or is there a widget I can add to the forums to show the moderators?
