An idea that I am not sure if possible. How about if we can assign permissions for use of tags, then in a forum members depend on tags permission will can see or not the topic? With this system we can avoid create so many forums by categories or type of contents. The tags will help to classification of type or categories need. Before IPS staff consider to add this feature to the core, @Makoto you can do something with your tag app?

I have been patiently waiting for 4.4 to add web app support (including a service worker and "add to homescreen"), but it doesn't seem like there is any progress on this yet. Seems to me that adding a basic caching service worker and a plugin for "add to homescreen" wouldn't be that difficult and would be a good intermediate step while we wait on a mobile-first theme that works better on smartphones. I request an enhancement for IPS-4 to be able to receive an email into one specific forum for "archiving" purposes. Configuration should allow me to restrict the acceptable incoming email address(es) that would automatically be posted as a new thread (not a reply to an existing thread). Incoming email (presumably to a special email address) from an authorized email address would be accepted. Incoming email from any unauthorized email address would not be posted, and some kind of rejection message would be returned to that unauthorized email address.

Stripe offers, amongst other payment methods not listed in Invision community, 2 payement methods from europe: Przelewy24 (Poland) and EPS (Austria) These would be of great use to me if invision community supported them.

Quite few people on my board complained that when they try to delete several attachments through "My Attachments" they have to delete them one buy one. There is no option to select all attachments they want to delete and delete them in one click.

Recently, I have been receiving a large amount of spam email messages via the "Contact Us" link in the footer for signed-in spam accounts that have been flagged by IPS spam services. Can IPS automatically disable the Contact Us link for signed-in spam accounts? They're flagged just fine by the system. But despite the fact that they aren't allowed to post, their bots are still submitting every form they can like the Contact Us support form. Thanks in advanced!

I get notification on all new posts, but can I get notifications if someone edits one of their posts? I've realised it's easy for someone to be able to get past moderators and admins with innocuous posts and return later when the topic has sunk out of sight to add spam links or inappropriate content? In a busy forum it might get noticed, but on quiet forums like mine or on unpopular topics it would go unnoticed. I would hope it's easy enough to do. We can already see if a post has been edited if we are reading it. It might not be for everyone so an option would be good. Hello, I'd like to draw some attention to Pages' article creation. Namely the moment you have to upload a NEW image each time for a new article. IMHO that can be done better by taking a page out of Wordpress' book by allowing to access and search and select images already uploaded in the past. The Media section has this handled but as I see its only accessable when making Page templates. Why would you leave Media out of Article record images' selection? For example when writing news about playstation 4 (or any other recurring topic) I prefer to show the same image of the console with each news article. What we need is a community bot, which tests the whole website, collect reports of faults in all areas and aspects of IP Board, like a standalone app which sits on our desktop, logs in with admin user / pass, makes articles, topics, guides, support requests, messaging, template edits etc etc to give us a something like an XML file to give ips and they give us one back for a single solution for all our faults, otherwise I'll expect to be repaid for faulty software! Hopefully it is not a difficult change, but I hope you can add "Feature" to saved actions as well. Right now we have only pin/unpin, hide/unhide and lock/unlock. Even if you don't find it useful, I am sure the OCD inside of you is triggered by the missing Feanture/Unfeature :) "Add message" will also be useful there, but I am not trying to push my luck :)

Here are a couple of comments directly from customers This first one is because a customer wanted to change membership and went to the store to upgrade. That doesn't work because it would stack and not upgrade the current membership. They have to do it from the client area. But it should work in both scenarios as most people assume the store is the place to do it. Also worth mentioning here that PayPal billing agreements are not managed well for customers who want to renew/upgrade. They first have to manually cancel the agreement. Hey there! Every month I make a poll that requires people to vote for a member of the month. I ask for them to select their top 3 picks out of a list of 10+. I got a presumably automated email yesterday that said we removed the copyright from ip board. This was done only temporarily because of a new theme we installed. Not only was this message weird, it is a violation of privacy and worded defensively. I don't appreciate this as a long term customer who understands the rules before purchasing. Please do not scrape our website content or include an option to disallow this. The "watchdog" feel I get from this service is not sitting well with me. I started running a couple of different advertising on my site for the first time from both affiliate programs and advertising networks. There can be more display options in other apps though. I remember a long time ago it was IP Board (IPB). Then, as new products were added, it became the IP Suite which had many other products too. Then it became the Invision Power Suite, I think? But I was looking at my Client Area today, and saw that it is now called the IPS Community Suite -- so it's the Invision Power Suite Community Suite. That seems real confusing. What is the correct way to refer to this software? I often refer friends or colleagues to it, and I'm not sure what its name is now. I can not find nothing to show some pictures but without meta data information and all others additional information about the picture. What I want is something lIke a slide show, but right now when click to the pictures feed, it take me to Gallery and there appears all information about the pictures.... Right now anyone can share some solution to achieve sliders show of gallery? I think the Gallery app should be come with more tools to play the pictures.

At this moment we have to option to use additional questions to spam prevention on registration. However, only 1 of those questions is asked. It would be better to have more or even better a configurable amount of questions which will be asked a registrating use. The more they have too look up, the less manual spammers and bots have chance. Normally I have 10 questions from which I let 3 be asked to the user. That is not too much, but mostly too much for spambots and spamming users. The recent upgrade to 4.3 has aggravated a few of my power users because in the mobile version of the site there is no way to search within a particular topic. Since roughly 65% of my users are coming in on some type of mobile device, it would be great if there were a way to provide that feature.

Hello, IPS and community! I want to propose you to a little bit of improvement to the 'Forums' item. This option is a selector of speaking language for the selected forum (category/discussion/faq). Some big communities having their special sections for people, speaking in French, Italian, German and other languages. If we implement this selector for the forum we'll open a perfect point for making other useful stuff.
