Lately I'm getting a mix of registration notification emails that sometimes include the display name and sometimes do not. If I go to "Guest's profile" I do in fact see a proper display name. Sometimes the notifications include the chosen display name as it always had in the past. I'm puzzled by these new "Guest" registrations. Why are they not picking up the display name?

Is this something I should be concerned about? I hate errors especially in the database. It has always been error free. I upgraded/converted this table from 3.4.8 to 4.1.5.2 and a member was having problems. During the troubleshooting I thought I would do a repair on the database using phpmyadmin. I selected all tables as always, and ran the repair option. It completed fine it says, but listed in nearly 1/3-1/2 of the tables is this truncated note Storage engine for the table doesn't support r... Is there something that needs to be done by me to clear this up and will it cause problems (or is it causing some problems). Thanks,

Hello, Just purchased a new license for the 4.x suite, forum and gallery to upgrade our IPS 314 forum and gallery to 4.x. The problem is that that the web master that setup the forum in the past is not available any more. There is also no documentation of the setup. I have access to the CPanel, server etc. and have run the requirements checker, everything is green. Read the upgrade instruction well but have two questions: 1. I don't now the password of the MySQL-user. Can I solve this problem by creating a new user with new password and use this? 2. What is meant with "the hostname from your web hosting provider". Blog URL changes (3.4.8 to 4.1) I see URL structure change on my 4.1 blog Old URL (3.4.8) http://www.mysite.com/forum/blog/1121/entry-7317-trouble-mind/ New URL (4.1) http://www.mysite.com/test/blog/entry/7317-trouble-mind/ As you see new URL does not have blog ID only have topic ID Entry word used to be part of topic ID, right now it is stand alone... My question: If I do not TOUCH new URL (accept and go for it) if someone follows OLD URLs from Google would get 404 or system detect those link and redirect to new URL???? Thanks

Hi, I've been searchign for this for ages with no luck. When creating a block for a list of articles, I want to display the category the article is in, but I am not sure what to use to pull this data into the block. Also, if there is a handy list of all the variables you can pull into blocks, I'd love to know where it is.

I have a member helping me test 4.x on my test site. He is having trouble seeing options under his name for settings, profile etc from the pull down menu at the top right next to your name on the index page. I'm thinking it is a cookie issue maybe. On 3.x we have the setting to set the cookies for the cookie domain and the prefix -.test- for a test site, but I can find no way to set it to make sure the cookies he's using for the test site are separate from my main live 3.x site. Am I overlooking a section in the ACP? Thanks,

I upgraded my community suite to include I.P. Content which I previously had but allowed to lapse. I wanted to create a new sidebar on my forum but I cannot find a place to access pages. I refreshed my license which shows pages is in fact enabled but I have no new menu to show access IP Content pages. Anyone have a suggestions ?

I have enabled sharing for twitter/facebook. The share buttons show as expected on all of the threads in my subforums except one. I have one subforum, where in all threads the share buttons do not appear. I have looked everywhere that I can think of. I'm sure that I'm missing something where it's disabled. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi, Is there a tutorial we can read on how to use the bulk email system please? From what I can see there are two systems available, the existing Bulk Email system and then Mandrill. I guess Mandrill has more features. And how can I generate an email list please? I have a bulk email sending program on my computer that I can limit the amount of emails sent per hour. I'm just trying to work out which option would suit me better. Thanks Ray

Hi When viewing any gallery/album image there is a link that says "set this as my profile photo". Can this be disabled because I find it very strange to allow members to use someone elses photo for their profile photo. I would imagine it would upset some members too perhaps. Thanks if you can help
