Limited Storage

Ok. I've got a question.

If I limit that amount of storage for a user group say for the example I'm going to set the Admin for a 1 GB limit of storage. Now how do I tell how much storage space I have remaining in my account?

The user will be able to see this on his attachments page and also inside the upload area

Then something is broken... As you can see I set myself a 1 GB limit

But nothing shows up...

I guess it time for support ticket...

First check if it appears in the default theme.

Nope... Basically my theme and stock theme are the same just color changes. So even swiching to default still nothing.

Are you in more than one group? If so, the storage settings of the other group(s) may be overriding the storage limit of the Administrator group.

Now how do I resolve that issues with my secondary groups?

I'm assuming now after tinkering that freshly created group is "implied inherit" settings for a secondary group?

Group permissions bubble up to the most favourable/highest possible value. In this case, you have a group with limited storage settings (the Administrator group) and a group without storage limits, and thus the latter is selected for this particular permission.

In most cases this is wanted behaviour. If this is not what you want however, then all you can really do is to remove yourself from the groups which have "higher" settings.

Or change the group to have no upload ablities. Hopefully this doesn't bring down the primary. This why I was asking if the empty group or fresh created group would be better? Because all I wanted for these two secondary group is give access to two special forums nothing more.
