Is there an option to move all topics from a subforum to another? I am merging 2 subforums, so I want to move all the topics from subforum A to subforum B. Anyknow knows how to do it (mass move)? EDIT- Oh nevermind. when deleting a subforum, it asks where to move the content. lol.

My site has a Nexus Subscriptions Package to enable members to post items for sale. At present the only option offered is to pay by card, yet my site is NOT httpS. As I have a Paypal Website Payments Pro for another business, I would like to give customers the option to pay ONLY via Paypal. In this way I can give greater confidence to prospective Subscriptions Package purchasers AND satisfy recent requirements by PCI. Hi, After succesfully recovering my old ipboard database, I get broken links to all uploaded files which is obvious because I don't have a backup of my old files. The profile photo's are broken aswell and it shows like this (see attachment). Is there any way to mass replace the broken profile photo's with say, a standard avatar or something?

Hi, I just installed and restored my old website database (3.4.9) (+ sucessfully upgraded to 4.1.10). In ACP I want to edit the descriptions of the forums, but it doesnt work. See: https://youtu.be/wCEuhNpU7QY Also the menu for "parent forum" isnt clickable, as many other fields mission & not clickable (in theme settings etc).

Hi, I got a problem on my forum, that the block "upcomming events" is not working. He keeps saying that there are no events, but there really are events.. Just a couple days ago my website stopped sending emails for PM's and all that fancy stuff. I am using a gmail account to send emails. I am creating a java based multiplayer game and would like to allow my users to log into the java game using their IPS username and password. I have the password hash and seed hash from the IPS database but since IPS 4.1.x no longer uses MD5 hashing I was wondering if anyone has some java code to combine the password string with the hash seed to create the password hash that is stored in the database?

Is it possible to set which types of attachments a group can upload? For instance, I want Admins and Mods to be able to upload ANY type of attachments, but I want Members to only be able to attach and upload images (png, jpg, gif, bmp). The way it is now, it's a global setting. If I set attachment types to images only, it applies to EVERY group. Now Admins and Mods can't upload any file other than images. I would think this is an option and I am just not seeing it. I've searched long and hard but can't find a setting for this.

Hi. We will be moving the DNS for our Wordpress frontend ftom Hostgator to another hosting company. They won't let us install IP Board - so what i'm trying to find out is - is it possible to still run the board from the server it's on with the domain name still attached? eg website.com for the Wordpress side - then website.com/boards for the Invision end - on deifferent hosting. Sorry if this seems an obvious question...

I have a custom field that is suppose to have negative and positive numbers. I have setup the custom field with the type as number. However, the record input form only has the ability to enter positive numbers. If I manually enter a negative number I get a message saying to check the field for an error. Any ideas on how to best record negative numbers? I want to do some calculations on these numbers using php in a template. I also want to sort by these numerical values. The range of the numbers will be -100 to 1000 or more. Should it be possible to enter negative numbers into a number custom field? Is this a bug in the IPS software? If the number field is not th…

Hi I'm trying to create an additional way for people to login using the "External Data" base under "Login Handlers" I filled out everything correct and matched it to the data base but now I am getting this error message. IPS\Db\Exception: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 (1064) What I don't understand is if the problem is in IPB4 or something in the Actually MYSQL data base that i'm trying to reference. Any insight? I feel like I'm really close and this shouldn't be that hard.

Hi folks, I run a forum for militaria collectors, and I use a military rank structure for members. Validating members are recruits, then when they join they rise through the ranks according to posts. I've set each rank as it's own group. That way worked better for me. Private/Lance Corporal/Corporal etc. They stop at a certain rank, to progress beyond that they have to pay a subscription, and above that it's admins only. What my issue is that I wanted to use secondary groups, so in effect I could lump all the ranks into 4 groups of ranks as it were.
