I am a new customer and have the latest release of IPB. However, no converters for IPB4 for SMF as of yet. A work around I would imagine would be to convert to IPB version 3.#.## and then upgrade to my current version I've bought. Question: Is there a way to downgrade my current version? I cannot find any IPB 3.#.## versions anywhere on this site and also is it free? I would imagine since buying into IPB in version 1.4 that means all previous versions are technically mine as well correct? A little help will be appreciated. Not used to IPB at all and will be having a time trying to sort everything out.

Hi, Since we migrated from XF many of our existing members have had issues with their password needing to be reset every time they attempt to login. On a side note... we are also getting reports of the password reset email not reaching every member. I was able to replicate this - there was nothing in my SPAM box, my email address was correct and I was successfully getting other emails. Is anyone else's community suffering from constant password reset issues? PLEASE HELP

This is going to be a lengthy explanation so brace yourself. The community I am a part of is currently hosting a Garry's Mod server. We have IP. Nexus or whatever it's called for IPB v. 4.x and I'm trying to come up with a system that, if a person donates, it will provide perks across the community, (on the website and in the server. Each have it's own means of providing perks in and of themselves, however there's no integration between the two. What I'm striving for is to integrate the two so when somebody purchases a donation package on our website, the perks it entails are also provided on the game server. I'm looking at using commerce to offer subscriptions for ad free viewing. I have opened a demo and I can see all the options to move a user into a new group but I can't see how to downgrade them using after their subscription expires. Is it not possible to say have £1 ad free for 7 days and if they don't renew they are downgraded back to the previous group?

I get a handful of contact form requests asking for help resetting their password.. Most of the requests go like this Maybe its user error? I am not seeing anything in the error logs. Anyone else seeing issues with this feature from time to time?

Take a look at my main page: ohiocannabis.com As you can see I have all of my sections with rounded corners and have added custom CSS to do this, but there are a few new WYSIWYG blocks I've added that aren't inheriting these custom CSS attributes and still have pointed corners - what's the fix for this? Same goes for my navigation bar - as a whole I have it with rounded corners, but the hovering links are still squared - yet besides the two corner nav links, the navigation bar is squared - is there any way to fix this? Perhaps just change the hovering attributes of the two outside navigation tabs?

I've read a few threads about people not being able to find the sidebar on the main forums page. The arrow that is supposed to be on the left-hand side does not appear on my forums and there is nothing about blocks, sidebars, pages or anything else to do with this in the AdminCP. The only changes to the forum have been made in the CSS i.e. colours, background image. Is there something missing that I need to get or upgrade?

I use opening times for chat which opens at 2pm UK time, I've got a member that can't access the chat in Austrailia as he sees the closed error and that it opens at 00:30. Any way around this as I don't like to leave the chat open permanently, it's only open for football matches.

Hey there. I am currently accessing domain.com/test.php There is only one cookie that returns, and that's "ips4_IPSSessionFront". It seems like no other cookies get detected? PHP Code: <?php print_r($_COOKIE); ?> When I use my web developer extension to detect all cookies, i find multiply more.. PS. I am using CloudFlare Flexiable HTTPS.. It looks like the cooies are secure, the ones that does not appear..?

Hello, We're currently running version 4.1.8.1 and want to upgrade to v4.1.10. After uploading the files the system requirements are displayed (which are all passed) but instead of displaying the applications that should be upgraded the following error is displayed: There are no applications available to upgrade How can we fix this? Accessing the upgrade directly via "/admin/upgrade" didn't change anything either. Thanks for your help in advance!

I have an invoice pending and tried to use split payment, but it throws up this error [[Template core/global/forms/number is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] Therefore I cannot use it.

I've tried re-uploading but the backgrounds have truly disappeared since upgrading to 4.1.10. Not every theme, just my default. Just made a secondary theme the default and it's happened to that one now.

After switching to SSL I get mixed/insecure content from the avatars of people who registered through Twitter (and maybe other sites). Is that something I have to manually correct or will the background sync with these services take care of that?

A serious hardware issue has resulted in us needing to restore a backup I took immediately prior to installing the 4.1.10 update. During the 4.1.10 update, I believe I saw it updating the database, therefore I'm unsure if it's OK to run 4.1.10 files connected to a 4.1.9 data set. Is this possible? If not, where can I download 4.1.9? The Client Area only gives me the option for 4.1.10.

Yo, I'm currently running the latest IPB release and Chat 4.1.10, and I have members asking if we have the ability or function to save Transcripts of conversations or writing jam sessions and things of this nature. I can't seem to find any feature beyond Copy Pasta all the typing. Does anyone have an answer or advice? ** Other than taking a Log as an Admin.

After the 4.10 upgrade (from 4.9) my users have reported this evening that the store returns a dropped connection message or can't open page .... Investigating further, I see the same messages under the ACP. Need suggestions on how to proceed - I have opened case, but don't expect that they will read it till the morning. Should I manually re-install, and if so what is the best procedure for re-installing the same version over itself ( which version should be downloaded - full or upgrade - and and where is the appropriate place to extract the archive and do the install)? Thanks.
