Hello, Today I received an email from Facebook for Developers (we have Facebook Login enabled) that reads something like "A Facebook user requested that you delete all data collected by your organization through Facebook," and provided the user's Facebook ID. I was able to locate the user running the query below. SELECT name FROM core_members WHERE fb_uid='XXXXXXXXX'; Knowing the name of the user, I was able to delete it. Luckily, the user had zero posts. I wonder if there is a way to do this search through the ACP. Cheers

I would like to hide clubs from the defualt "member" group but when I change the user to a higher member group say the "pro" group that they will see all clubs. hope that make ssense?

I have a problem where any new members who sign up to my forums are instantly assigned to the group "member" once they're validated, as opposed to the group "applicant." Is there a way to fix this and change it to the applicant group and if so HOW! fix needed urgently.

I was messing around with a custom block and I made it so my main community page won't load anymore: This page isn’t working ? I deleted the block but the problem still exists. Is there some way in the admin panel I can reset all the blocks on the main community page?

Hello, I have an issue when converting from XenForo to IPS. Issue 1: When I'm converting I get asked the path to the Avatars, it gives a hint that the path is: /data/avatars I type that in and it tells me it's not correct. Not matter what I type in it's not correct. Now when I type only / then it lets me move on but it doesnt bring any avatars. Issue 2: When I convert from 1.5.20 to 4.3.3 it converts the topic names, status updates and so on but when I click on a topic on the address bar the topic ID is 0 and I get an error message. I tried searching the forum and couldn't find a recent discussion on the subjects, but how do I fix the orientation issue on mobile photo attachments? I understand that on mobile all images are natively in landscape aspect ratio and there is an orientation exif data that lets the camera roll know that the image was taken in portrait aspect ratio, thereby rotating it to appear correctly. Seeing as how all social media platforms can detect what the intended orientation should be, I can only assume a modern, sophisticated forum system like IPS has a solution to this. Hey, I want to add a bit of JavaScript to a page on our forum to get info for the currently signed in user using the /api/core/me endpoint. Does anyone know if there is an OAuth token available for the signed in user that we can use in JS to make the call to the /api/core/me endpoint? If so where is the token stored? Thanks! -Kristoff

I have a problem when I try to search for members in the AdminCP. Is this a bug, or am I doing it wrong? I am using IPS 4.3.3... When I go to the list of members in the AdminCP and want to search for, let's say, all members that have more than 1000 posts, I open the box that allowes me to customize what I am looking for and all I change is the following: There are definetly members with more than 1000 posts, so the results should come up with users. Im currently on the Cloud Plan (40) and for the past 12 months my usage has been pretty good. I usually have up to 20 members online at peak times and the odd guests and this keeps me well within my average 2 day rolling number of 40 online users. However since upgrading to 4.3, I am seeing my normal members online plus 30 - 40 guests, many with the same IP address'. This in turn is obviously going to increase my user plan and perhaps take it to the next level. Has anyone else noticed this and is there anything that can be done?

My site is bilingual and filtering necessarily produces the "filtered by:" message with the field values in only one language because it looks up $data['value'], which is not a translatable field. I'm trying to come up with a work-around and I think I've got something. I think I could store some language strings as a prefix plus the key name for the field. (meddysong_1, meddysong_2 and so on.) Then in the template, I could use {lang="meddysong_"} with the key name appended. The problem is, I don't know how to get the key name. hey, guys, I'm fairly sure this is an easy one I just can't seem to find a setting! I'm looking to re-arrange my Admin CP tabs so that the dashboard is the first thing that appears (since that's the important one..) presently my donation app is popping up top and it's not where I want it to be (since it will never be touched now it's setup only a minor issue but nagging me everytime i pop into the admin CP, my demo install of IPB the app was at the bottom so it wasn't an issue, I'm just not sure what actually controls the order! this is the area I'm looking to re-arrange (just put cog system at the top instead of the $) thanks …

In templates I see things like {$category->_title} and {$category->_description|raw} What I'd like to do is be able to find out for myself what properties different variables have. There might be some useful ones, but if I don't know about them, I can't use them. I seem to understand that the trick might be to use {{var_dump($variable);}} or {{var_export($variable);}} within the template but what displays isn't particularly readable. Is there a proper way to get the icon showing right? For the apple touch icon I'm talking about in safari when you open a new tab and see frequently visited, your forum icon appears for your site. Andfor safari pinned tab, thats on a tablet. I couldn't get it worked, so I had to create seperate icons and place them in public_html, then I had to add the following into globaltemplate header. I'm guessing this isn't right but its the only way I could get my icons to show. How do I change what the out-of-the-box "upcoming events" widget shows? It appears it's cutting off based on time? I've changed the "Number of forthcoming days to include in the feed" setting in the ACP, but I have no idea what that changes? Is it the RSS feed?

I dont know if second is directly related to first but since upgrade to 4.3.1 I have realised 2 things Continuously locking tasks. Increase in server load The tasks are ; onlineusers clearsessions userAgentStatistics These tasks seems to be in "Running now..." state for some time and I believe cause of a timeout they change their state to waititing for the next schedule and repeat this, meaning they never run succesfully. If I run them manually they immediately finish succesfully. When this locking occurs the server load start to increase and after some time it gets too high that server may become unreachable. I know IPS has a main calendar plus those created in AdminCP, as well as club calendars. I'm trying to see if there is a way for each member to have their own calendar. For example, take a chess club with 2000 members sprinkled nationwide. If a member wants to host a game night so as to have other members over for a live match (that anachronistic thing where you play in person), it would be irrelevant to members of any distance away. If that was the theme of the site, to organize live in-person chess matches, wherein maybe 1/4 of the members wanted to regularly calendar a live match event, it would swamp any single calendar (maybe 100 events on a saturday) …

I am currently using Spanners company directory app on a project, which is going very well. My next step is to create 2 wordpress sites on different domains which will guide the public to my IPS site to add a listing. Initially I was just going to have them click on a link from the wordpress site. However I would like to make it as simple as possible and am looking at options so they can fill in all the fields on the wordpress site and a company listing will be automatically created on the IPS site. Does anyone know if theres an existing plug in that would handle something like this?
