I have had a couple of people ask to leave my community recently for personal reasons and they can't find a way to do it. I know I can delete their accounts or ban them, but does someone just have a simple option to opt out from the community? Is there a setting I need to activate? Thanks!

I'm trying to upgrade to 4.4 and for some reason I'm getting a 500 Server Error. When I go back the only option I have is to Continue the upgrade which leads me to the same error. How do I start a new upgrade?

I used the group promotions to add users to a VIP group. i use this VIP group to allow them access to my software. i no longer wish to apply the promotion so i change the criteria to something impossible to achieve and it works, now users are no longer promoted to VIP. However, some users have not logged into the forum since i changed the criteria, therefor they are still in the VIP group. How can i remove group promotions from every member on the site, even users who are logged out"

The group formatting doesn't appear to be working for any of my communities after the 4.4 update. I assume it's related to an error in the userLinkFromData template file. I have fiddled around with it and have no success. It's probably worth noting that the userLink template is still working fine. Any suggestions on a fix? Cheers!

I'm trying to write a conditional for displaying an IPS database field for logged in members, only. Guests should see an error message asking them to log in or register. The code below is displaying the field to members only, but the error message doesn't display for guests. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Just uploaded and installed 4.4.1 to dev site and get the following errors. It's a new install. I have tried different ftp programs. Hello guys, I hope someone can help me, I'm not a adwords guru. I created some Google ads for my forum the ads performs well in terms of clicks I am getting, but I'd like to setup conversation tracking in adwords instead as that will enable me to adjust my billing more accurately to pay per converted member. The question is, how does one setup a successful member registration as a conversion on Google ads? (hoping some of you are experienced with running ad campaigns for your IPs sites.)

Hi, when I upgrade 4.3.6 to 4.4.1 with a bunch of custom applications and plugins what is the recommended way? Put the site offline Disable all plugins Disable all custom applications Upload and upgrade core components Upload new versions of plugins and applications ???? <------------------- Enable plugins and custom applications Put the site online Or should I upload core AND custom applications at the same step and upgrade them all together? Hey Guys, Hope someone is able to help. I searched the community and was unable to find exactly what I'm seeking so I'm going a new thread will get us there. We'd like to query the database to return Excel spreadsheets based on certain values we'll assign in the query. Would like these queries to look in specific Topics as well as in polls. I have limited technical expertise but one of the staffers has a background in programming...just not specific to IPB. Is there a step by step tutorial available for this?

While updating to 4.4.1 my all IP Pages has failed, support send me file to fix it by doing 3 changes. I have two Amazon S3 buckets: Bucket1 and Bucket2. Bucket1 is currently used as the main storage method with about 25 GB of files. If I change the storage method to Bucket2 and move all files, will the files be transferred between the buckets or from Bucket1 to my server then to Bucket2? I’m trying to calculate the cost of the move, and if my calculations are correct I’m looking at below $3.
