In the release notes: Added setting to display user group formatting in more areas (see 6 New Micro Features). Where is this setting? I can't find it anywhere and none of the formatting is showing up that I had before.

Hi Guys, Take a look at the attached, We are running sitelock on our forum- so its not a DDoS. Have a look at the large amount of guests. Google analytics does not see them. Is this potentially google crawling? the site? As attached, Thanks all. Sincerely J

Hey, our community has been running fine for a few months now, but today I noticed when you try to click through from the Forum homepage through to a sub forum, it redirects me to my wordpress admin page (if logged in as admin) or website homepage (if logged in as standard user). I've been trying to troubleshoot this and found that disabling the wordpress SSO plugin resolves this, so I presume I've got some sort of rule conflict or similar when users sign in via SSO that's making our forum think they don't have access/only have access to the top level forum page? Anyone seen this before? Any suggestions on how to resolve? Please let me know if …

Hoping someone could help who know more about pages. I want to create a profile page for car builds. A member can fill out a profile for their car and then display all the info about the car, user and his pictures. But when they progress on their build they can drop by and give updates with a text block and a few photos. Ideally i would like the updates to appear below the profile so other members can follow their updates as and when they come in. What is the best way to integrate these updates? Is it using Blog and somehow tied them together or is there another way for me to let them update? I will want to keep the comments section at the bottom of t…

Hi We noticed that the tool Google analytics tag in the ACP will place the tag at the end of the source code on the community Whereas Google recommends its tag should be placed before </head> otherwise it might not work as expected in all cases (Google says) Could IPS change this placement ? tx ! 🙂 @Marc Stridgen @Charles

Hi, I have massive trouble after installing 4.4 update. Problem is, we cannot enter all custom database based pages - category pages are okay. Our idea was, that there is a problem within the old template and bought a new one - 4.4 ready, but the problem is still the same 😞 Hope smb can help - thanks! Stephan

Hey guys, Since i've upgraded my forum to 4.4, when a topic / message is posted, it will show "Posted 1 min ago" and after 24 hours it won't show any date.. It says 'Posted' and that's it. Do you guys have this problem ? Also, our club pages keep refreshing every few seconds... Any solution ?

I am being instructed in very BOLD red banner on every page of my site to upgrade to 4.4.0. I want to dismiss this notice but I can't and I am now annoyed. I will upgrade to 4.4.0 when I am ready to, not right now when I don't know what is going to break and then I have a thousand problems like my last upgrade. Happy to leave the upgrade banner in the ACP, but I don't want to see it on the front end. How can I get rid of it? (IPS, really?)

Hi OK so I want to use our Invision community to login to another site. And I believe using Oauth2 / REST API is the way to do it. Problem - our site does not currently "use" (have?) Oauth2. I realise that it is likely a "it depends" kind of answer, but generally should it be pretty simple to set up so we can get going? Or is it generally complex and a bit of a pain? It seems that I am not able to add an image to the article and then link this image to any other resource. When I add an image it is displayed in the editor. Then I select the image and click on the link button in the editor bar. In the window popup I see the link to the image source in the field Link. Changing the link to something else and saving does not change anything. The image is not linked and and the link I have added is not saved. I have the same behavior on 4.3 and 4.4.1 beta. Different installations and environments. So my question is: is it possible to add an image and link the image to any http address?

Hello. For the other forum I'm helping with, it's still 4.3.6 and my friend want's to use forum moderators next to global moderators. So the only way I found to ad a forum moderator, was to add moderators by name in the ACP ->Staff -> moderators part of the forum. Add them with restricted rights and then choose the forums they are allowed to moderate like in the screenshot. Logically said, this moderator should only be able to moderate this selected forum. However, he just told us he can still globally moderate all forums, which is not what should happen. Did I miss a setting anywhere? Or does it need to be set up some other way? I've seen …

Hard to explain but have noticed strange issues trying to use EasyEdit mode - settings in the theme are not reflected once in EasyEdit Ajax Pagination randomly turns off. Other settings differ between looking at the back end and using EasyEdit. why can't we set gradients directly on the basic edit mode why do you have to use EasyEdit to specify gradients?

I live on the edge and rarely use my test install but the other day I wanted to see what would break in 4.4 when I finally upgrade. So I pull down a copy of my database and all my files, and upload that copy to my .INFO version of my site and fix the paths, rebuild the caches to bring back the FontAwesome icons. But I just want to make sure that when I changed that license over there to have -TESTINSTALL at the end, that emails are not going out to members and that subscription renewals are not firing off. So is there a list somewhere that lists out what -TESTINSTALL disables?
