I have a calendar block (Upcoming events) on the start page. Whenever I look at the block as guest I see different times for my events. Note: I use Chrome or Firefox browsers with the same language and I do not leave my location. Example, event starts at 7:00 at the morning local time. Yesterday as I have shown the page to my friend on his tablet and there was suddenly 6:00 for the event. All other events had the time shifted by one hour as well. I have searched for the error about 5 minutes and wanted to file support request as suddenly the times were corrected. Today morning I see the same behaviour. All times are shifted for guests (checked in Chrome and Firefox) …

I haven't managed to find clear documentation on how to set up a Cronjob properly, however, it seemed easy enough from what I have read (none of which relates to IPS). I've also watched a few videos on YouTube. What I did... Entered my sites cPanel, looked 'Cron jobs'. Clicked on 'Common Settings', selected 'Once per minute' - as suggested by the IPS admin panel. I added the code mentioned to add in the command line. Then clicked 'add Cron job'. Over in my sites ACP, I selected Advanced Configuration and selected 'Use Cron job'. I saved the settings. After the patch upgrade 4.4.9, this widget works weird. I'm not sure if this is a bug or is it some kind of bug in my installation. What I'm watching: - The date doesn't change at midnight, but probably a few hours after that. - On a calendar day - no problem with that - everything is OK there. In the morning at checkup I have this: For mobile browsing, Android 9 with Chrome browser - date is already OK. hi, I've ran into a quite a problem and I can't figure it out. thing is I'm using a theme which has a big slider and latest articles block. borx theme to be exact. problem is that in theme settings there is only one type of setting where slider should appear and one of those areas is PAGES. and it does not go into details. this whole thing either can be seen in every pages of every database or even on every page created. We have received a report from Google that we are in violation of their adsense policies by displaying ads on certain pages without content. the example URL given was the login page but I assume other pages without 'valuable content' also apply. We are using the standard advertisement option within IPB. I have asked IPB support how to exclude ads on the non-relevant pages as we do use the ads to fund our VPS hosting and IPB renewals but the answer was "There is no way in which to stop these from appearing on those pages at the present time". This seems to be a javascript issue (yes I cleared my cache, yes tried even with incognito or a different browser, yes disabled all customizations) that is crippling the whole administration. Most of your actions involve an alert being shown to confirm or cancel them but that alert is not working any more. I can't even call for support from the admin (the "Still need help?" button) due to the error in the screenshot. This all started after the latest update to 4.4.9.1

When embedding links from gyfcat they suddenly appear shrunk. Is there a way to set them to "normal size"? I don't recall making any changes that would have caused this to happen, but they didn't used to do this. Here is an example (the white space is the video area).

We're seeing reports that Twitter emojis are not displaying. Inspecting shows that the embedded images are returning 404. This was after moving our database server--looks like it may have been something to do with the emoji characters not making it in the backup/restore. New emojis work just fine after wards.

hi, I wanted to make all the member groups clickable in topic view so if people click they end up on page explaining all the groups. I opened postContainer template and added a href link to this line <li>{expression="\IPS\Member\Group::load( $comment->author()->member_group_id )->formattedName" raw="true"}</li> this worked. but it introduced problems with threadstarter mods. if this the only way to archive this linking?

Hi fellows, I just noticed when inserting an image from the clipboard via Copy & Paste into the editor it is being attached twice and thus shown twice. Using the shortcut keys CTRL+V and inserting from clipboard using the context menu (right click > insert) both render the same effect. This happens when using the default theme, default language and after clearing caches (AdminCP > Support > Something isn't working...) Anyone had that issue or knows what is going wrong here? Hi, Has anyone else noticed any issues with IP address removal and pruning members of late? One of my site licences has just expired so I can't put a ticket in but I've found overnight a couple of issues. I made a DB backup then created some new member groups and promotion rules to separate inactive members last visited by 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 years. I started to prune members from the 4 and 5 year groups overnight, this morning the tasks have finished but there are still members in groups 4 and 5. I pruned the 5 year members again and I still have almost 600 accounts in the 5 year group and over 2800 members in the 4 year group! My second concern i…

I see Maximum title length for title, under Posting settings, but is it possible to limit character count on posts? Maybe a plugin.
