Hello, I've discovered that using second option of Single Sign-on implementation (https://community.invisionpower.com/4docs/advanced-usage/development/single-sign-on-sso-r98/) leads me to a session problem. Hello, Have quite the issue at the moment however only specific to Mac users. The downside is, ALL Mac users I have a page with a Manual PHP block that loads specific data based on the package(s) bought. However this is only visible to non-Mac users ERR_CONTENT_DECODING_FAILED I disabled Apache mod_deflate, but no change Any one know what I can do?

Hey, I'm looking for a way to redirect users after them have been successfully logged in in the forums. Basically, in my external application I'm checking if the the member id I'm receiving is different from 0. If so, and if the user does not exist already in the external database, I am redirecting him to the login page, such as http://domain.com/login However, in IPS3 I was able to do something like: http://www.domain.com/index.php?app=core&module=global§ion=login&return=http://external.domain.com How can I achieve something similar to the return parameter that used to work in the previous version? Hello, I have the following files: /public_html/board/init.php /public_html/external/controllers/TestController.php To access the forums I use http://board.domain.com and to access TestController I do use http//external.domain.com/test According to documentation: In TestController, doing the following: <?php /* [...] */ require_once('../../board/init.php'); \IPS\Session\Front::i(); var_dump( \IPS\Member::loggedIn()->member_id ); ?>returns me false. Hello, I've run into the following problem installing IPS4: "Your license has not been provided. Please supply your license key in order to continue.... There was an error communicating with the IPS License Server...." I've installed IPS4 previously and successfully but I now receive this message. I can roll back to v3.47 and upgrade to v3.48 without even being asked for my license key. When I supply the license key with or without the "-TESTINSTALL" suffix and simply receive the same error (understandable if it's a "communication" error). I've tried using previous v4 releases that I know were successful and still encounter this problem. Does anybody have any sugg…

Hi there, Trying to run the upgrade to IPS4, which, only my 3.4.x install, requires a conversion to UTF8. So I pressed the button to start the convertor and got this message: Error: include(/uploads/profile/photo-7130.jpg): failed to open stream: No such file or directory File: /home/weareper/public_html/wapforum/conf_global.php(191) : runtime-created function Line: 1 The file, photo-7130.jpg, exists in the /uploads/profile/ folder. Initally it was CHMOD 644. It was the only file with those permissions in that directory, so I changed to 777 as the rest were. That didn't help. Whenever I upgrade the forum or install an application I am experiencing that all the URL's pointing to CSS/JS and/or other rescources are wrong and a white page will show. Was making some calendar events for bike rides on my site and pasting info into the "Description" field. Due to the fact that the data I had copied had styling applied to it, I selected the "Past as plain text" editor button (which I have enabled). I had done this for other events, but not as a "plain text" choice and it worked fine. Imagine my surprise when I saved the event down and then when it was shown it looked like this You couldn't use any of the event details buttons to edit, download or anything (couldn't delete it) so I was able to use the browser back button and converted the "plain text" to html and it them showed up fine. Hello everyone, Recently I switched to CloudFlare from the recommendation of my server host. Upon doing so, however, my license key dropped off the board and it's now impossible for my board to contact the IPS licensing servers. Has anyone else who is on CloudFlare experienced this issue? Is there a way for me to fix this. I do have a support ticket in, but thought maybe reaching out to the community would see a little help.

I am currently using a YouTube field in Pages and the embedded player. I was wondering if there was any way to pull just the video id eg watch?v=auIy9YNxFDk so that I can use it to pull the associated YouTube image from them without having to manually enter the videoid as a separate field ? {$record->customFieldDisplayByKey('video', 'listing')|raw}Currently pulls the full URL. I am assuming that for formatting for the embedded player the videoid at the end is somehow split? This one is odd purely because of how the issue presents itself. I have a page, "articles" based on template "single_column". In the page builder, the block, "category listings" is added. All is fine. After a bit of use in the wild, the block at some point starts to develop an odd behaviour; duplicating its contents one above the other. Block working fine... When building plugins, I am sometimes in a situation where I need to attach a template hook somewhere in the global template. This, of course, means that my hook is going to show up everywhere in the site, which is not always what I want. I often want to limit the plugins' display to certain sections of the site only. This means I need something like this: {{if $section == 'forum'}} {template = 'my_hook'} {{endif}} if I want the hook to only show in the forums. What I don't know is how to get that $section variable. What is the best way? I hope this is simple enough

Hi, im having trouble with a skin i bought from IPBfocus. I was wondering if someone could do the following for me. Time is of the essence because i plan on launching the forum tomorrow! * Change the background so that its no longer a blurred image and is the same colour as the red banner. * Get rid of the white patches on either side of the banner and make it so that its the same colour as the banner and the background. I want it to look sleek and uniform. * Make the banner so that its a fixed size and doesnt go small when you scroll down the forum. I want to use \IPS\Member::load($idVal, 'ex_id') with my new `ex_id` field.
