Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue? Essentially, these are the steps I take in upgrading my 3.4.7 test site: SQL and /forums copy from Prod to Dev serverpaths and config files updatedlicense key updated with -testinstall3.4.7 test site loaded and confirmed workingCopy 4 beta fileschmod 777 to plugins folderrun upgrade scriptBut for some reason, I can never get the user avatars to display, apparently because the table entries are not being created but can't seem to work out why and support can't replicate the issue. Not sure what else I can try?

I have a hosting with 64 Mb RAM.... Installing a clean Beta 2 I receive the memory alert, but I can install without any problem. Trying to upgrade a 3.4.7 version I receive the memory alert but I can't install and the process stops... Is this normal? any tip for upgrading with only 64 Mb of RAM ? Thanks

Hi, After upgrade from 3.4.7 to 4.0B2 pages are not loaded completelly with the error: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'ErrorException' with message 'Unknown: Failed to write session data (user). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp/sessions_php54)' in Unknown:0 Stack trace: #0 [internal function]: IPS\IPS::errorHandler(2, 'Unknown: Failed...', 'Unknown', 0, NULL) #1 [internal function]: session_write_close() #2 {main} thrown in Unknown on line 0 Any idea how to fix that? Hello, since the Google Panda / Penguin / Hummingbird updates our IPBoard positions are getting worse. We must make a better onpage optimizing in focus of the Google Webmaster Guidelines. I installed the IPB 3.4.6 because HTML5 and the Canonical tags, but the template and the IPBoard software must anyway better. It would be nice with IP. Content/Pages if we could add links directly to the navigation bar, rather than be forced into having created pages form a drop down menu under the "Pages" link. It would also be nice if you could rename the application links on the bar to better suit your communities. If you want to use Pages to create a variety of sections on a website, you need the ability to do both of those things. The name "Pages" as a menu option is impersonal and doesn't always define what you'd consider a 'main site'. Probably one of the best updates I remember from 3.3 (correct me if I'm wrong) to 3.4 was that user hovercards weren't enabled for unregistered guests. Sadly, I see they're enabled again for unregistered guests in 4.0.

Hi, Please move this to the correct place, if this is not the one. Recently, you upgraded IPS Community to IP.Board 4.0. I was folowing several files in the marketplace (now called "Downloads"). With the upgrade, all configuration of files I was following was LOST. So now I will have to remember all files I was following, one by one, so I can follow them again and be alerted whenever they are updated...

Recently, I had never thought to ask about this before and I'm wondering if it's been addressed, but, does IPS have any plans on implementing a feature that would allow Moderators to post System/Moderator highlighted messages in a given topic? What I mean is that, say, a member violates a forum rule or a Moderator sees that a problem is developing. Rather than a standard message, like every other posted message, if a Moderator decides to post a 'system message' in that topic, that Moderator could check a box before 'finalizing' that posted message that would highlight the border around the message with a chosen color, whether that be a 'colorized' red border, blue borde…

Hi, I know in the first day or so after the upgrade here they said not to worry about speed (due to tuning, background processes still running, etc.) but even now I'm still finding the site very slow. I wondered perhaps if this was just on the mobile version or even browsing with Safari. For me on opening pretty much any thread I get a partial (1/5th) loading bar instantly and then it hangs for about 20 seconds and suddenly the page appears. If the site loads super fast for you then great but *please avoid replying* - I'm trying to establish any pattern for those of us who are getting these frequent mid page loading hangs so I can then file it as proper feedback. I see this happening here, on private messages. Sometimes I click to reply and I can't type in the reply box. The box expands for me to enter the message, but it seems like the text area is not "selected" or allowed to be used, so I have to reload the page, then it works. I use Chrome. PS: I don't know if I was supposed to post this here or to post this on the bug tracker.

Not sure if that's a setting here to disallow un-liking or not but currently with 3.4.x you can like a post and then go back and unlike it, for whatever reason. Just noticed on these forums that once you like a post, it seems you cannot unlike it. Am I missing something?

Please bring back page views for blog entries and gallery images (like in 3.4.x) for the IPS 4 suite. Even though those page view numbers can easily be manipulated, they give users an overview about which content is popular. It motivates users to create better content.
