Currently is opens up at a set custom post count but i may want to sell subscriptions and i would like one of the perks to be a custom user title but i see no group setting to allow that. So thats my suggestion.

Quality of Life Improvement (QoLI) It would be nice to have a way to see what it configure and turn on in each area. In the 3 series, there was a little green mark are green wording that told the user that this was a feature that enabled are not. This feature would be good to have next to the name are to the right are just to show what is off and on without going into it each Gateway and checking it.

Quality of Life Improvement - QoLI I use a script in the old Nexus to allow to have auto open ticket run when a user buys a certain product. This setting below is something close to what I was looking for, but having the option to allow auto open ticket with a preset message would be a nice addon feature. This allow owners with this need to have it. As Nexus is use for selling different stuff online even digital it just fill another way that seller can interacted with their customer base and needs.

Quality of Life Improvement (QoLI) It would be nice to have a setting that if your paying by a means that don't need a physical address to have the option to turn this off and move on. If the setting is not there than some users don't have to worry about it, also some people don't want to put it there. But of course this option should be allow to be the owner of the board. Some people want it some people don't. There was a talk about it someone where else but the option to allow it is something to at least be allow to be choose by the owners and such. For example I use Paypal and don't need are want my user to put their address in as I don't need them to. Some don't…

I was creating custom template logic to display a field, and I had a slight syntax error. When submitting the template code I just got the following... decidedly unhelpful error: At which point my template code was promptly thrown out. I'd expect to see an AJAX error, at the very least something like "Syntax error" on the same edit page with my code still intact. Can we get something a little more user friendly here? I mean, I'd like to see a big push for IPS developers to make more useful error messages throughout the suite, but at the very least Pages should have useful errors since it's developer focused. Thanks.

like the previous version was. There is no way to search by members who have a photo or from a custom profile field which is all our community is based on. Is anything being done or what is the reason why the custom profile fields do not show on the members search page? Do I need a custom mod for this? Why was this functionality removed?

Yesterday I just finished my final template edits (really only a few modifications to the global file most is css) to integrate IPS in with our existing site design. I wanted to do it myself because honestly the major company I paid to do it last time just sub'd it out and it was a sloppy nightmare for the most part. BUT, this was my first time using media queries etc so it's a downright mess (that's ok since I didn't pay for quality!...LOL) and I'll need to go back and re-do it later but this will get us by for a few days. Since those key modifications were done it was time to check out the rest of the color modifications with the Easy Editor. I was 100% prepared for it …

The old IPS 3 need plugins like Smush.it (http://community.invisionpower.com/topic/370954-smufaeces/) to optimize images that are uploaded by community users (usually not optimized). IPS 4 takes advantage of ImageMagick to optimize images. My question is: does the core image optimization take care of all images that are uploaded to the community, even attachments? Second: is ImageMagick as good as Smush.it?

Wonder why there is still no "Only search in titles" option (back) in the search system (or have I missed this now?). I would not explain again why this is a must have feature for a search system, we have declared this here a few weeks ago and after some tests with the feedback board, my testinstallations and now this live board i can say that this option is still necessary for a search system on a community (board). Still hope for this feature - or for the first modder which give us a hook/mod for this.

Seams to be that the next step in the Commerce application development should the option of allowing the Members group to add products from the site's public side. It will allow to create communities of people desiring to sell something (paintings, crafts, etc.) and will provide new people here as new IPS customers. New people will provide new ideas for the Commerce which will help to make Commerce attractive to buyers.

Under Insert Other Media, it would be nice to have Gallery as an option. I know you can do it by pasting the link to the gallery page and that works fine on a full size device, but multiple tabs and copy/pasting links on mobile devices can sometimes be frustrating. In 3.4 I could see "Blog Entries" and "Events" being useful to other site owners as well for the same reason.

We may have the option in ACP to create the exact replica of the comunity files and database on the dates/time basis. For example, this option of creating the restore points is available in MS Windows. If you are not advanced user to restore your files via FTP or do not want to do this due some reasons, you may create several restore poins manually or automatically on the scheduled basis. The suite may keep this copies of files and database in the encoded form that if system is hacked or ruined in any way it may be quickly restored from the ACP. A default sharer image is nice if the post does not have any special image attached to it. In Pages, post image field is used as sharer image if not empty. But in topics, if the topic starter attaches an image, this image is not used as sharer image. This feature was present in 3.4 and was removed in 4.0 series.

The next 4.2 is expected with profile improvements. Apps like Happn and Tinder allow users to show Instagram and Facebook photos on profile. It would be nice if IPS 4.2 profile page could allow users to embed their personal photos from Instagram and Facebook.

I love the overall look and feel of the new 4.0 series. I'm in the process of testing it to eventually move my site from 3.8 to 4.0. However, (comma), I do not like how the right column is higher than the left column. I think when designed, the center row above the message board was limited to the width of the first colu,mn instead of going completely across the entire width of the site. Is there a way to change that?

Please allow admins to either set the Activity tab to show that member's status updates only (or the activity we select), instead of all their activity, or add a Status Updates tab and let us choose the default tab for profiles (which is also a separate suggestion, this should also be possible in case you want About Me as default, etc.). These could also be member settings but if so admin should have the choice to not enable them and use admin settings. If you want to see all activity that's what See Their Activity is for, which is redundant since there is an Activity tab, it should say See (More or All) Activity. Showing Status Updates would be better imo, then…

Would be awesome if exports to Twitter and Facebook included the Link URL to the status update. I've found that I will post a status update on these other media sites and the context will be out of place. Plus it doesn't use the appropriate share image when posting it manually. T_T

3.x would change "updated by" in the report list when someone edited a report status (e.g. marked complete). AFAIK there's no info on that in 4.x. and it makes report handling less transparent. Is there a way to get that back (or am I looking int he wrong place)? Thanks!

Hello, I have a community which is connected to Facebook. In 3.4.x we were able to choose which Default Member group a user that logged in with Facebook could be on. Sadly now it only takes them to the default member group and my staff must move them manually to the group we have for Facebook Registered member. Would like to see the ability to choose a default member group for each login handler namely Facebook and Twitter
