Hello, Everyone that is using Nexus and lives in the EU, is forced to not only collect address data and where they live, but their IP must also be saved. This is for taxes and other laws. Can this be added in a IPB update? I've noticed that the Nexus upgrade is really unfriendly to EU as it misses several other vital options to avoid companies like mine to recieve huge fines. It's really silly I know but luckily only a small update. I would be forced to create my own webshop and ditch nexus if it doesn't change, because of these silly laws. Thank you.

When the support too disables stuff there is no way to know what was disabled (no log) so that when you try to restore things to their prior states it's a crap shoot to remember what was originally off and on - this i mean Apps / Plugins / and Advertisements. Some items may have been disabled at some point or turned on at some point but unless you walked thru all these before you ran the support tool and then navigated there is no way to turn back to that state. I suggest that a snapshot of current state be created in a table as a log and that a restore can be performed to that state before the support tool was run. i fear i have adds running that have expired o…

Hello, I noticed that IPS is eager to code according to best practices for web development. When checking any IP board forum you will notice one performance problem on all boards - renderblocking javascript and css code. If IPS can fix it it will significantly improve the pagespeed and hereby it will also positively affect the user experience and SEO results (as this is a SEO factor). 3 versions now I believe it has been since I use the converter I have had to manually upgrade. Is this something I am now forever stuck with? Please include the converter so a lot of us do not have to manually upgrade anymore. I have the full package and it takes forever to ftp.. Very time consuming Thank You

This has been discussed before, but now I have to bring it up again. I need to write a plugin for one of my private clients. They have a custom theme where the primary nav bar runs down the left side instead of across the top. The plugin needs to make the menus expand and collapse and store the user's preferences in a cookie. The plugin itself is not the issue. Here is the problem: Developer Mode only works with the default theme. You cannot tell it to use a different theme. Is there a way to - or - could this be added as a feature - an option to send a per-defined email in response to approving or declining a new member registration? My forums are meant for a specific group of people a niche if you will and access to my forums requires approval. It seems that some people when approved never return to the site and login because they did not understand that there is an approval process and were not able to immediately log in. In my opinion, it is almost uesless to put the review tab as the default one, as users usually can see the rating and vote the rating next to the article/image/file. Sometimes it may confuse users, as my users complain they cannot comment the file. It could be nice if you could move the comment tab to default tab, really appreciate your help on this.

So we would like the option to allow posting topics or posts to Facebook, but specifically to our Facebook group, rather than their own individual member feed. Ie the standard setting can be left to allow member to post to their own feed, but an additional setting added to enable posting updates or new topics to the group setting be added. Plus it overrides the individual feed posting. So that users can have an option to post to FB, but only our group. Just to ensure this better supports our forums with FB. Hello, I am using my IPB installation for selling software license. There are a couple countries which aren't supported by PayPal. Obviously I could just use Creditcard Payments instead, but for me it's very important that I can offer billing agreements / recurring payments. Amazon Payments does offer this. Additionally I have had some problems with recurring payments through PayPal and Mark Wade told me that it's PayPal's fault. Amazon Payments would be the perfect alternative for me.

Hello there. I am running a forum with limited bandwidth and do not want users (admins, anyone) to be able to upload files to the downloads module to the sites file system. I want the "import files from url" option to be the default and only allowed option. Is there a setting or plugin that disables the ability to upload files from the file system and forces link only submissions? Thank you

Is there a way to restrict member/group from sending PM only, without changing their Primary Group? I have tried setting suitable permissions in a Secondary Group, but Primary overrides this If not, is this something that could be introduced in Restrictions, please?

Similar to the 'Publish this menu' button in the menu manager, which allows you to make changes to the menu before making those changes live, a button in the forum tree arrangement section in the admin cp would be nice. Something that would allow you to change the forum structure or details without those changes becoming immediately effective would be convenient. I find myself making changes to the forum structure occasionally and wishing I had a chance to look them over before publishing.

Hey guys, So I decided to open my site today but noticed that the global status feed does not work for new users. They have to go into their profile and manually click on "enable status feed" to even post on the global status feed. So, is there anyway to enable the status feed for all users by default or at least allow them to post on the global status feed so they do not have to go in and manually enable it on their profile every time? Stripe has figured out a way to allow websites to save credit card details for future purchases without having to save to our server. It's all handled on Stripe server. Thus no need for us to be PCI compliant, lower site risk etc. However it appears the Stripe gateway on IPB is not making use of these features. Might be a nice upgrade.

The title kinda says it all. I believe it will be useful if there is a selector in payment methods for which currency this method should be applicable. There is a valid reason that you may want to prevent customers from using certain payment method even if the currency is accepted by the gateway. Here is an example. Paypal accepts both USD and EURO, but with very high fees. My local gateway accepts only EURO, but at lower fee. I want to limit Paypal to USD and my gateway to EURO, so I am not forced to pay higher fee when the customer selects Paypal for EURO purchase. This way I can even include the fees in the pricing, for example the USD price will be higher as I w…
