Currently I am on self-hosted with roughly 160-180 people online during the day. Call me paranoid, but I see the death of the self-hosted license in the foreseeable future and I want to plan ahead what my eventual costs on running Community in the Cloud will be. It would be very easy to say with 180 people online you need the 200 user plan and thats it, but its not that simple. IPS calculates the average users on 24h period, so while I have 180 during the day, I have like 40-50 during the night, which will probably let me use the 100 users plan...probably, there is no way for me to verify this. I asked in one topic, I will ask here again, but is it possible for IPS …

Tooltipster from iamceege (http://iamceege.github.io/tooltipster/) works fine on mobile devices and browsers and has lots of customisations. Maybe IPS can create something similar or integrate that?

Hey, I've just run into the issue that one of my monderators falsely restricted a player from posting / flagged as spammer. Now all of his posts got automatically hidden. It is a pain to revert that, please make such things easier, just a whole revert, or something like this. Or did i miss an option somewhere? Greetings

It would be nice to add a bar at the top for remaining storage space as well for each account. Like on my site I prove limited storage to members. So it would be nice to see how much space each member has for file store when your reviewing their information. Just like the PM bar at the top.

On the old 4.0 demo there was a topic about spoilers, but now it's dead, as I know. But problems are still there. So let's discuss it again. I can't understand why IPB's spoiler BB-code still has not title option. Many other forum software has spoilers with titles, but IPB has ugly little functional spoilers in IPB 3 and in 4.0 too. Spoiler title is a very useful function for many boards. People use it very often. For example, if somebody makes a topic with many photos and some videos, he put them into two spoilers. Suggestion - Add a function for repeating schedule set weekday number of weeks in. For example, I've got a buddy site I manage and he needs to be able to set repeating schedule for the 3rd Wednesday of every month for dinner meeting. Currently he has to enter it in manually every time. Can we put this in the list of addon on functions for the future updates?

It would be good if the "Contact Us" feature had the option to post a topic in a dedicated forum (chosen by the Admin) to allow the Admins / Moderators to respond and ensure the query has been dealt with, it would act as a log for the Contact Us application opposed to (and perhaps in addition to) the message being sent by email.

Maybe I just don't see it, but IPB doesn't include some sort of way to make a group inherit permissions from another group. It's very tedious to have to select permissions for so many different groups when most of them share the exact same permissions. I think it would be great if you could set a group to inherit permissions from another group and then override permissions if needed.

I haven't updated to 4.1.19 at all, which includes a security fix. Now that you guys announced 4.1.19.1 it doesn't show the security warning even though i haven't updated to 4.1.19 which includes a security fix (XSS)..

It would be great if you made it a feature that guests could use the support system (at least create the ticket), as I would like to use the support system for sales inquiries (which is always new people who don't have an account) and it would be good to have the full features of using the different departments rather than the single generic contact us form. Or maybe allow the contact us form to have additional fields such as subject, ability to choose department, etc. I think many other people would also like to use the support desk in this manner. Hi It seems you may have switched from Mandrill to Sparkpost in the last 24 hours, now every email I get is going to Junk Email on o365 with a spam confidence level of 9. Are you using a dedicated ip or just the pool Sparkpost use? I can send the headers through if that would help. I personally found the exact same problem when I was testing SendGrid and its dedicated ip.

My apologies for repeating this issue, but I'm an academic search nerd so I will rant about this as much as I can. Say I want to search for content tagged with "apples" AND "bananas". I call up the Advanced Search screen and enter those tags, separated by commas. Now, the two Find results... radio button fields are irrelevant to tag searching, so I ignore them. However, the search results always return content tagged with "apples" OR "bananas", which is not the specific search I want. The search results screen says as much, i.e. that it's returning an OR search and not an AND. Put simply, there needs to be an AND function for tag searching. Thinking out lou…

One of the features I find fantastic with IPS is the support for web push notifications, however the current implementation leaves a lot to be desired. I have an idea that you could give us some power on how drop-down menu items should be "converted" on mobile and tablet sizes. Or to be able to setup a different menu structure for the mobile/tablet view all together. Basically, this is how I want to structure the meny: Menu (Drop-down, click to see) Less important item 1 Less important item 2 etc... I would like to see more options to help us monetize our sites. Custom keys are great but it would be nice to include more default locations to select from. Forum display header and footer, topic header and footer, plus the ability to select which forums the advert will show in. The ability to select which forum the advert shows in should also be added to after first topic and first post. This would allow us to offer companies exclusive advertising to one board on the forum or say you have a electronic forum, you could place targetted affiliate links in each board. I'm testing 4.1.19 and created a new (non-responsive) theme. I noticed that on tablets or mobile devices that the font size increases. On older themes font sizes did not change. Did this change?

Currently, plugins rely on information stored in the database in order to work, and the only time that they are present in a file is when the plugin is exported. This is annoying, because it means you can't use source control to sync changes between computers and it's much more awkward to back up data. It would be really helpful if the key information (notably hooks) was written to a JSON file, or something like that, so that it can be more easily portable.
