It would be great if we were able to let users choose how long they want to take out a subscription for rather than just the default length. E.g. they are able to choose either 1, 2, or 3 years etc, and for us to be able to set a discount for the various subscription durations. E.g. 5% off 2 years, 15% off three years.

Currently you can only list entries in order (ex: last updated, etc.). Can we add a random setting? I use this feature to list affiliates / sponsored listings and I don't want any entry to have better visibility than another (i.e. random order, grouped by featured entries). Can this be done? Added?

Great to see the gallery got a bit of love in 4.3 and the updates are a big step in the right direction. I was keen to see if other forums are struggling with the members account/profile section and in particular how it ties in with the gallery as it is so hard to use and our members constantly tell us that they can't find their albums for example. It's the one piece of feedback we get constantly.On desktop, it is just about ok but desktop is rarely used these days (less than 35% for us). On mobile there is so much clutter and key content (gallery stuff) hidden behind drop-down menus (best avoided on mobile) so users never know that option exists. The profile co…

Hi, We've just upgraded to 4.3.x and I've noticed something irritating (first world problem, lol). It occurs on this board, too. On Microsoft Edge, when opening the Leaderboard or the Who's online page, the table acts like there is a sidebar, then one second later realises that there's no sidebar, and fully deploys to cover the whole page. It will be nice to choose to make visible or not messages that are wrote inside user's profiles... Status update is different from a "personal message".. In my opinion is not very kind to read a sort of "private communication" in the home of the forum.. Riccardo

We propose to provide a ‘Private & read-only for all/disable all further posts/contributions’ option. We believe there could be a frequent use case for this at the end of the life cycle of private clubs. When private clubs come to the end of their active period, there may often be a need to ‘freeze’ contents - i.e. keep them accessible to club members but disable further posts/contributions. This would give club members the opportunity to go back to discussions; but the moderators would no longer need to monitor what goes on in the club since no new activities are allowed. Hi, When a device has been unused for 90 days it no longer will log you automatically in. However, unless I'm missing something, there is no cleanup done when a device has been deemed as expired. I guess there could be other reasons for keeping it, for example the device log that is now available when you view the member in the adminCP, but I would still like for the information to be cleaned up after some time. #GDPR? Maybe add an extra retention setting for this or let it be deleted additional three months after it has expired or something.

I need to find a way or IPS should add a way to monitor 3rd party services used by the software. For example I've got Elasticsearch and Memcached on my website. Now if I reboot my server for any reason the Elasticsearch will not start on the boot up process. Then when you run support the software is none the wiser to any of the 3rd party services. I feel that if you have these loaded for the IPS software the software should be aware if the service fired up or not. Like another time I was surfing the logs and found a ton of Memcached error which explains why the site was acting goofy that day. I need the ability to assign multiple commissions to files/clubs etc. For example: My site offerings provide a place for publishers, producers, videographers, editors, and actors. Each party needs to receive commissions. Generally, the publisher and the site admin split a commission. Whatever the publisher receives of that commission (let's say 80%) they have to split with the producer, videographer, editors, and actors. As it stands right now, that is not possible. When content is reported by a member moderators/admin get a notification or email depending on there setup, these are not always seen. could the reported content icon show that there is an active report to be actioned, may be something similar to the notification icon or pulses or something to indicate there is a report waiting to be actioned.

With the new 4.3 version, I can't seem to find a way to get a url for an image in the gallery. It used to be you could right-click and copy the image link or open in a new tab/window. This is not showing anymore. How can I link to an image? It would be great if there was a button you can click for automatically copying a link for an image under Image Tools or Share.

I seem to have one of those sites where getting everything exactly the way I want it has led me into a couple of disappointing conflicts, I was wondering: why not create a forum for people to log their (confirmed) experiences of conflict with 3rd-party Invision applications? Obviously, this would not be intended to vilify or single out specific apps or authors for criticism, and of course it wouldn't be intended to shame coders into resolving every single existing conflict. I ran across something that might need changing (bug?). If you go to AdminCP and then click on the "View Attachment" link on any members account. Now say like my account on one of the sites I manage I've got a lot of photos. I was in cleaning up my photo pile by sorting to oldest attachment first. Now select all and the deleting. When the delete is finished instead of returning to my account (filtered) and sorted as I had it returns to the global list of all members. I feel that if you finish the delete action it should stay in the same filter/sort you last left it.

I think the Clubs application/feature is one of the most exciting under appreciated/developed things IPB has included in IPS. I am contemplating building a new site with clubs at its core and it baffles me how you can't search for clubs and have the clubs displayed in the search results... Can you please implement this guys? Should hundreds of clubs be created it'd be handy if users could search for it!

Some of my members are complaining that emojis menu takes a while to load. I have checked and it is about 1 second on chrome and 3-4 seconds on IE. Is it possible to group the emojis by category and expand and load it only when certain category is requested or when certain emojis are searched? Right now loading the menu means hundreds of requests needs to be processed, which I guess is what slows the entire thing down. I am using Emojione, but there is also slight delay even with the native ones. If it is possible to somehow precache them, it would also be great. Right now it seems that the emojis needs to be reloaded again at each page load.

I don't like the new format where the info and discussion area is tot he right of the image. It would be nice to have a setting to change it back to the previous format where it appears at the bottom of the image instead of the to the right. Most of our images don't have any comments and it makes the image small. with the big block on the right. The Following box is also covering up the maximize button.

It makes me sad that there is no usergroup permission available in most blocks or feeds. Sometimes or often you want to show only your members or parts of members (paying usergroups for example) specific blocks or feed blocks.

Hi, if a user account has been locked after some bad logins a mail is sent out to the user. The idea is to add a link to this mail that enables the user to unlock his account. At the moment we encounter a lot of locks, mostly when changing the device (from laptop to pc or to handheld and so on) and this is annoying to our customers - and for me as they contact me in order to revoke the lock.
