I wish there were a public link to the article from ACP. At the moment if I manage articles in ACP, I do not see any possibility to show the published article on the website. Instead I have to switch to the website and try to find the article by the title or content or ID to see how it looks like for the user. We need something like "Go to public URL" link in ACP where the articles (database records) are managed.

I have been hopeful the "RANDOM" filter would work as more images were placedinto the pull gallery, but it seems the pull is not random at all. I get the images based upon the second filter which is for ascending or descending. Is anyone else getting this to happen correctly and pull a random selection of 5x images from a category or multiple categories?

Over the last couple of days I’ve noticed that embedded tweets are breaking the container on mobile. Thinking I’ve broken something again but the same issue on this site. Not sure if it’s a temporary problem at Twitter’s end or they’ve changed a thingy or two that’s not compatible anymore with IPS code thingy. Just another tweet to throw out as an example in a reply...

Hello, We had migrated our all subforums called clubs to IPS Clubs: https://www.audiostereo.pl/clubs/ So I think we can be one of top sites that uses IPS Clubs now. ;) We have over 18 pages of clubs right now. And we think that our users will like it. Ok, but we have some issues. One is navigation on mobile. For example when you are on: https://www.audiostereo.pl/forum/196-klub-hegel/ And want back to clubs list, how you can make it? Navigation is broken. And when you press the Left Arrow button (upper left corner) it goes to... the same place. It doesn't make any sense. It should go to clubs list, like on forums. …

Hello, If you have been running a community like me for 20 years, and have thousands registered, sometimes you forget past issues or circumstances. It would be nice to have a "NOTES" section added to the ADMIN CP on the PROFILE page of the user. So that you could quickly see, whatever issues there was in the past with their account. Hi! We have a very old community and lots of users with outdated email addresses. We have a great number of notification mails and newsletter that are bounced. This makes a big load on our mail server and is unnecessary. While there is no bounce management built-in in IPS, I would like be able at least manually set users with invalid email address to "validating". The purpose is: they should not get any email notifications or newsletter till they provide a valid email address. This would reduce the amount of sent emails and makes our mail server works faster and smoother. Thank you.

On mobile, imagine this as a bullet-point list of ideas/suggestions. For Gallery Albums and Categories, add the cover image to the API response For Blogs and Blog entries, the same as above. Add the ability to react to content. Add endpoints for featured content and top members.

I've not used it before, so made an account, retrieved my key and enabled it for my board but I'm not seeing anything and the VigLink site tells me it can't be detected. If I put the code in manually in a post, the site picks it up and says it's fine. So I'm wondering - does it work for anyone else? or am I doing something wrong?

Would be great if there was a way to offer a FREE/No Charge subscription option and have an option to not create an actual subscription, but move into a certain user group only. This way you can present this option alongside your paid subscriptions, to show a menu of subscription options, but not hold a subscription for each and every non-paid member. I know products is more robust, but subscriptions and the way they are presented to members, tracked in ACP, and accessed by registered members, is so much better than using products for subscriptions.

Isn't it strange in a forum with a non English language, located on the other side of the Atlantic to have the US as default country when trying to add a venue on the Calendar? Having to search for his specific country among hundreds, just to add an address next door? And that's not only for the calendar of course. It would be far easier for the members if there was an option on the settings for the admin to choose the default country of the site, as well as those other countries which are relevant to his visitors, e.g. neighboring countries. I would definitely appreciate it.

Hi IPS, it would be very nice if we could have a time restriction setting for each content type to allow users for example to edit their posts for 15 Minutes and make unrestricted changes to their Albums or Images. A single setting for all modules and content types isn't really sufficient. Thanks Chris

As the title says. I think it will be beneficial to add the status of the item - pinned, featured, locked, hidden, etc as an option in activity stream filter. Right now we can filter by tag, but in many cases this is not sufficient. The option can be added right here:

Last couple of days I was working around the subject of alt image tags. In IPS I noticed that if I lets say inserted an image to a post named for example "media-file-renamer-banner-1024x350.jpg" then this exact filename would be used as an alt image tag. That's truly better than nothing BUT what if you ditched the filename extension so it would just read "media-file-renamer-banner-1024x350". Moreover and I think it would be beneficial to loose hyphens too but I have not thought this thru just yet. Though in this case "media file renamer banner 1024x350" looks much better. Perhaps even a small plugin may be able to take care of this thing. Since I'm not a co…

I have a massive amount of images on my forum yet very few listing in google for them. I see that IPS automatically applies the file name as the alt tag, lets face it, members are never going to add them even though the option is there. Instead of the file name being added as default, would using the thread title be more beneficial for SEO purposes, or on a large thread with multiple images with the same tag would this prove detrimental?

It's not bug, yet it always been like this. Whenever you report anything from anywhere. if you mentioned any staff member because they are the only ones whom allowed to see the reported contacts, they don't receive any notification that they are mentioned there. Inside the report Moderator Comments if you mention them it works very fine. Would you please add this future in the next update. Thanks Regards,

I love the clubs.. it makes organizing our site so much nicer and more focused but what the clubs are lacking is two things from my standpoint. Permissions and Teasers for Open OPEN club I believe it would be great if you could offer a setting to only allow teasers unless you are a member of the club. This would intice more people to join the club if they are interested in seeing more. Would be great, somehow, if the contents could still be used to bring people to that post based on a search... if they want to see everything, they should have to become a member.
