Hello, After updated to 4.1.17.1, and setting an age requirement on our forums, when a user goes to register, enters the birthday and pushes submit, the page loads to a blank page with the contact us email at the top left. This only happens when the Age Requirement is set.

Hi, a selection for the advertising should appear on the desktop computer, tablet, smartphone, would be very, very helpful. Is there a way or could someone develop this? I have ads, that should only see guests that are using a desktop PC oder tablet, but not with smartphone. Best wishes Mark

Hello, ajax pagination is a great thing, but it doesn't work with adsense. So IPS said: AJAX is a technology which allows the content of the page changes dynamically without loading a new page. IPS Community Suite uses this in some areas, particularly when you move between pages. For example, if you are viewing content with more than one page, you will notice that when you move between pages, only part of the page changes, rather than a whole new page is loaded. Google requires that advertisements be shown immediately when the page loads and not loaded using AJAX. My forum started 5 years ago and lay dormant for 3 years. I have just got it going again. I have a member who has posted at the start and has posted in the last 4 months under the same name. Is is possible to change the author of the old posts to a different name and keep the posts in the last 4 months as his only posts? Thank you

Hello there Im have a problem, when i create new profile groups I cant rename them, and they appear somewhat broken. here is a little topic trick that i am working on go to Advanced Configuration url what you want to do is change the topic/{#id}-{?} witch would be http://url /topic/1-welcome so if you reverse it like this topic/{?}-{#id} the url would be like this http://url/topic/welcome-1 witch looks better? it would all so change the urls in side pages to automatic now i dont know if it would cause issues but i have this on a test site witch looks good. but the comments would be like this witch im trying to find the comments url #comment-2 to try and take out the # and if you do the same for forums would become like this forum/announcements-2/ updated trick …

Hope someone can help me here, I created a store for T-Shirts. I also created custom fields (Radio buttons) for the different sizes and pocket or no pocket. I entered one tshirt as a product in the store, with a choice for various sizes, and a control to show inventory as each shirt is purchased. The problem exists at the invoice stage, a customer has purchased a shirt, but the only information I have is that they purchased a shirt, it does not state if the customer chose pocket or what size. In IPB 3 I had installed a hook that allowed me to schedule the time a topic became visibile. This way, my assistant created a draft, I checked it and it was hidden. We set a "visible date" and forgot about it. It went live when we scheduled. In IPB 4 I can't see a similar plugin. Is there a feature or plugin to achieve the same result?

So, few questions as I'm thinking about adding a marketplace for our users to sell product etc... - If pre-setup with admin can someone sell private forum access to a class area? We sell online workshops so wondering if we could direct the sales via the individual users instead of our main website sales page (non-ips). Hi guys, I am struggling with an annoying problem on my board and I am not sure if this is even a bug or I am retarded.. While here on the official board I can insert media from IMGUR with no problem I can't insert a image url from img on my board. As an example: http://i.imgur.com/M42g7VG.jpg (It's from a game called Crowfall) Here I can insert the image via external URL with no problem. But on my board all I get is this: I tried to find the issue at the ACP settings but everything seem to be okay there! Any ideas what I might have missed!?!

When someone quotes you it doesn't tell you what topic you were quoted in. It just says 'username quoted you in a topic'. It didn't used to do this and it's not consistent with other notifications. I.e. If someone likes one of your posts - it tells you what topic it was in. Is there any way to resolve this?

Hello, Today I updated to v4.1.17 without any problems. I notice however that there are many files on the server (within the IPBoard installation) that have file permissions set to 777 There are over 1500 files set like this. I won't list every file!, nut as well as the uploads directory almost every file (not directory) within the theme folder is set to 777 Is this how they are supposed to be configured? Is there a way to fix file permissions if not? Thanks, Simon PS - may not be related to the version upgrade, just coincidentally I was browsing the files today and noticed it.

I believe I am missing something obvious, and I can't quite put my finger on it. If anyone could offer some suggestions I would be greatly appreciative. I recently purchased IP Forums. I am running a wordpress, memberpress membership website. I'm in testing phase. I have a fake account that I'm testing things from. I have it set up where there is a tab in my membership website that members can click on "community" and access the forums. Works in all browsers. Great! Yea!
