An earlier request for a feature that existed in content but is sadly lacking in this new software is the ability to select multiple albums, but display a rotation of images randomly. Again, this was requested many months ago so I am not sure it could be considered a bug, but is all of the functionality that existed in Content just being ignored?

When I am trying to add a new menu item and assigning it to an existing page I am presented with a scroll window to select the page. Unfortunately this scroll doe not sort in any fashion, meaning the last page created will be at the bottom normally, but if pages have been deleted it might show up anywhere in the scroll window. Is there any way to get this to sort alphabetically by folder?

I have a growing number of blocks I am using as filtering of content. When I create a new page the folder sorts the page alphabetically, which makes sense. BUT the blocks are not sorted in any way. Is there a way to sort folders alphabetically when viewing blocks?

Hello, Merry Christmas..... When I edit an article and a blog entry, normally will be nice attach a picture, but I would like can set up a picture default(should be a plugin?), in case if I have not a picture relate to title, that will be good for: 1. To make it like a picture advertisement. 2. I do not need attach the same picture all the time. Because will attach automatically. 3. Help to make all content created with picture, the page will be lovely.

I want to make our CK Editor like the demo on the CK Editor site, which is using the standard editor, rather than the basic editor which comes with IPCommunity. I've downloaded the Standard Editor files and unzipped them, but now what do I do? Do I simply upload the standard editor files into the CKEditor folder at admin/applications/core/interface/ckeditor?

Good afternoon, I'm having severe issues accessing the AdminCP for my site in order to perform a clearing of the site cache. Whenever I enter my username and password, I receive the following message: "Fatal error: Call to a member function fetch_field() on boolean in /home/dayonepatch/d1p/system/Db/Select.php on line 352" Any ideas as to the course of action that I should take? Hello, I am having a problem with the Articles database. I use this database to store my articles which are shown on the front page of the website with one of the templates that IPS 4 ships with (3 columns and featured image). At the moment all article records are visible to all members and guests of the site. I want to start adding premium content in the Articles database that will only be accessible to subscribing members. I can do this by creating a database category and setting custom permissions on that category so that only members in the subscriber group can see the articles. This works. Hello, I have set up a kind of SSO on my website, based on IPS 3.4 users. If a user is authenticated on IPS, he can browse some other areas. Everything changed with IPS 4, and fed up of trying to understand how IPS Connect works to make it working, I am almost ready to redesign the SSO from scracth with a LDAP directory or external database. Hello, When I clik on the Sign-In button, the popup appears. After filling login and password and clicking Sign-In, the popup remains displayed. If I refresh the page, I am correctly logged in. Same behavior with Log Out... It seems the page doesn't refresh anymore. I can't see any error in the log files.

Has anyone had any success in creating a form? ideally I could create forms on my site that would replace our manual/paper forms. so it would include regular text and people would fill out fields, click on date drop downs (able to select multiple dates), drop down selection, check marks, relational (rely on a previous answer to provide more selections and the doozy is able to insert a picture taken on your phone or iPad. Once populated, save the data so you could pull it up, search it, print it. any chance this is possible?

Hi, Our Forum is still not live - trying to work it out first. Just upgraded to v4. Couldn't find it in v3 can't find it in v4. Have registrations set to Admin has to approve first (no validation email to new member). So what I want to do is change the wording to the automated email when you approve a member in CPanel. At the moment it reads: "Your registration request has been approved at {forum}. You can now sign in with the password you chose when signing up." I've tried googling, searching the forum but either there isn't or I'm not wording my search correctly but it's doing my head in. Is there a way to change the wording on approval/rejection emails? Hello, I'm trying my newbie hand at creating a very simple IPB theme - really just changing colours - and I can't find some things. Hi, Image are very important on my forum (it is about coins collecting). Most of my user are posting images like this one : So I would be very interested by a rotate clockwiste or counter clockwise function. A rotation with the help of the mouse, because a rotation like 90° or 180° doesn't not fit. I tried this plugin : http://ckeditor.com/addon/imagerotate But I can't make it working Is somebody using a plugin or a solution to do that ? I would pay for it if needed.

Lately I've found out that the pages showing up on google when searching my domain is very less. Basically what comes up is home and registration. Could this be the outcome of a non organized forum? The homepage is not forum and therefore you have to go to forum via other buttons. I've posted an example here. You see that they first have to go to News, and then click on forum when they are in the category Home>Forums>Business & News in order to get to forums. I don't really want a overall forum that's why i have it like this. Does this makes it hard for google robots to crawl the site? That they don't have a Home/forums>category - to follow? …

Hi, I am using IPS 4.1.17.1. I have ads in two places: `ad_sidebar` and `ad_topic_view`. But I would like to disable these ads in forum node 27. I came across the ads removal code in certain forum nodes @thompsone provided here. I tried modifying and implementing the code to my `ad_sidebar` and `ad_topic_view` myself but I don't seem to get it working.
