My forum auto-feeds topics onto Facebook In the 3.x version it would use the first image in a topic as the image shown on Facebook On 4.x version is now only uses the Facebook share image Is there a way to make sure that Facebook pulls the image out of the topic instead? e.g. if someone starts a topic about a car, and posts a big photo in the opening post, then on Facebook it would show the topic title, a bit of text from it, and the image that the member had posted?

Hi everyone! We are doing a test install for my site http://www.anxietycommunity.com, we've done the actual conversion (on a test site) but are having issues redirecting the URLs from vB5 to IPB. There's one issue I think it could be, when I started the forum, I changed the category URL structure (in vB5 you can change the category URLs without a plugin) So for example... http://www.anxietycommunity.com/forum/recovery/member-journals (default vb5 url structure) redirects to http://www.anxietycommunity.com/forum/member-journals (My version) So my question is, could this be what could be causing the problem..? Hello, can someone explain what this error code means: 2S129/2 ? One member contacted me and wrote that he can't register account. After validation he receives this error: Sorry, there is a problem This member is not awaiting validation Error code: 2S129/2 And in ACP/Members i see: This member must be approved manually. It's not just one case. Every day i see new registrations, with: This member must be approved manually. Where is problem?

I have a script that is in the root directory of the forums that starts with <?php $_SERVER['SCRIPT_FILENAME'] = __FILE__; require_once 'init.php'; \IPS\Dispatcher\Front::i()->init(); it is crashing on the ->init(); now that I updated to 4.1.14.3 Any ideas why this causes a crash saying the page doesn't exist (in devmode it says a 500 error) and isn't logging any thing to error_log or the internal logging?

Hi all, I was hoping someone might be able to help. I would like to make a check in php if basically the user had put some text in a custom field. The plan is to make a video section on the profile, add a custom user field for the user to enter the url and then add a check in the theme if member has added something to the field display block else don't. I've been experimenting and can do everything apart from the if statement. If you have any ideas please let me know!

I'm coming from xenforo and over it we have an system with email pipe of that get all returning emails and set users as "not confirmed email address". Then when user try to login over forum again, a popup window show for him it's needed to add new email address and confirm account and he are not able to login if don't do that. I wants to know if there is any way to set some users with "returning delivery" emails with status of "not confirmed email address". Even if it's a manually way (not automatic with mail pipe) and if when I do it, they will stop to receive emails from the forum. Hey! I have found that it's not propiate to allow members to post HTML in thiur posts due to possible infecions of the board. But it is then possible to create custom HTML templates that are allowed and that users can only use these? For example say that I have a "Buy Now" HTML button that I'd like members to be able to post in their topics. What I mean is that members can only post certain allowed HTML codes (made by me) and no others? If you get what I mean?

After the latest update, commerce has become very hostile on my server. The logs are now 5,000 pages long and I cannot edit or update any file downloads. This is also preventing members from uploading to ip.downloads as well. I just downloaded the suite to update to 4.1.15 but pages isn't updating and I'm getting a message: Pages 4.1.14.3Locked This application is out of date and cannot be enabled until it is upgraded. Please visit your client center to download the full IPS4 suite. Any ideas? Is it just a version number they forgot to update?

How can I be sure that my moderators DO NOT have access to the Admin CP? I know there used to be a selector for that, to allow or disallow them the access. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Or is it built into the group itself? Can only those in the Administrator group access the Admin CP?

They seem to work on this site okay, but on my installation I just get a link. It's a default installation and all other oEmbed providers seem to work okay, just not Vine. (Vines embedded in twitter links work okay for example, just not vines directly from vine.co) Is there anything in the ACP I can check? I'm on the latest version 4.1.15.

Quick question: does the topic view counter count every single topic view or does it count only one view per unique user? Another question: the counter is not updated immediately, I guess it is a background task that updates it? Thanks, Gabriel.
