Hello, I was wondering, could I create several "like" staff pages. In the main staff directory, everything is very organised.. one can see the names, contact details and general information. I would like though to create another "staff directory", because we have several groups, and I would like to have separate staff directory for each and so they don't mix. Is that something that is possible to do? Have a nice day all!

Once there were a bug redirecting HTTP traffic to HTTPS. I know it's done not by mod_rewrite but when changing site's URL in conf_global.php from HTTP to HTTPS. But now when somebody has an old link to some images to my site it still uses HTTP and theres no redirect. And if I want to correct it with mod_rewrite by adding RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L] Then I have another problem. If somebody comes to my site from HTTP, it takes them to index.php instead. The thing is that I'd like to add 301 redirect to HTTP links but right now it's not entirely possible (https://redirect.miljonivaade.eu/?url=www.invisionpower.co…

Hello, I'm trying to use the REST API, but get the "3S290/3: INVALID_APP" error* when I try to do any request to any endpoint. Last week, however, I was able to upload a file without an issue and do a GET request to the core/hello example. Within that timeframe the only thing that I know changed is an upgrade to 4.1.14.3 from a slightly earlier version (just installed IPS about 2 months ago). Unless it was by accident, the test script I used did not change, and I cannot find anything wrong with it. Hi, I am using IPB 3.4.8 and wondering if there is a way that the topic creator get an email notification for reply to his Topic without manually following his own topic which most of my members don't do. Like I am user of different forums and when someone replies to the topic i start, i get instant email notification without even subscribing for my own content and thats with default settings. Please accept my apology if its an easy fix and I missed on something in settings despite spending hours to find it out. Any comments will be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm having issues on GardenTractorTalk with PDF's no longer being accessible in a couple of threads. I have just upgraded my community from IPB3 to IPS4, however there are two issues. Posts have weird characters and broken words. For example: "Good, on a system I own and around £20 are my requirements" there should be no "Â". There's a post which randomly contains " ​" for no apparent reason. There's a lot of similar issues with other posts. There's also huge gaps in posts where users have put spaces. How do I fix these issues?

I have several posts in one topic that I want to move into other existing topic. I did the following: > Marked all these posts. > Click on Split > Split into Existing Topic > paste URL > Click on Save But, only the first marked post went to another topic, everyone else stay where they were. As it can be moved only one post, and not several posts at once. Plus, I get this: Sorry, there is a problem We could not locate the item you are trying to view. Error code: 2F173/I

Hi, I recently ran into out of domain errors. Links from https://www truncated into https://(no www) and more things like that. I tried to get help here, then from IPS self but without any luck. After some checking of my .htaccesss file by my host the question arose if there was some site config pointing to https://(no www). I just checked the config_global file and yep, I, when I setup the forum entered the base url without the 'www' part. My question is, if I change the base url to include 'www' will that have any negative effect on my forum?

I need help with this small problem. I understand that IPB allows you to block certain email addresses that users can use during registration but is there a way to do the opposite and set IPB only to allow certain email addresses to be used while blocking everything else? Basically, I just want to allow up to about 7 or 8 email addresses to be used to register on my site and block everything else.
