I have been running IPS v4 for several months on my test site, i.e. www.example.net I am now ready to take that test site live and I want to change it to the "production URL" of .www.example.com -- I've used that URL for almost 18 years and do not want to change it, similar to keeping an old cell phone number when you get a new phone. Meanwhile, I have unlocked the test site, with a link to it for the users, who are learning how to navigate it and use it. I've simply locked down the old site and left a link pointing to the new one. What actions do I need to take in IPS to make this change, other than the simple DNS stuff to point to it. So right now I just have a static logo. But I just had a 10 sec logo sting created for my videos But I would also like to take this mini intro and add it to my header as my logo - is this possible? Here it is on youtube, but I also have it saved on my computer as an mp4 & can have the original Adobe AE file so I can have it rendered out as any other file type that would work for this application: e

Good Afternoon, I was wondering if its possible to allow users to comment and post in the forums but require them to get approval when they post in the gallery or in downloads. Is such a thing do-able? If so, how would one do it, I searched everywhere. -Aero

I just noticed that using the "direct link" from photobucket no longer works on my site. The link works fine. The direct link from photobucket when pasted here gets the tags auto added. Also a while back the picture/graphic would show up immediately after pasting the direct link. Has something been changed that I missed in one of the updates recently?

Hey folks, is there anyway to prevent the "right click on an image" to "save as" in our communities. In other words, can I prevent the downloading of images posted in our forums. And if I can, what are the consequences of doing that? Thanks John

One of my sites has the ability to edit the bio of the team page/directory, however another doesn't. Does anyone know how you enable this? Inside the team page/directory, there is a button 'edit your information' - for some reason this doesn't show for one of my sites, not even in the default skin. I assumed I made need to add myself as to it (rather than my group) however this didn't do the trick.

Hi all We have a script which sits in a folder within our forum directory which has suddenly stopped working (and i think it maybe after a security update) If i browse to http://forumurl.com/folder/script/script.php it wont even load the script i get just an invision power error despite i know the script is in this location.. Sorry, there is a problem The page you requested does not exist Error code: 1S160/2 Is there something i need to do to allow this to run as before? I have followed the guide and can now login via facebook but at point 5.3 I am not getting the 'Share to Facebook' button. I ran the debugger and go the attached messages. Bit lost. Well....I'm really hoping somebody can advise on this one... I have a science-based community where people need to be able to embed 3d models from another website into a database I've created with Pages. Embedding works already through the editor since I've added an iframe exception for the website that we embed from. I really need to be able to do this in pages and use a custom text field for the URL. I set it up and I can see it working fine...None of the other members can. Any ideas on how to allow iframes from this 3D website through to display on a record page within pages?

Wondering if anyone has used IPS in conjunction with another script, such as framing a page within an IPS template and running a script. In other words you're integrating the script but using an IPS header and footer with the content area in the middle of the script. There are some obvious compatibility issues like CSS but I'm more interested in the framing aspect (other than using a standard iframe.)

I've defined a custom field "gamekeyid" (type text and nowhere shown) one time for the product and one time for the customer, but neither show up in the rest api call /nexus/purchases. I don't know if all members are having the same problem from my website but I did some account checks and seems to be an little bug Image one is from my account! As you can see it says Store!! Image two is from all other accounts! As you can see it's saying Elite gaming Store! From the Menu Manager it says what the second image and that is Elite gaming Store!! How weird is that. It's always has been Elite gaming Store!! on all ranks but since the update my end is changed..... Can anyone work it out? I'll will also post under Bug Tracker soon
